And actually Chicago could give up their round 1 since they did alot of work already. having DJ moore and taylor would be a boon for Fields

Inquiries are not offers

Offers depend on player extension or rental one year….obviously

Teams can put in offers if a second round or combination of draft picks tied to a proposed extension offer towards Taylor’s future. Doesn’t mean Taylor accepted it already though.

2 teams have made offers, those are concrete, once again inquiries are not offers

Bears make the most sense for Taylor as long term he can grow with the team

Multiple teams paying close attention to him. GMs gotta sniff around the agent and situation enough. Draft pick compensation will depend on acceptable extension or not. One year Rental price is cheaper

We have to beat the Niners and the Cowboys. Top two focused priorities need to be this season I would presume.

Then a year from now he wants 15 million a year and we lose him like we did Sanders and are right back to where we started. Besides he wants a,long term not a 1 year and Isray wants a 1. you can dream all you want but you need to get over those 2 hurdles

Penny is fine. Which 2 are you cutting besides paying out $ and losing draft capital? I hope Howie isn't going to do it

How many Yards/TD's will Penny get this year?(if he stays healthy)

I have my guess already LOL

Passing game obviously was a big addition. Reagor and rookie DeVonta the year before wasn’t nearly getting it done. DeVonta slim year two with Quez out there all boosted by adding Hurts best buddy to that phase…clearly boosted the passing game. With Goedert very much coming into his own…except when injured. Think the running game was better. But just had some huge passing moments. Think it was Steelers game Hurts just lit them up big time through the air. Both facets, running and passing, set each other up to make the other better.

Running game was better the year before with more of a split...with Howard in the mix.   Last year they forced Sanders the ball...now back to just maxing out the team result.   Should see much better impact from the RBs

And having a RBBC here(which Joe pointed out) would mean reduced touches, which means a reduced "big" contract next year. There is no advantage for him to play here. He would probably do better playing in Minnesota replacing Cook to "finish out",but they have shown no interest I am aware of. He wants paid NOW

The advantage is the better chance of winning....that's more for a guy at the end of his career.....right now, we aren't the ideal spot for a guy looking to show he is worth the big contract.

I'm trying to look at it realistically.. obviously you add him to the mix,  it's good for the Eagles... but being in a mix isn't good for Taylor...and trading at low value doesn't work for Indy.

Can't just look at it from our standpoint...gotta be right for everyone.

Yep,IMO Bears give him the shot he wants. Would be great for them as a long term and they can even afford to give up a 1 since they did alot of work already. They have the cash to burn also

Miami has an offer in,so does someone else,IDK if it's us however

I’m not so sure he wants a long term deal right now….kind of what I’ve been saying. Think nobody is willing to offer enough at this time. Probably better for him to go big on a known quantity. High visibility comes with a contending team and big games. To enter FA next offseason. Every team…with max money will be available when he’s on a higher note than coming off a down season.

An offer at "Market Value”…..covers a decent range.

Reported rumor-deadline. Wouldn’t hang my hat on that one.

If they get a good offer in a few days  I bet they still take it.

I'll wager he stays with the Colts. irsay is trying to prove a point.  When he doesn't get a big enough contract offer.. he will have to play out the rookie deal.

Basically any amount of money a team offers…they’d label their offer "Market Value”, right?

Then he can choose to force his way to a contender cheaper as a one year rental. Then future team could still always sign him to an extension. Something to monitor in the trade language with the Colts.
