Wondering if Rosie can swing a trade here. Obviously my top target is Patrick Queen you all know. But I’m thinking about our guys. Always be nice to grab a pick for a guy getting cut. But maybe we trade a better player for some real draft ammo and don’t have to cut a young guy looking good at the same position.

Why do you think Queen will be available?

If you were Baltimore....wouldn't you keep him this year being considered a contender... then get the comp pick.  Baltimore is known for getting comp picks.

So what would you offer Baltimore?  What is something you think they would prefer over keeping him?

A third and Gainwell…c’mon Irsay….you know you want to

So in this scenario Howie has to offer Taylor the long term deal.

Gainwell is our only RB that is under contract next year.

Usually we like to keep one RB under team control for the following year.

But are we talking " wish" or reality?

2's, 3's and 4's playing tomorrow night?

We should have busses like this one image.png.7a24103db7c9fe8f57e2813c7355c085.png

Who could have guessed?? And this guy gets paid image.png.578a347840c92e3166dbda613c1b4f7a.png

They have some other LB options. They could also have some logic based on plenty of guys could look good next to their stud LB. Last year of Queen’s contract. Very obvious all along they aren’t going to pay him. He could very well be disgruntled about that. He knows he could force a trade and get paid, no?

But not even my idea…he’s listed on a few different people’s list of available trade potential targets.

I have no problem with signing Taylor long term even. If that’s the case….should be willing to give more in compensation to Indy.

So all players could force a trade now?   What have you heard about his situation?   Is he disgruntled?

Or is this all wishful thinking and hope on your part without anything substantial?

It's common how teams let some players finish their contracts.  Not every player requests the trade like Taylor..  because not every owner is Irsay.

Baltimore is considered a contender... they have received a bunch of comp picks over the years.    Unless you heard he is available... not one of these click bait sites... I doubt he is available unless Baltimore either struggles or need to trade for another position.

Right...the click bait sites

Very smart business..  give away more assets and more money to a RB in 2023.   Ignore the the last 2 decades and the results.

You want the Eagles on a Hooters bus??? GAF. Used to take them out on my boat in FL,as well as the Bud Girls. Spent the day with them LOL

RE: Taylor. Defintiely better than Sander by a mile(or 10). Worth a long term in my view and although I don't want to break the bank we have a load of picks next year and "pre scouting" the collegiate RB's,there really are no standouts. The first may go late 1 or early 2 and it's down hill from there,so if you are looking for a draft pick to shore up your future RB's,next year won't get it done. So as far as timing goes,I would sweeten the pot as much as I could. Get him and retain Swift and you have a 1/2 punch for awhile. Our 1 pick should be low, hopefully pick 32(lol) and the fins had no 1 this year and I don't see them giving up a 1 for him. So basically it's a round 2 plus. Joe would know how many round 4 comps we get,so maybe 2 of those and a RB(maybe Sermon). I say Sermon because he has potential, still young and he would play in Indy, even in a RB 2,3 mode and he won;pt be playing alot here,so that would benefit him as well

definitely a force at FL. He was fun to watch. Nice WR if we want smith or AJ to rest a series or 2 throughout the games

I can't follow this...  so what are you saying you would trade for Taylor?

I'll throw in my 2 cents.    If you look around the league....how the Eagles and Miami were able to flip the picks for Wentz and Lance..  and how many picks SF gave up for CMC.   On top of how the game has evolved into the passing league it is...

I would prefer not to invest much into Taylor.   Great player.... for another team.      I want our picks and the cap space to use elsewhere.

I don't need to look to draft a stud... we can get the solid guys with a little chip on their shoulders later in the draft. Mix in a couple cheap FAs... or maybe we resign one of these guys we have.

Panicking about RB....it's a good way to end up like SF.  No thanks.

I don't want the entitled RB who asks out of the game for a breather and then expects to go back in when he wants.   I want the guys who know they are playing around a 3rd of the snaps so they go all out on every play.

The guys with something to prove.

By all accounts Taylor is a good guy... he can get paid elsewhere.

SF gave up...

2021 ... first

2022.. first

2023... first, second, third and 4th

2024 ... 4th

For Lance and CMC

Going into negative cap space next year.     Just awful.
