Hurts was sacked three times, had a 89.2 rating, and rushed for 37 yards on 9 yards. Hurts had a fumble deep in Eagles territory, but the defense was able to hold.

I posted before the game I thought it was beyond stupid we didn't dress Penny for a rain game. That's like WHY you signed him

So yea I do think Hurts contract even now factors in to who we can get unless you just wanted the cheap 1 year option but not many guys want that deal 

6 mil cap hit really does explain, like you said, how we are soooo limited fielding a complete team. That 6 mil out of what? 225 mil. No room left once you subtract 6 from 225. Crippling monetary weight invested in the starting QB this year. Hopefully can just cobble together a few wins.

I agree with Ham...I don't want Gainwell or any other " work horse" RB.  Use the committee...it's a passing league.    Nobody should get double digit carries on this team unless it's a blowout.

Might be best thing long term if Gainwell misses and Penny has to dress.  Clearly he needs to be one of the 3 to mix things up.  Scott.... no need to use him on offense.

Have what 3rd of that money on two OL and top 3 passing options that hurts couldn’t hit…. But idk thought that’s the usual priority for a team with the QB locked up….

Just a bit curious here. An observation. Hurts has the same weapons he had last year,it's not like we changed out all his receivers,yet that is exactly how he played. Did anyone get ANY target from the slot spot? at ALL??? I personally did not see any. Since neither Swift nor Penny played what changed????
