They are a mess.... next year they have $190 million of cap space taken up by a few players..... not including Bosa who is holding out for however much more than the 30 mil per SF already agreed to pay.   They had to cut a bunch of players due to cap space.

They are primed to take an ass kicking Sunday

In such a mess and cut so many valuable players that: many are predicting them to be very strong contenders to win it all this season.

Watson was a top five QB before all the mess happened

And he has proven NOTHING.He needs to do that this year, just like Hurts had to prove it 2 years ago

If you read the post it states the answer right there.

Not really... as per usual you don't speak directly... nothing on " the record "

Same BS.. go read it.. look up here at your post.... 11 words... the normal person would have just written a team name down.   But you don't want to be a " sheeple"   so why use one word when u can use 11.

Sometimes  No Mas ...life just isn't that simple.   Sure it is.. one word...the team name.

Idk...didn't we score quickly because they refused to use Boston Scott to run the ball.   Now all of a sudden you think the run game would have worked to score slowly?

You don’t know is a solid start. You can get there. Just keep thinking it through. Consider more than you have so far. Rewind a bit further.

May not matter though. If it's the Caff and Kittle show could be enough

Their best player won’t be available holding out….and they’ll still win. That’s how good a team they possess.

I'm there...I already disagree... you are the smart one...explain.

IDK that they will win. They will if those 2 can't be stopped

Who is their RT....and who plays on the DL besides the 3 guys that start.

Details matter.  It's a team game...CMC and Ward aren't going to win by thenselves.

You can do it. You’ll get there. Just answer the question of how much time was on the clock when your boy choked and shanked the punt?

An injury waiting to happen.

Many have them right at the top of talented rosters in the league

Especially for Slay if forced to try and tackle him several times

The sheeple...the guys who look for flash.  The 6-8 guys that count for the 190 mil...   it's a team game though.  The other guys matter.

How did he do vs Slay last year?

What improvements has SF made to their roster....compared to what they lost?

Your argument is based on a 30 year old overpaid Hargrave and the idea Purdy is actually good, and wasn't a fluke of the surroundings from last year.  They lost some key players and some depth pieces...on both lines.

Didn't pick until 87th... and took a kicker round 3?

For a team that gets injured as much as they do, to lose depth is huge.

Seattle meanwhile has built up a nice little squad...some key young pieces added in the draft on both sides.

SF has the 1st place schedule. Tough one coming up vs Pittsburgh, a loss in the home opener could start the spiral.

So it’s very likely much more time comes off the clock with KC driving 70 yards instead of 10, correct? This is without considering our D makes a play…or stop …or KC makes a single mistake on the 70 yard drive to keep them from posting up 7 points at that time.

Niners had the first place schedule last season also

Everyone predicting the same teams.   Doesn't mean squat.  This idea that Purdy is so good.   He was never tested.  Going to be different this year.

You mean like the top notch S? Nah…you don’t consider that important. Or the best in the league LB? Or the Lb paired with him to make them the team fielding the best second level of D in the league? Nah couldn’t be their outstanding LBing. You don’t consider that important. Or the best in the league RB? Nah…that you don’t consider important either.

Really??  Geez I could have sworn they were 3rd in their division in 2021?  I thought the Rams were defending SB champs and the Cardinals were 2nd place in 2021?

3 out of the last four years the Niners reached the NFC Championship game. One of those they won to reach the SB. With crappy QB play. How could that be possible? A stud LB and stud S can’t lead to success you’ve repeatedly suggested as fact.

Maybe that's why you slerp up the 49ers.... in your world they get 1st place when in reality they finish 3rd.

That explains a lot.
