So people got their zero mistake day from Wentz...  what was the result around this dumpster fire environment?

They need him to make plays, not avoid mistakes.  Zero help. The run game works,  they stop running.  Bad snaps, penalties,  no catches made with any degree of difficulty. 

This is the 6-9-1 result of Aaron Rodgers playing it safe in 2018.  You need your QB to make plays when he has minimal to work with and his coach refuses to run.  He can play safe with better talent and a run game that gets used.   Not with this crap.

Great coaching by Philly suburbs native Joe Judge... run the ball until they stop you.   Would love to see that here. 

* on this Covid season anyway. Thought just maybe we had a shot once healthy - evidently not. A few good points - Fulgham etc. Really wanted to bag it, get the higher picks and easier schedule. Don't feel we have a shot vs the Aint's - you know, good teams. We have pieces, not playing together, not on the same page. Know it's not good wishing player injuries, but would like to use the rest of the season trying different things, s/a sitting Wentz. He tries hard, too hard at times and he hurts the team. Why not see what else we have? So I do not want to see us win the div, get a t-shirt, worse pick and schedule. We could win, even thru to the NFC championship game, realistically no further.

Watching an Eagles game this yr I feel like the Reaper guy in that commercial where the kids decide to hide out in the shed with all the saws and he's just in the back shaking his head.

We couldn't get 1 play to Fulgram??...cause we're smarter than everyone so we feature Greg Ward instead.... This is the game plan that Doug brings out ... after a bye week. It sucked ...guess he went home and played golf for they week and had No plan for them sorry GMen. Aaaarrrrggghh.

Fulgham was targeted. He had two passes he had a chance to catch and did not. 

Personally I believe Pedersons' strength was surrounding himself with good people, who unfortunately are gone now, head coaches on other teams. His play calling basically sucks.

Doug’s biggest strength (well ... only strength) is getting the team to play hard for him.  He’s definitely no offensive genius.  And some of the most important coaches added to his initial staff were hired by Howie ... not Doug (Schwartz, Reich).  Doug can’t identify good coaching candidates to save his life.  Groh OC ... not WR coach where he actually did do a decent job)?  Walch?

Joemas, while I don't completely disagree with you, I don’t see it exactly the same way as you. Wentz had all his weapons back today and a MUCH healthier OLine; yet he had several overthrows, tripped over his own guy; didn’t seem to check into good plays. And Pederson DID run the ball today. 85 yards for Sanders. 65 for Scott. The running game ALWAYS depends on the game situation. Always. I laugh when people complain about it even when their team is down 3 touchdowns. Sure they COULD have run it more, but Wentz COULD have made better throws. And his receivers COULD catch the ball better. And. And. And.

Remember how Peyton Manning commanded an offense? How Tom Brady commanded....not as much these days (in my opinion)...an offense? I don’t see Wentz being able to do that. He has not played as well. My point...I’m not sure Wentz CAN make those plays you want him to make consistently. Maybe that’s the problem.....he’s just not good enough. Maybe Pederson relies too much on Wentz.

We have seen him make big plays in the past, but this year it has been a struggle. He made a huge play to win the game vs the Giants. Other than that one, there have been very few.

What an ugly game. Wentz is a mess. The QB play was the difference in the game. Our plan on defense in the beginning of the game was ridiculous. How are we the only team on the planet who still gets beat by the read option?

This team just lacks talent, and it was pretty clear today that we were simply outclassed. But this is the kind of game that Wentz has to win. He has to make better throws. Way too many misses.

There really wasn't any bright spots. No one played well. Maybe Boston Scott and Richard Rodgers. But everyone else was just horrible. But it all comes down to QB play. We pay Wentz too much money for him to play this badly.

Yep Senhor - those couldve's, wouldve's and shouldve's will killya. Wentz has a mental prob this yr, try something else, and I don't mean bringing Hurts in for one run play. Hey - let's make Hurts predictable! 

There's got to be a reason Wentz is playing as bad as he is.

Until proven otherwise i'm going with the effects of his concussion last year.
