Correct....this was going to happen all along.   You guys need to pay attention. 

The deadline was Irsay saying..." your ankle isn't ready, we are going to put you on the PUP list unless you find something before the roster deadline."

Then they don't need to talk about it for 4 weeks...or longer.

This was a known.  Doesn't change anything

Seems a bit childish for an owner,especially having a new QB to break in. taylor would have helped even if he had to sit out a week

We traded with the Saints in 2022... we have their 2024 2nd rounder.   Pretty common for these late rounds to go a couple of years out.

He isn't ready to play...he wasn't going to be removed from the Pup.  This was the reason for the soft deadline...because if not traded,them he can't play for at least 4 weeks.

What do you want the owner to do...take a guy off of PUP that can't play?

This was the reason for the soft deadline. Now teams can regroup and see who else may want to make an offer.   Someone gets injured, it might work better for both Taylor and Indy.

It was common sense all along, why do you think I kept saying Indy is in no rush to make a trade...unless it was a good one.
