Joemas, while I don't completely disagree with you, I don’t see it exactly the same way as you. Wentz had all his weapons back today and a MUCH healthier OLine; yet he had several overthrows, tripped over his own guy; didn’t seem to check into good plays. And Pederson DID run the ball today. 85 yards for Sanders. 65 for Scott. The running game ALWAYS depends on the game situation. Always. I laugh when people complain about it even when their team is down 3 touchdowns. Sure they COULD have run it more, but Wentz COULD have made better throws. And his receivers COULD catch the ball better. And. And. And.

Remember how Peyton Manning commanded an offense? How Tom Brady commanded....not as much these days (in my opinion)...an offense? I don’t see Wentz being able to do that. He has not played as well. My point...I’m not sure Wentz CAN make those plays you want him to make consistently. Maybe that’s the problem.....he’s just not good enough. Maybe Pederson relies too much on Wentz.

We have seen him make big plays in the past, but this year it has been a struggle. He made a huge play to win the game vs the Giants. Other than that one, there have been very few.

Lol... Doug ran the ball?????     Yeah the RBs got yardage...  but on how many rushing attempts???   Lol.  19.   Scott got 3... 3 runs from Scott.

" when the situation dictates ????    How about the situation where you run it 9 yards,  and instead of passing twice to get the one yard, maybe you run it again?  Or, you run it 11 yards... in first play of the drive... instead of passing where protection breaks down,  then Hurts trick play for a loss, then a pass on 3rd down... how about we run it right after getting 11 yards.

Today was PERFECT example of pass happy / rocket sciencentist Doug making the play calling harder than needed.  See how the Giants kept running the ball... the little **** slap in the face that constantly hits it's mark... you keep doing that when it works, you save the right hook when you need it.

The offense has no overall theme.  Doesn't seem like they are trying to establish anything? Passing deep, middle, short, ...take advantage of a matchup  .. establish the run? Nothing , no theme.   Give the QB and the pedestrian supporting cast something to follow.  Doug is all over the place.

There's got to be a reason Wentz is playing as bad as he is.

Until proven otherwise i'm going with the effects of his concussion last year.

If anyone has a better idea speak up.

He had a baby remember

You had a couple nice drives in the 3rd Q.  Run the ball to use playaction and rollouts for Wentz ...who made plays.  Takes the pressure off of your OL who has been struggling big time with consistency in pass blocking.

Those 2 drives had a solid foundation, a theme to follow to where the players could get behind and build from.    Of course we have to go back to disorganization and being all over the place... and we see the results when the QB doesn't make hero plays.  4 drops at the end by Sanders and Fulgham.   Just one play like Slayton made at the end would be awesome.

Today was Wentz as point guard...and the rest of the guys missing shots.  Wentz needs to do more with this group or we lose. Scramble, extend plays, make perfect throws in tight windows...otherwise we have nothing.  Nothing from his teammates or his coach.

Asg - marriage, kid, all the pressure and negstive press, overthinking, OL changes, injuries, life - tough to handle

* on this Covid season anyway. Thought just maybe we had a shot once healthy - evidently not. A few good points - Fulgham etc. Really wanted to bag it, get the higher picks and easier schedule. Don't feel we have a shot vs the Aint's - you know, good teams. We have pieces, not playing together, not on the same page. Know it's not good wishing player injuries, but would like to use the rest of the season trying different things, s/a sitting Wentz. He tries hard, too hard at times and he hurts the team. Why not see what else we have? So I do not want to see us win the div, get a t-shirt, worse pick and schedule. We could win, even thru to the NFC championship game, realistically no further.

Yes, but we got them for their pre game dance moves, you know the really IMPORTANT stuff!!!! It's essential these young guys learn the proper moves pre-game. Football can come later. One must have their priorities straight

Hurts would thrive in up tempo. What I liked about Foles is he didn't think about everything, he just did, saw and reacted quickly, no dawdelling,

Joe,Joe,he is a great offensive mind!!! You just don't understand. It's your fault!!!

This is SHOCKING because we had 2 weeks to prep, rest, get the playbook down. Nah,my bad WTH was I thinking???

Our last shot at a W is next week. After that is gets NASTY. Really getting sick of the re-run pressers "we have to do better". Just put this on a CD and run it the rest of the year. No need to even show up for those either.

Sorry, just believe Doug's not such a great offensive mind, He's a good head coach, not such a great play caller at times.

I have 2 hopes. We stay healthy, Wentz gets his head out of his a@@ and we win, otherwise lose out - just don't go for the t shirt if we can't win

I said earlier great offensive minds can adjust IN GAME, so I suppose if you count going away from the run again(as usual), he made the adjustments. Just not the ones I wanted him to

I have bought ZERO gear this year. Some because of the NFL BS,the rest because there is noone on this team that's worth buying a jersey for. I will wait and buy a Fulgham when those go on sale lol(or maybe not)

Great coaches adjust in game, not wait until half time. Great coaches keep the opposing team guessing all the time, giving themselves the advantage

Haven't worn any Wentz jerseys

Yep,been saying that forever that Ped had not grown from day 1 in that regard.he still waits until 1/2 time, and that gives the illusion of "play 30". Of course it's not an illusion, because we DO play 30. For me this was the game Wentz "got on track".Didn't happen,so I suppose the locals will be calling for his head as well as Ped's. Should be a "fun" week for the staff lol

BTW - I bet against us today, even getting better odds as I played played Gnats by 7 - that's a realist. Realistically we can win the NFCE but not the NFC. Sit the old guys to maybe get usage, less treadwear for next yr if you're going to keep them, get your future guys some experience.

I'm glad in fantasy I have players who can make up for the Eagles awful D this week.I'm still winning all my games DESPITE them. I had Engram in at TE, who basically did nothing, because he didn;t have to lol

I also said before that Gallman we should watch, but we didn't and he had a field day

SO, looking at all the remarks over the last week, and us sorting out the answers to questions upcoming, for me there is only 1 question now-----WHY?????? (crickets).Philly fans are brutal, and this gives them all the ammo they need lol

18 carries for 53 yards? He had fewer yards in 18 carries than Boston Scott had in 3.

I just hate wasting another yr of good players like Cox, esp w/ high salaries. Have to get everything in sync to have a great yr. We actually have a really good reveiving corp, decent RB's although we need a bull or FB type, secondary got better, we actually have a pretty good team. Wentz kills us, and it's not always the OL.

Don't understand all the bad snaps unless Kelce's losing a step and overcompensating

Yeah and 2 TD's Thats a nice day for a RB no?

Eagles ran the ball 19 times for 153 yards. That's over 8 YPC.

Has Doug gone retarded on us?

The 2 drives in the 3rd quarter were perfect.  He adjusted. Ran the ball, used playaction and rollouts off of the running success.   2 drives,  right down the field.   Then rocket scientist Doug takes over again???  I mean, the same stuff leads to success, the same stuff leads to failure..   why is it so hard to call the stuff that works. Plays that fit your strengths.
