CMC will effect the game....with his receiving.   His running by itself doesn’t translate.... it's why I prefer to avoid Taylor... Sanders ..and those guts.

At the end of games if SF is ahead...let's see how Mitchell does vs CMC.

Not accurate. You are missing fundamental football knowledge here. Receiving and rushing is a great dynamic to fear by defenders. Having an element coming from behind QB is a whole list of problems to defend. But real tough to just pass pass pass to glory against the top teams. The counter balancing of rushing opens up the pass so much more. Not sure how much more I can explain the symbiotic relationship there to you

But I will….again….point towards the Niners as our major roadblock in the NFC

And at the end of the season...I'll make my point.   When they fail... the whole clearing the cap ( the obvious move of a perennial loser that they were up to that point) won't lead to anything for that.   Except for some firings.

What makes CMC anything.is his threat in the passing game.  You take that away ..  he is barely Miles Sanders.  That opens up everything for him.

Hurts passed the ball in the playoffs didn't he?

I wasn’t the person that labeled him a running QB. Wasn’t me that questioned him being quality enough to start for us. I didn’t cry about moving Wentz to turn things over to Hurts. I knew Hurts was a total QB…not a RB. I was the only person here to suggest him signing an extension easily after contending for MVP. Of course Hurts can pass. He brings more than anybody I’ve seen to the position. Nothing I questioned. I touted Hurts as plenty enough to win the big game. Noticed how he steps up to meet the challenges instead of shrinking. I stated Hurts can win on the postseason. The confident insistent denial of Hurts being capable of postseason success was you. Others also…but not me. I debated and disagreed the whole time.

He is a unicorn...possibly Kamara...  Henry, Taylor...all these other run 25 times a game bell cows don't translate to wins.

CMC if he never ran the ball ...would upgrade our offense simply putting him in for Quez.    It's a passing league...it's why he is the most impactful RB...due to his effect on the passing game.

He passed the ball....it's ironic...his mistake that helped lose the game came on a running play.  But he passed the ball well.   That's what you need to beat quality teams at the end of the year, they aren't going to let you bear them only with the legs.

We agree we didn't face a quality team until KC?  Especially once QBs were knocked out.

If Baltimore makes a run...in the playoffs...it's going to be Lamar passing well.

Alone I believed in Hurts. Faced all numbers against me. All attacking me with their correct thoughts about everything. While I got bullied up on. My being the sole opinion meant I was clearly in the wrong. Ludicrous. Or because my opinions actually age do well ….then I’m labeled a narcissist. The guy so adamant, cocky and arrogant endlessly stating falsely…nope…he isn’t the narcissist. He has the crowd to bully on the lone educated opinion. The incorrect mob that is arrogant and all knowing…..they aren’t the cause or labeled. They just put their bats away….then spring up to point out how the greatest performance in the SB wasn’t noticed…just a fumble.

Pacheco translated to a win. Wrong

Clearly it was KC... but again... going forward is what matters.   They will have one last shot.   If they miss, they are in trouble.

KC was the roadblock in the SB. Not to get to the SB.

Nah…he elusive. For a team like us that was terrible at tackling…that lost our top tacklers, at that…he’s a real problem.

His multiple over thousand yard seasons….strictly on the ground were never a factor for any defense, you say? His 38 TDs on the ground count as less points than passing TDs?

Name of the game is put opponents in conflict each down. Easiest way to succeed against them. When they make one step towards run…opens up the pass. Have Kittle and Aiyuck in the middle dicing up our coverage …even through double teaming….has to open up the rushing attack.

Hardest to defend is what you can’t predict. One dimensional is much easier to deal with.

Niners elite D….gets the lead…their O has the ball with three minutes remaining…can we stop them and have a chance to answer for victory?

  • Author

Practically any team is toast if they fall behind the Niners this season.

  • Author

Much more pressure than we applied so heavily last year to most everybody

  • Author

We struggled so hard at stopping the run last season. How is it we so greatly improved in that area on D?

  • Author

Is it turning over our second level of D to no experienced player?

I have no desire to be considered ‘normal.’ I’ve never subscribed to any subscriptions of Sheeple. But if you read and process what I was telling you in my post….it actually was a negative knock against Taylor. That the Badgers really ride on his back extremely heavy. Pretty much exact opposite of usage that I described was the plus with Sanders. Sanders behind Barkley barely had touches. Then we managed Sanders in a manner that would suggest our own interests being longer term with him. Sanders just such a rare RB. For him to hit the payday contract after his rookie deal with such low tread wear and tear was a huge plus towards him in comparison to other RBs(current and historically). Sanders is just hitting his prime. In the case of Taylor however? The analysis could point towards his wear and tear being a factor to equally his mileage on his tires going downward from here. That the Badgers so abused overuse with him….he’s aged beyond his years already. Giving a real legitimate reasoning to point towards last year actually being predictable beginning towards Taylor’s downfall. I compared Taylor’s pro and college to just Henry’s pro touches over the same time period. Big Ten is major college football. But can’t say it is totally equal to NFL. In this consideration of touches by a RB …not sure how much different things would be compared between the two? A guy at any level hitting you wrong can do just as bad of damage. Anyway….this(total touches) is a real looming factor hanging over Taylor.

OMG!! You forgot the word GOAL!!!!

Elliott is the only bright spot from him. Elliott has been nothing short of elite. But I don’t think our ST coach currently has even been a large factor in this.

I doubt there is any coaching going on for Elliott. Either you can kick or you can't. They practice on thier own. They don't snap the ball, they don't hold the ball,so what coaching can there be????

Am I describing rocket science level understanding here? Find players that work. If things are so shaky that Siposs has to do the job…why not just punt out of bounds?

I guess you failed to move on??? Gone for 2 hours and I'm 6 pages behind
