OH boy do I disagree here LOL. I'll take a 300 yard rushing game every week

Think you rely on stats too much.

What are " power rankings "  lol.  Who lifts more weight?    Lol.

Just "on paper" adding up all the assets from someones point of view. people actually get paid to do this stuff

So if you move Swift out of the backfield....and still have another RB back there... that's definitely a new element.

Pass catching from the RBs almost altogether is new. Have Gainwell and Swift split Pro Form. Each goes their own side on the route. That’s new also. Take both RB and put them at WR. Stack outside wide have them WR screen.

But this is the obvious twist this O will bring to change up from last two years. Need to throw new wrinkles.

Have my doubts. We were so excellent at this last season. Not sure you can improve on last years squad to salt the win away on the ground.

You felt Sanders was good in situational football.   Like it was him that just gave you confidence in the running game?  But now it's gone?

I'll give you my doubt about the running game...it's RG.

It's not new,maybe we haven't had it in while,but it's not new,remember Sproles?

Besides the RB's we have perfected the tush push,so much so they almost outlawed it

But can we run for ten yards in three plays? Not just doing it sometimes. Can we run…when the whole stadium knows we will run.

RB 1) 140 YPG      RB2) 32 YPG which RB you taking?

If they play the run we beat them in the air. This team is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to cover. You need top rate defenders in EVERY SPOT and NO team has that

We accomplished that last season also. But would be much more difficult for us if we have to throw when killing the clock.

Is it a change for just the last 2 years?  Other than Sproles... or early Westbrook.... when have we seen 2 RBs on the field at the same time?   Much more for these reporters who see the team every day for years than just the Siri tenure.

That stuff flashes...things you haven't seen in a long time ...if ever.

This isn't 1970 Ohio State. Woody Hayes 3 yards and a cloud of dust, this is 2023

RB's that can catch-Gains,Swfit,Scott,yet you miss Sanders passing game?

Nah…just showing that Siri just didn’t like him. Sanders showed he could catch. But Siri didn’t use him at all there. I mean look at Sanders receiving stats rookie year. It’s just dumb to say a guy that went for that much receiving can’t be used in the passing game.

Why not...should be more so with Penny in that short yardage situation than Sanders.   Really not close.

Idk what you saw with Sanders...I didn't see a guy that was " we need these tough or key yards, let's give him the ball"    he seemed more like a big run through a gaping hole on a random down.

I don't think anyone " feared" him...our OL was and should be what is their concern on 3rd and 2.

He was Pro Bowl. You getting out of hand now with your hatred. Sanders did run hard last season. But he was very feared. He was the guy that could make that Oline work payoff. That hole the big guys create for him turned into a huge play. Gainwell it just was a good pickup. Big difference.

Just a gut feeling... we won't be " killing the clock"  any where near last year.  Last year was such a fluke with the combo of the excellent roster that we had....good job Howie... few injuries...and the sisters of the poor schedule.

I don't look so much at " running out the clock"  as having to move the ball and outscore teams this year.

Take the Indy game last year when we had to come back and score....this year we have more weapons..  Sanders shriveled up like a raisen vs Indy... we should have better firepower now.

When Dickerson and Mailata dominate their two guys….I want the RB to take it to the house. Or a huge play. That’s the difference we’ll see what happens now. Penny maybe goes beserk…hopefully. Gainwell it’s a 8 yard gain.

https://www.nfl.com/players/miles-sanders/stats/career  Also first 3 seasons could only play 12 games,so if we get 12 from Penny....................If he was so HOT receiving his rookie year why did we stop using him? It show yardage, but what about drops or misses? Obviously he came out on 3rd downs for a reason

Zach is actually listed as the BU to Smith

That’s because of Watkins past. Makes him a starter essentially. No official depth chart been made yet though.

If he can go 10….plus postseason. I’m happy.

That's how I see it too. This offense can light it up,and they need to as we are a little weaker on defense. Our pass rush needs to get there. I'm not worried at all about the offense

Thats why we have the RBBC less time/snaps per RB means they can stay healthy. We're not pounding 1 guy and why again I believe we keep 5. If you think that is "ridiculous" so be it
