Maddox and NRC give confidence to QBs. Just throw it up high they are so tiny. Not like you have to worry about them intercepting anything either.

Watching NE vs Baltimore...the CB for NE who made the INT at the end of the half seemed like 6 inches taller than the WR.  Jones dropping it over Maddox was just too easy.  Might be time to move him to safety.

Anyone else think we have the players for the most part, the play calling and QB play has been failing us?

Is there a problem w/ Wentz and coaching?

No I don't think we have the players.  I do think the young guys should get better. And they all should play better the more they get to play together.   I don't think the coach is doing them any favors.   QB played the mistake free game everyone wanted..  so we could accentuate the greatness of the weapons we have...lol.

1. A running mindset with an additional RB they trust and that can pass block.

2. Stability and starting level players on the OL

3.  A blocking TE to play with Goedert.

Add those things, I think Doug would run more and magically Wentz plays better like he did in the 3rd quarter when they had to respect our run game.    But for now..  not for the most part or for the least part. .do we have the players.  Not close.

1) If I can run them in, I can play for 1/2 salary 2) Maybe so,I didn't watch it,was just following the play by play on my fantasy site. 3)Seems to me our "bend but don't break" defense got broken today. We know how that works. If the offense is not going to put up points, they are not going to kill themselves. This team is built to score 32 points a game. Failure to do that makes it tough sledding

???   Yeah,  you miss a lot watching the arrow on the fantasy website.

I don't see us playing bend but don't break. They ran the ball on us.  They hit passes that were between the zones, over the front guy..  didn't think at all it was soft or conservative defense.

As for 32 points.  We haven't put up 30 yet.  Wouldn't surprise me if we don't all season with this group... barring successful hero ball from the QB.

yeah, for me those are the 2 keys,Score 32 and a dominating pass rush and we have neither

Pats doing a nice job On the ravens

It's now official-we suck. Fanatics has Eagles gear at 65% off(all of it!!!) UGH

Can't argue that we are missing both.

Yes. Yes we do. We really suck. Look at who we have beaten this year. That right there is enough of a reason to know this team isn't turning anything around.

Time for that familiar annual anthem "yeah but just wait till NEXT year!!"

Keep forgetting we will have WR Goodwin next year,so we may not need a high draft pick WR(or any at all), so there's a plus(maybe)

What are we really expecting from Goodwin though? I mean let's be honest here...

Meanwhile a guy named Sidney Jones had another Interception yesterday....smh

Past time for a house cleaning. Only guy on defense I want to keep is Graham. I know it sounds funny, but that dude is a clubhouse presence and all players respect him. Do not care about anyone else. Doug needs to give up play calling. He is so predictable that even I know what he is going to call. Who the heck thought it was a good idea to go for 2 on the second TD score? Get the 1 point to keep it a 3 point game! Howie cannot run the draft next year. It is time we stop undervaluing the LB position! That Jones TD run should never have happened. Sweat screwed up but there was no one to help out once he did. We miss Jenkins. Mills cannot replace him. There is so much more I am upset about that I just don't have the time right now. At work. Talk later.....

I don't know why we should expect anything to be different so long as Howie is still in charge of talent evaluation/acquisition and Doug is still running the offense.

Between Howie's complete ineptitude to properly evaluate certain positions (namely WR and CB) and his continued devaluing of the LB position, Doug's crap play calling, and the lack of a strong QB coach to help get Wentz back on track, I think we are going to be stuck in this cycle of ending each season as a 0.500 team (at best) until we have larger changes at the top.

Thank God for the championship in 2017, but it seems to have bought those guys a longer leash than they should be allowed, unfortunately.

Douglas also playing ok. Remember last season when Miami basically gave their team away??  Look at them now!! Bucs also look really good AB, EVans, Godwin as WR's never hurt anyone along with Gronk and Brate at TE. Ronald Jones is better than he is credited for. TB will be playoff bound, Miami might also. Finally nice to see some competition in the Pats division, instead of giving them 6 free games a year

Say what you want, but with Wentz's poor play, he is losing this team. Confidence lacking in the offense is now getting into the Defenses heads. They will stop killing themselves physically, because it's "not worth it" Although we could use another RB and maybe a WR next draft, I take those late. LB, CB, DT gotta be the tops needs on my list. I like our young WR's, I would add one more.We will have Goodwin back due to covid. He can be that "vet" we always seem to NEED around. Other teams don't NEED them, they play their guys, rooks or no rooks. Jjaw is a bust (there I said it) and Reagor, well the jury is out, but his speed doesn't mean diddly that I can see. Wentz needs to say BYE BYE to his "buddy" and get REAL help from a coach, because as the players are improving around him, he still looks crappy

Started my band in 1990 ... 30 years later still going strong. 🦾

I also play in a 90s alternative rock band and a Live tribute band.  Plus I have a duo project I do on the side.  Music fuels my soul.  🤘🏻

I was hoping 2017 was the BEGINNING of something, not the END lol. Ped's play calling is partly his own fault formed by the fact he has no players to execute the plays he wants to run. With all out injuries(another annual event) it's pretty surprising he is able to field a team at ALL. I fire my entire S&C staff effective yesterday. Don't let that big green door hit you in the arse on your way out. If you can't keep players on the field, it doesn't matter how much money you spend. We need to hire a guy like Mayock, who has a track record of spotting draft picks that succeed. I didn't like Chip much, but we had the same players on the field every week when he was here
