My bad, we're at home Thurs vs Minn, off to TB wk 3

Oops..316 yards for Jones

Yeah Joemas, we looked bad and would have lost except for NE penalties. NE D is really good, we knew that going in. Their O surprised me and I live up here - like an hour from Foxboro. All I heard was a lack of confidence from them. Better team than expected

I guess Jones didn't need help from the running game nor 2 pro bowl WRs... the stud OL.. a bunch of YAC etc.   He just played well on his own.

Didn't need training wheels or to the scheme.  Or whatever excuse you don't make for a $250 million player.

As BG points out ...it's week 1.  Looking good now doesn't really matter...just get the win.  You want to look good towards the end of the year.

One thing for sure...huge upgrade physically without having to make up for Hargrave's lack of run D.

Williams looked good... Cox with less work playing next to the Georgia studs.

And another fumble in a critical spot

Crap, colinsworthless again

Yeah, Minn comes to Philly Thurs, TB is the game after that - I screwed up earlier

The only ways off the cape beside boat or plane are 2 bridges. 1 was shut down earlier cause the entrance was flooded. 1st time I've heard of that and they had even more rain in Foxboro

Good tough game to open the season.

Oh man, can't believe a bad snap then a blocked FG for a dullass TD the other way

Our ST's weren't the train wreck I expected.

The whole O looked shaky. From Hurts to the O line.

Hopefully this game will get them together. In the other hands maybe the Pats are gonna be good.

My observation: the Eagles played to not lose, instead of playing to win. Not inspiring football. What do you all think?

Pats will make teams earn it. They are better than I expected.

The first thing to me that comes to mind when playing not to lose....is lack of confidence in the QB.

But that's why I liked going for it when only 3 yards were needed.   $250mil needs to make that play.  Otherwise no need to pay him to ride a bike that has training wheels.

The one bright spot of this game Carter looks ready for the NFL was flashing all night

I’m not to worried about Hurts and the offensive or the play calling think it will get hashed out was concerned for this game just because so many teams looked terrible to start the season on offense and we were no better just dreadful

Hello Senhor, long time. How've you been?

You're the 1st person to mention about us playing not to lose, and you're correct.

Carter did look good. Goedert nothing on 1 target that I remember. Swift 1 carry for 3 yds, 1/2 receiving no gain, Scott 1 carry for 3, 1 reception on 1 target for 7 - well below my expectations. Hurts missed on a lot of open players

Giants afraid to throw the red flag, that INT hit the ground
