But have to agree that at WR….only four guys that mattered. Real nice quality group collected behind those four this TC.

Don’t have to protect guys that aren’t above the options that would remain anyway though. NGata isn’t so important to roster because the dropoff is so far after him.

Looked like we have four or five WR options that were gunning for fifth WR. So we easily can get on or two of those guys back on PS. Or back on the 53 after official roster shuffling.

Like if we just bring back Ward to as 5th WR and returner? We wouldn’t lose much of anything versus the others.

Covey hasn’t proven dynamic as a returner. Hasn’t proven to bring too much as a WR either.

Covey they invested in. Chose to develop. Has been going for all last season. So was hoping for improvement. That investment and NFL coaching to start paying off

Meant even more they actually had such boosted confidence in themselves. They got a good HC.

If I say I want 32PPG MOST people would assume that was the GOAL,but no, not in Hamiityville, where lack of understanding and common sense rule the day. I'd rather have the guy who averages 5 YPR and doesn't fumble than the guy who averages 10 YPR and fumbles even 2-3 times per season

So after reading these two novels....I did take out that you said that you are far from a perfect communicator....    so with that in mind....( not as a general  comment or a shot)  ..but what is the point you are trying to say?

Really making me wonder about Covey’s injury. Figured he was just being treated cautiously. Kind of like we already knew what we had in him already anyway.  So he had nothing to prove. Strictly was a situation of can another outperform and beat him out. Which never materialized.

Our ST coach has not performed up to any acceptable level yet though. Siri being loyal is a good quality. But retaining the bad coach just because he isn’t going to get poached isn’t good. 

Elliott is the only bright spot from him. Elliott has been nothing short of elite. But I don’t think our ST coach currently has even been a large factor in this. 

Three years now and hasn’t unearthed a single guy to handle returns. C’mon man! Those guys are around available. Don’t need to invest a high pick for those players.
