I'm kinda with you here. At least early, on  Reagor in the slot. He needs NFL experience badly. Thats' the "safest" place to do it. I think Djax is done for the year. I don't know why I say that, just a gut feeling. At this point Alshon for me is "just another WR." Ward is a keeper as a BU. Fulgham was a more than pleasant surprise. We got lucky, because we can't bring guys along on our own

But if you're moving Reagor to the slot then who are you playing opposite Fulgham?

Personally I like Alshon or Fulgham working the slot but can get Reagor reps there also(Reagor hasn’t been bad on the outside in his 3 games hasn’t been spectacular either). But no matter how we do it those should be our top 3 WRs on game day

I am sure he knew what Farve said. If not from the radio he would have heard it at the press briefs. He is not that oblivious, at least I hope not!

YES, that's what I said... the media brought it up to him in the press conference.... otherwise he had no clue.   Same with Doc Rivers... which was HUGE news here locally for a few days.  IDK... if you are a sports fan and you don't even know who Doc Rivers is, that's pretty much being focused on your own little world.  We all see Wentz at Sixers games all the time,...etc.   would be like Mike Trout being an Eagles season ticket holder, yet he doesn't know who Mike Tomlin is... and being asked about him 2 days after the Eagles would hire him.   I don't think Wentz grew up watching ESPN or any pregame BS ... I think he was into his own life and playing his own sports.  I think the same now.    I don't think he gives two $h@t$ about Foles other than the fact he was annoyed he couldn't play in the SB himself.    I mean, he was there everyday for 2 years, he knows he is way better than Foles... or the mustache man, or Tribusky (who is probably going to take over for Foles soon)  I think he just wants to play and win.

Refreshing as compared to years of McNabb, who was all about the outside noise... so much so that he stopped using his biggest asset which was his running ability because he didn't want to be labelled a " black QB"     Fans want Wentz to change his game, I don't think he cares, he puts his body on the line and tries to make plays, because I just think he wants to win games ...for himself and his team.   He's trying to win and not worried about the rest of the noise.  # 5 will always love you ... but #11 wil always ignore you.

Nice breakdown of Fulgham. He played a lot of X against the Cowboys, and just abused their corners. It has been somewhat of a miracle that we just stumbled onto this kid. Once Wentz starts trusting him more, I think he's going to be a true #1 wideout that can simply take over a game.

I think he is already there as the guy Wentz trusts... by far the most!     If he is an adequate starter, it's a win for us.  Let's not get carried away with this kid.   A decent WR seems like Jerry Rice to us due to what we have had lately.   As for Diggs and his performance vs the Eagles.... he made some great catches for INTs.... also got beat by each one of our WRs that night on multiple occasions.

I mean not labeling the guy a HoFer or nothing but underselling what he has done isn’t a good thing either. Again want to say since week 4 he lets the nfl in yards might have changed recently with Devante Adams going on a tear but still he is up there.

Then you have to add the fact Fulgham so far has had the most impressive start to his eagles career since TO. He has had over 70 yards in every game he has played and what 4 Tds

I'm moving all he guys around at WR.    I like speed and quickness with the ability to make guys miss in the slot.  If I want size, I throw to the TE.  I think it's why NE has had so much success... same with any Peyton Manning offense with Welker, Stokley, Edlemen, Amendola types over the years for those teams.    Agholor in 2017 was excellent with room to work with once we got the ball in his hands.    2 guys out wide that need attention... room in the middle for a guy that can be a pain in the butt to cover in space due to quickness... and big plays can happen.   But I still think it's nice to mix them all around some.   I think Alshon would help in the red zone, as will Goedert.   gotta finish drives as we get down the home stretch and playing better teams.

It's nice... 5 games.  We seem to do this all the time... then the kid goes 5 games where he gets a combined 180 yards and we all get upset.  Let the kid grow a little bit. He was just on the practice squad what 6 or 7 weeks ago.  takes time to develop in the NFL... doing it consistently and when teams have film and game plan for you is a different story.     If he can be a legot starter for us... that's absolutely great, as we know going forward we have all youth there which means a lot of ????     One less piece of the puzzle needed would be awesome.

I'd like to play with the slot spot. With Geoderts return, this helps us alot as far as the old "reliable" play book goes. Remember we have guys that could use snaps like Hightower and you can't call Ward a 'seasoned pro" just yet.Sanders playing should be a HUGE boost to this offense. I'm afraid Alshon needs to shake the rust off, let him and the "other guys" do slot the first 1/2. Mixing up players that can play is not a terrible strategy to keep defenses working on the other side of the ball. A little head game lol aka making the Gnats D coordinator say "ok who is in and how do we cover them" This is a GREAT game to do this.get everyone involved, get the rust off,get the young guys snaps and they can all still be effective this week

I’m not on either side it’s only been 5 games I get that but not going to undersell his impressive 5 games.

You can only do it consistently when you play those games. He has only done it for 5 weeks he also has only played 5 weeks. I’m not making the out to be a top 5 he’ll top 20 WR yet but also not underselling his 5 game start. As of right now he has been showing he could be a #1 now it just keep doing it so far he hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down

Some good news for us is that the weather should be okay. A little breezy but not as bad as it was forecasted to be earlier in the week. That helps us as it will allow us to take advantage of a bad Giants secondary.

Also this news just came out.

I am guessing that McGill is a replacement for Epps? So the team has one roster spot still open, which I guess will go to Seumalo.

If Wilson is active I would guess that JJAW will be inactive.

The deadline has passed for them to activate Seumalo, so I guess it's Pryor and Herbig this week at guard. Not ideal, but they should be okay. Pryor I thought played well against Dallas, and has quietly played the fourth highest amount of snaps on the oline. PFF has dinged him for two sacks, but Kempski has him for none allowed, so that's pretty good.

This is a game where the Eagles need to give the receivers an extra beat to get open, as they are vulnerable deep. The Giants didn't generate much pressure against the Redskins, who aren't good in the interior of the oline, so we should be okay there as well.

Jacquet up again. Why not leave him on the 53??? He shows PROMISE

One good thing is that team's seem able to sign a player if they want to keep him even if another team is interested, such as what happened with Opeta last year, i.e. the Dolphins tried to sign him off our ps and the team added him to the roster. So I don't think we would be in danger of losing him. And there are a couple of corners on other team's practice squads that are rated pretty highly, so he might not be on the league's radar right now.

Ideally he remains on our ps all year and then gets a chance next camp to show what he can do.

Not trying to sell Jacquet short or anything but dude has 30 snaps under his belt and he play Ben DiNucci who wasn’t making anyone pay for poor coverage.

The few reps I do remember Jacquet seemed like he was in alright coverage but it’s a huge difference when you have a QB who can actually throw the ball. Let’s see if he has a good follow up week vs NY now if he plays well then I’d say yea maybe we should look to move him up to active roster

I like him because of his measurables - 6'2" and runs a 4.4. He was a receiver who converted to corner in college, so he's still raw. But he's the kind of guy you keep around because he could turn into something special.

Our back seven is somewhat filled with guys who are okay, but who lack the elite athleticism to be special. So to me, it makes sense to keep him on the roster to make sure he doesn't end up somewhere else. Plus, no one has played well at CB2. So it's not like he is taking a spot from someone who has cemented their place on the roster. It seems dumb to send him back to the practice squad just so NRC can jog around the field making half-hearted attempts at tackles.

Who besides mills/parks really though... Slay already one of the best but older... Maddox is athletic just short. NRC was just a band aid so not counting him. McLeod is a good S think he actually is really shining now that Jenkins has left.

Didn’t Epps and Ford like grade off the charts workout warriors. Wallace but underated athlete if you ask me

Leblanc I guess fits that bill of lacking elite athleticism’s well forgot about him

The one thing about Jacquet is that Schwartz put him out there without really needing to. He could have easily moved Mills to corner when Slay got hurt, but decided not to (although he did once Jacquet got dinged.) So clearly he has impressed in practice.

Considering how poorly our other CB2s have played, I think putting him on the roster and giving him a chance to see what he can do wouldn't be a horrible thing. Every young corner is going to struggle, as we saw with Diggs for the Cowboys. But I think we can live with a guy struggling if there's an upside. That's the problem with playing Maddox or NRC, is that experts seem to agree that they don't have much of a future at outside corner, so playing them there doesn't have any long-term benefit, and the fact that they have both played poorly means there isn't much short-term benefit, either.

I mean one thing I’ve noticed on this team both sides of the ball we don’t like to move guys out of their position if we don’t have to. And Mills was having a pretty solid game out there at S vs Dallas.

I’m not against giving him a roster spot but also don’t think we haVe to rush it either was my point we get two call ups use them. He plays well vs NY then ok we probably move him up.... Odds are we need to cut an OL anyway will have 11 I believe when Semaulo returns.

I don’t fault teams for maxing out the PS call ups why use the roster spot right away if we don’t need to. It’s a whole new ball game and if COVID teams are more cautious just signing guys. How many players have seriously changed hands from PS this season pretty sure it’s an all time low.

Well you worded it better than I did. We let good players sit while forcing some, well, to be nice "less than stellar" players to keep playing(or NOT but they are still rostered). You know everyone has a "first time" right? And while you are probably right, that he wouldn't get poached, then again he might. We screw around with other players for years, and let guys with potential sit. Didn't we find this out at WR already???? I would at least roster him as a BU. Maybe a little confidence would do him good. Practice is practice, he, and some others need to get REAL snaps, in REAL games. I'm glad we got him a few snaps already, but this up/down from the PS has to wear on you mentally. I would be asking my self "am I good enough to play in this league or am I not?" I like this type conversion, because as a former WR, he is more attune to how to defend them. I just feel being called up and performing, should get you a roster spot ASAP. Now that injured guys are coming back perhaps now we can sort the remaining players better. I like his potential, and I don't want another team to make him a starter. If we as fans see his potential, I'm sure other teams are taking notice too

The coaches ... in particular Doug ... were talking him up a bit when asked about who impressed them.  Would love to see him stick on the active roster and keep getting play time to get a better evaluation of him.  The experience could potentially better prepare him for a larger role next year.

I mean again right now nothing changes to me it’s after this week that we should be looking to move him up to active roster... IDK could just be me but I’d max out the PS call ups if I can.

So long as they can keep him "protected” sure.

Even if a team tries to sign him which has been rare this season due to COVID. We could just match and sign to our own roster before hand. I think Jacquet will end up on active roster before seasons end. Honestly would not shock me to see us activate Semaulo cut the extra OL then sign Jacquet
