LOL...that Jones kid just was plain not good enough... For us.... Why couldn't he be the player we drafted him to be? For us. Hell look at Darby in DC he seems to be playing well for Washington. They looked like crap for us.  Tired of the same story coming out of Peedys mouth. " We have to be better."  " We have to put the players in a better position to make plays." Same BS. I get it though...My loyalty... to this team cost me some dollars this week. Started Wentz on Draft kings on one of my teams along with Goddert and the Eagles D....UGH...to coin a phrase expressed by another here...hehehehehe. They sucked. I ignored Peedys 1-3 record after the Bye. Believing this week might be different...What a sucker's bet. Wentz NO longer has the right teachers around him anymore. Peedy is destroying a lot of good will for his SB victory with this teams performance this year.

In fantasy I put in the Eagles D and Engram, because my starters were on bye. Both total fails .Luckily I got numbers from my other guys to cover them lol. I won't be making THAT mistake again. Both on waivers after tonight lol

On the bright side, only 56 more years to another SB!!!!! 🙄

BTW the decision to go for 2 was indeed bonehead. I think it was Ped's attempt to try and instill some kind of confidence on offense. Of course it failed, which probably destroyed the very thing he was aiming to do, so although I can call "bonehead play", I can understand why did tried it. If successful may have been a little spark we needed

I mean the offense just scored 2 consecutive TDs.   The confidence was good at that point.  He stopped using what worked. It's not rocket science

Lol... Doug ran the ball?????     Yeah the RBs got yardage...  but on how many rushing attempts???   Lol.  19.   Scott got 3... 3 runs from Scott.

" when the situation dictates ????    How about the situation where you run it 9 yards,  and instead of passing twice to get the one yard, maybe you run it again?  Or, you run it 11 yards... in first play of the drive... instead of passing where protection breaks down,  then Hurts trick play for a loss, then a pass on 3rd down... how about we run it right after getting 11 yards.

Today was PERFECT example of pass happy / rocket sciencentist Doug making the play calling harder than needed.  See how the Giants kept running the ball... the little **** slap in the face that constantly hits it's mark... you keep doing that when it works, you save the right hook when you need it.

The offense has no overall theme.  Doesn't seem like they are trying to establish anything? Passing deep, middle, short, ...take advantage of a matchup  .. establish the run? Nothing , no theme.   Give the QB and the pedestrian supporting cast something to follow.  Doug is all over the place.

So you are telling me that Wentz can’t check into a running play on ANY play? I don’t buy it.  Not for a second. He’s THE franchise QB. PED trusts him entirely. He has tied his career here to him. Wentz can check to a run. Or how many called runs did Wentz audible out of? You and I have no idea. To blame ONLY Ped is irresponsible on our part. We are not part of the huddle/discussions.

Look, I get it. I am a big Wentz fan, but his PLAY has been below average most games. He is the reason the team is losing. He needs to be the reason they win. 0 for 9 on third downs is NOT 100% on the play calling. No chance.
Maybe we agree more than we both recognize here, but blaming the coaches for bad play is not ok in my mind. Could the play calling be better? Absolutely! But it is something that I think many coaches overthink and get cute! Cute results into stupid real fast!

I’d like to see more of a short passing game with some innovation....lots of motion....screw with the defensive player’s minds. Brady and Manning thrived on the short passing game. Wes Welker and Julian Edelman usually get/got targeted 10x a game vs Ward with 2 or 3 targets a game.

Joemas, what would you like to see from the offense?

I’m not experienced in coaching on the defensive side of the ball, but i do hate the passive demeanor from Schwartz D. Rarely are the Eagles defenders in the opponents backfield. To me, from an offensive perspective, there is nothing worse than having defenders in the backfield screwing up the plays.

Yeah he can check into a running play. Like one play... he can't check into all the different ones they have. Usually one check play ..on the kill kill kill call.

The coach needs to call runs. He is the coach,  he is in charge. He sees what is going on.  The QB shoukd always want to pass... I'd prefer my QB check out if a run into a pass, not the other way around.   The tweet from Dan O was on the money, pretty much what everyone was complaining about locally as Doug got away from the run.

If your QB is the one who has to check from a called pass play into a run play... not sure you have the right play caller.

BTW, for the bashers and naysayers, the number one rookie WR in production is my boy JJ (pats self on back). A draft miss at 1 and 2. But what do I know. I hope Reagor pans out

Worried about Foles and his injury....hoping it’s nothing too serious

He's being asked to do something he just can't do. This team consistently sets players up to fail.

So there are 8 guys worse?

What a shame for him, he can't go a season without getting injured.

It was looking like he was about to be benched with this his last game as the starter...maybe ever

That was tough to watch. Brees also out now. Interesting to see if Sean got Jameis settled down and not be the hot/cold guy he was in TB

Bears in a tough spot with Trubisky out as well. Sometimes though the rooks can shock you

Brees suffered broken ribs and a collapsed lung. Not that I wanted to see anything like that but...I did just mention how quickly things can change.

We will see if coaching makes a difference.    Or if not having to play from behind so much.    I think Payton is the best offensive mind in the league, if not he is up there, and absolutely my favorite of the last couple of decades.     Walsh and Gibbs were my guys when I was younger.

Zach Ertz being activated to practice. Craig James on IR

Foles has had the oddest career I've ever seen.     Eagles, Rams, KC, Eagles, Jag, Bears... gets injured every where and can't establish himself as a starter... yet does excellent as a backup for a short period.   Excellent intangibles, I think if he had the ability to escape pressure it would have been the game changer for him.    Avoiding injuries and probably would have never been traded out of Philly... certainly not for Bradford, even more of a statue.

Perfect timing.... right after the the other TEs probably had their best games of the season... lol.   Gotta mix it all up and take away reps from other guys... keep the offense in a state of flux, why not???

Love Sean. he's had some...well let's say BAD calls go against him in games and he just keeps coming. Noone in TB said Winston could not play. That was never an issue.it was his on/off switch. I was all for them dumping Winston because of his inconsistent play ,not his lack of ability. We can see what a consistent guy has done for them. If Sean has him dialed in and calm and consistent,he should be able to pick up where Brees left off. I also love Taysom Hill. He's a BLAST to watch. He can do ANYTHING

I hope he can get back in time. I feel they will go to the playoffs and do well. Be nice to see Brees get one more ring. His age has to hurt his ability to heal. Seems these QB's are lasting much longer now. Maybe Favre and Manning can make comebacks HAHA

Yeah, I was hoping he would be better. He's not a bad player, he just needs a top O line. VIkes just overpowered them and that pass was 2 inches too far or they could have won. That Bears O line looks really awful

IDK, IMO this is a catch 22 for Ertz(and us). If he continues to lay down garbage stats, he will be tough to trade, if that is the plan. But he needs to play if we want any hope of trading him at ALL. IDK,this team is in such disarray, it's hard to know where to begin

It's funny... you could mirror this post about someone else.   Never seems to hit home though.   Glass always 4/10 full with one and 4/10 empty with the other guy.

I think Rosie already blew this. He had offers. Two were confirmed. I think he just gets dropped now. Just absorb No Mas favorite dead money(you know because of all the savings LOL).

DeAndre Baker charges were dropped for armed robbery. The plaintiffs were trying to extort money out of him. So he’s available.
