Reddick really kicked butt for us. I hope we can pay him and keep him around.

Dude.. we milked out Hargrave beautifully.. got him the passing down stats.  Now he will have to play more snaps...at over 30.

We replaced him with Carter.

If you can't see the advantage going forward, idk what to tell you.

Plus we have more picks and way more cap space.

Idk how you can't see it??

Now with Bosa getting paid.  This isn't the NBA.... 4 or 5 guys don't win you a title... not when none are the QB.

Bosa has been on an absolute tear on the field, racking up 34 sacks, 40 tackles for loss and six forced fumbles over the last two years. He earned his first All-Pro selection to go along with his DPOY honor in 2022. Dude is sick!

Have you watched this guy play? He’s a beast!

This definitely means Parsons is getting $35 mil per from Jerry.   Lol.

And here we are ... QB for 4 years 73 mil...lol.

How does he do vs us?

Why can't we....lol?   Do you actually pay attention to facts....or once you get a narrative in your brain that's it?

Why can't we extend him....while lowering his cap hit?

I totally see it from all angles. Getting Carter was massive for us. Made the difference in that Saints trade. If he didn’t fall…we would have lost that trade. Hargrave is killing it now. Was for us. He’s a loss. A gain for them…big time. Over a longer term look strictly based between comparing these two players? Carter should easily be the better option with time. If he doesn’t get into trouble…or get a big head and all. Cross fingers our culture can keep him on the right path.

Are you asking for my prediction? We’ll find out week 13. Then most likely again in the postseason. My opinion is that he’s a big problem for us to deal with this season. Should plan accordingly.

Hargrave is a pass rushing DT... over 30.   How many pass rushing DTs have you seen excel at thar stage?   Guys who weren't already good vs the run?

You see how we struggled vs the run when he had to take on more snaps.  49ers don't have the DL depth.   He is getting older.... more snaps at an older age... for a pass rushing DT?   You don't see how that can go bad in a hurry?

No...previous games.

I'll call the 49ers win 9 games. Maybe 10.  That probably gets them in as a 6th or 7th seed.  Depends on the rest of the NFC.

Reddick counts almost 21 mil vs next year's cap.  Already on the books.  $15 mil of cash going out.

Any extension will lower the cap hit.   It's not a difficult concept to understand...NOT EXTENDING Reddick will cost more.

To say " I hope we can afford him " doesn't make sense.

They still have the same DTs…just added Hargrave . Just moves Kinlaw back on the depth chart rotation.

We did and will likely struggle against the run. They have Warner and Greenlaw eating up anything coming into their territory. We have hopes in Dean and ?

Bosa has been done. Reddick has not still.

Right... the Eagles still have to open up more cap space by extending Reddick...correct.  it's absolutely one of the things they will do to SAVE cap space next year....correct.

DT is first line of defense.   It's 2023.. you need to get out if this old school mentality with who gets the stats.  The lines dictate.  With the OL you have the 5 guys....the DL you need depth.    SF got worse on both lines.

The added Clelin Ferril and Hargrave which makes their starter now a backup.

The DL... as a whole.  They lost Ridgeway and added Hargrave at DT.  Which is better vs the run?   They lost their depth at the edge.   That matters.

They also lost a very good DC in Ryans.... remember my boy calling him Mufasa.    None of these changes for other teams matter to you. . But you can find the biggest negative with losing Epps...a guy you had zero confidence in last year.

They lost 2 edge guys.   A  RT and a RG.  The big picture....you are just focused on the flash of the starting 4.

Again..we milked out Hargrave for the prime 3 years.  The $84 mil investment SF put in for years where he turns 31-34 at the end... way overpaid.

Good flashy move.   Bad business overall.

I’m seeing us paying Hargrave 12 million on our cap this season to play for the Niners.

We lost our RG also. Pro Bowl RB(they have the best actually being in their playbook and system a full season this year). We lost our DT….to them. They gained a DT. We lost both starting LBs. We lost both starting S.

I'm seeing the Eagles with $60 mil more cap space,  more draft picks, better statistical punter and coming off a year where they advanced further than SF.

You focus on the detail to spin things...I'll keep looking at big picture.
