Right, but why fake an injury?A healthy player gets you more in trade. Isray should have said he's 100% ready to go,he'd get more

Exactly what I acknowledged. Bad way to go about things. But the bad blood is thick. Got a new coach. After Irsay screwed up so bad….think blaming injury to ignore the truth was easier for the team to not deal with day to day.

Why wouldn't you want both????? Why settle for a crap team with no accolades if the money is close???

Bad time of year for max bargaining. Best time to get paid is start of FA. Then teams have full funds available to give out. At this point options are as limited as they possibly can get.

They are saying Gainwell has looked the best and will be the lead RB.

Not anything I’m hearing. I’m hearing Swift has wowed and is the only one looked special. Had some dynamic moves and plays in TC

I think it’ll be a real mixed bag and it’ll be different RBs for different teams, game plans and situations.

Swift situations like starting and needing any dynamic plays. Gainwell for fourth quarter finishes over humiliated nemesis

I don't think anyone gets limited.. I think they all just play due to the strategy of rotating a fresh RB.  And like you said, different situations. Just a natural rotation not really looking into limiting anyone.

But I think Gainwell probably is considered the lead while watching practice, because he does it all.

Not what I’m hearing on my side. But agree Gainwell has the versatility to do everything. He is decent in all phases. Great at none.

It's been him since the start of the offseason.

It’s been clearly defined as all equal at RB including Sermon

That's why I love the RBBC approach. You have to game plan for 5 guys not just 1

You don’t have to game plan for five RBs. Only need to game plan for players that bring attributes needed to be defended.

Swift only guy DC game plans about

No need to game plan for a Gainwell type guy

I saw that dept chart also. Kind of weird. Maybe they did that because of trying to get Taylor on here. It would make sense to keep teams guessing who we think is the best. Indy not going to get the 1 they want

He can’t really hurt you. He’s just the average Rb the D playcall has responsibilities about.

Gainwell just doesn’t have any burst.

Siri just defined it as an open competition at RB

Without a stud playmaker that was obviously separated from the others it seemed like the right approach.

Let them all go earn their position

My understanding…along with working knowledge of all….is Swift is the only guy standing out in the bunch.

Baloney,Penny will rip your a new one if he's healthy

He has made a catch or two that were big time in practice. Also been noticed and reported he’s made some dynamic moves and cuts in practice also.

Siri practices are very cupcake though. So not sure exactly how to judge.

I was happy to see Sermon play a bit. He was "adequate" at OSU,but they are more of a passing team. I know it was vs the 2's and 3's. Still he showed he can bang and is willing to

So,this Taylor drama could spread into the weekend
