Hard to know yet. I can't make that call on a guy who is just arriving.. Sure he will play the last PS game, but he's a good WR nonetheless. Be a fine slot guy or he can play outside. So an experienced WR that can sub/relieve in all 3 spots should be a nice commodity down the line. I think he sticks

If he was on the streets smart bet is he’d make back on the PS

Yes....if you want to keep the player.. you negotiate to sign him early.   Unfortunately for some players, reams aren't going to do that.

Still... for those players on the last year... if they are in a good situation, they don't leave.  They play it out and get their deal elsewhere.

Why would Queen want to leave Baltimore.... unless he signs the big contract?   Why not play it out there, where he had his success....especially if the team is considered a contender?

Uhmmmm….maybe for millions of dollars…the obvious reasons. Not like coming here …that we aren’t considered a contender.

I’m sure Queen doesn’t desire money right now though.

I think they were seriously expecting big things out of Cleveland before he got hurt. I thought he looked great even vs the 2's and 3's. I believe he made the room better and that's all I can ask. nice pick up by Howie and company. ham think he will be cut immediately. Which raises the question, why get him now then?

I don’t think T Cleveland is all that good. Big guy the backups targeted a bunch. Like 10 targets a 5 catches in the one game this PS. Ngata looks more promising. He’s had a good TC by most reports. King they made that move for. Makes me think he’s the actual front runner they predict is worth that last WR spot.

OK so it's a blogger, but I forgot Siri was in Indy when he was drafted. I'm sure Siri would love to have him here with a REAL team. I think Howie is pushing to get him. Howie loves splash news and this is right u his alley

WOW 1 game or partial game and you know who is promising already? VS 2's and 3's? Watch Clevland route running, very crisp for a young guy. Thats what you look for in pre,not catches or yards. Even when not targeted, did he get open? Thats the things they are trying to see

Ok... again .... unless the Eagles pay him the long term contract now...

Why would he leave Baltimore... a place that is also a contender, but it's the place and system he has thrived in.

What is the answer besides us paying him the big bucks now?

See this is where I'm not sure you ate getting what I'm saying..  and it appears Ham is also trying to say.

You are basing things off of what you see ... in preseason games.   We are talking about the whole camp.

Reports are Ngata has looked good all camp... not ones vs 2s or 3s..  it's all camp where I'm sure every WR goes against every DB.  Multiple sessions...hours ...lots of reps.

Cleveland... it was a couple of games vs the 2s and 3s... much less of a body of work.  And as you say...vs the inferior DBs.

To keep it simple...  Queen.. we will need to offer a long term deal or no reason for him to want to leave.

Taylor... he would be ok just leaving Indy and being a rental here... but why would Indy rush to trade him for peanuts?

If you give up decent assets for a guy...then you gotta sign him long term.

I don't see either coming here...  that's nothing to do with them as players.   Both great.    Both will cost $$$  Both their current teams will not just give them away.... so they will cost picks.

We can debate what the Eagles should pay... we can't debate what either player or current team desires in return. That's the X factor.

Welp I don't get to see camps so I can only base off what I see and past vids of them performing,so exCUUUUUUUUUUUSE MEEEEEEE!!!!

Correct... but the Eagles aren't going to base off of what you see ... a couple of reps.    Vs a month of work.

That's the difference between Cleveland and Ngata.

Here's 1 play for 98 yards, but if you watch FL like I did he is a great route runner(still needs polish). He always fibs ways to get open, Seems like FL has a bevy of BU WR's we like

Ngata is ok,but even though he played outside he is best suited for the slot

If we are talking about who makes the roster... what any of us see for a few reps in the context of a preseason game...   isn't going to weigh as much as what the guys covering the team every practice are seeing.

Maybe Ngata looked good vs Slay and Bradberry...or the other teams starting CBs.    Cleveland,  we didn't hear much.  But he looked good vs the other teams backups to us for a few reps.

Big difference. I personally am not arguing over what any of us saw.. I watched very little to dispute anything or anyone's opinion.

I'm just looking at who might make the team based off of reports over the whole camp.

So that's fine. Cleveland is more of an outside.Ngata is more of a slot guy. not lot of film on Cleveland but I saw him play at FL. Both have upside, but Cleveland is clearly sharper if you watch his vids. So both would have a place here

But what they did in college doesn't matter.  What they did in camp does.  I am one that looks at the NFL game as a totally different game.   Players do ok in college but better in the pros and some the other way.   You never know until they do anything vs the actual pros.

Reports are Ngata looks good... in the here and now.

So did Cleveland, but WHATEVER,we could go ON and ON about it. Of course college matters, that's where you find JJ's LOL

At this point college doesn't matter.   What you did in college gets you here...  what matters now is what you do here.

Hours of film in college vs a month of seeing someone in person....play vs nfl players, be in an nfl locker room,  and watch film, go to meetings, do the weight room conditioning.

No contest on what matters.

If the Eagles make a decision on college film vs what the player has done here.... we are in trouble!

It's called the draft LOL

So afer a few weeks we know "what you do here"? Some talented players take longer to transition to the NFL than others, you should know this

Off to dinner with daughter. I got NFL Red Zone on Dish. 13 bucks a month,so I can watch all the games. DTV wanted 350.00 and why I changed over LOL
