Up 1 point you need to kill the clock to win. Nobody here talking a three TD lead

And nobody was giving Sanders the ball in these pressure situations either.

Why do you feel we lost that part. To me we got BETTER

Swift great receiving back. Good rushing also. But limited carry guy. See about the others.

Hey Ham,if I remember,we can put some PS players on restriction. If you want to do that with Sermon I would be ok with it,but I'm not just going to give him away

Competition matters.   Not understanding the fluke of the schedule last year and focusing on this idea we need to grind out the clock??

We gotta score.... and we gotta stop the other team.  Will be harder stopping the much better offenses this year. So won't be in position to just grind out clock

It’s called football. When you have the lead at the end you win by holding onto the ball. Don’t have to score anymore. Also can kill the clock going to score to win. But clock management is important always.

Think 3…especially dressing on Gameday

Game day isn't the 53.   I'll be curious though.   You know I'm not a big theory guy..  I like to check the facts.

So when is cut down day for final rosters?

I'll look at all 32 teams and see.   So I'll give your " most teams"  comment...that 17 teams ( just over half, will only keep 3 RBs.)

Be curious to see...especially what we consider the better teams.

OH we MUST have WR 6????

Rather have WR 8 than RB 5

So the game will never come down to being close at the end?

Just pointing out it isn’t about big picture stats much that matters. It’s about situations. Can you get done…what needs to be done?

Right.... Sanders was stats....nothing about him was a " get it done" player.

More so this year we would assume... being that we shouldn't be winning by 3 TDs every game like last year.

Will be nice having more options at RB this year in these close games.

Always risk every play. There is no risk at all running 2 yard running plays. Of course you won't score but damn you are risk averse

Sometimes you don’t have to score to win. But if you pass incomplete you stop the clock. Maybe that means they aren’t forced to use their TO.

32 was "impossible, can't be done" LMAO

You're just quoting what every team tries to do

How about that risk of your QB dropping the ball in the big game?

QBs have turnovers. Not many are a one man wrecking ball to score over 30 practically by themselves though.

I will agree though Siri still needs more work at clock management

Neither of us believe we will be getting 20 point leads in 3/4 of our games.

We should assume more balance with more opportunities for us to need to do more than sit on the clock for a half.

Really last year it didn't come down to the end much.   Blow outs similar to college....except instead of 40 point wins, a lot of 20.

You mean after the False Start? With no RB back there because they can’t do anything?

Rb's sometimes get 2  yards and not 3 Not many RB's are 1 man wrecking balls. Why does your bar change depending on position?

yes false starts are automatic QB drops on the next play, happens every week like clockwork
