I'm not good with that I WILL leave that to you guys. But I KNOW I'm not good at it and admit it

Btw...I'm not hating here...  but did I miss the " spectacular " plays?

Maybe thats why we used Gains so Hurts had someone familiar in week 1?

Just a bit curious here. An observation. Hurts has the same weapons he had last year,it's not like we changed out all his receivers, yet that is exactly how he played. Did anyone get ANY target from the slot spot? at ALL??? I personally did not see any. Since neither Swift nor Penny played what changed????

So Jurgens threw off the entire offense?

Crap stats don't win games NOR do they pay players with CRAP stats or are you simply blind? You rave on about Hurts STATS in the SB but ignore them when they don't fit your agenda

I rave more about Hurts intangibles and all he brings to the team that doesn’t show up in the stats. Are you going to deny this also?

I go out for lunch, come back and still see Ham in the water, going under the bridge, still flailing helplessly trying to save a dying point 🤣

I’m an excellent swimmer

https://theeagleswire.usatoday.com/lists/philadelphia-eagles-minnesota-vikings-keys-offense-jalen-hurts-shane-steichen/ Still believe we were holding Swift and Penny out for this game. Thursday I agree we need the long slow drives. JJ is going to have a good day,we need to keep him off the field as this article says. Goedert will be a key weapon IF Hurts can see him

He hid them vs the Pats,he needs to dust those off pronto. Didn't run,his bread an butter, looked lost and inefficient

Even great swimmers die after flailing so long

Gainwell, the starting running back, received six carries on the opening drive of the game. But the third-year pro carried the ball just eight times the rest of the game,

mind you 4 of those 8 carries came in the 1st half…. 1 of those Carrie’s was to just run out the half…. Man wish we could actually give the man an opportunity before crucifying him

In his first official game action since the Super Bowl loss, Hurts was 22 of 33 pasing, for 170 yards and a touchdown.

Hurts was sacked three times, had a 89.2 rating, and rushed for 37 yards on 9 yards. Hurts had a fumble deep in Eagles territory, but the defense was able to hold.

It wasn’t an MVP worthy contest, but he won, and essentially had his first preseason game.  From Eagles wire

This is a much more fair assessment of things. Almost 67% completion percentage. Heavy pressure allowed by the blocking. Bellicheat studying so hard all offseason have his team an upset chance. Wasn’t MVP performance from Hurts. Got the W learning on the job in what seemingly was PS experience.

So why do you keep saying Hurts had the best game in the SB when stats don't matter? of course they matter, that's why we paid him

Pedestrian at best. Defense won the game, the O floundered

D made some big plays. They did allow that easy scoring drove by Mac at the end to make things interesting however. Having a two score lead I can understand Desai getting too conservative in that situation. Chalk it up to a valuable lesson.

Hurts is still learning on the job??? NO, he can improve but if the learning curve isn't down after last year he's not going to get better. We will lose if he can't hit wide open guys

I just want you to hold Jalen Hurts to the same standards as everyone else stop with all the excuses for him and point out the bad.

Im fine he had a bad game as I’ve stated numerous times think he will rebound but blaming everything and one around him is getting old

Not hating at all just reality who do you go out in sign on a short term deal l? Hurts is 6m this year that 13 next year then 22m that spikes to like 30+m after…. And you still have other guys you need to extend in that span as well.

So yea I do think Hurts contract even now factors in to who we can get unless you just wanted the cheap 1 year option but not many guys want that deal

6 mil, then 13 followed by 22 ….oh noooo…such crippling cap hits from our leader. Can only field 10 players on the field at a time with those insurmountable cap figures.

False in this statement though,he(Hurts) didn't win the defense did, we won in SPITE of the poor play

And the salary cap

Yep that 6 mil cap hit from Hurts has a strangle hold on our ability to field a team. How dare I expect a decent RB room with our leader gouging us for 6 mil against our cap this year.

Now,after a "practice game" I expect to see the Hurts we paid for Thursday

Jerry Jones and John Lynch did a great job of signing Hurts with these cap hits.

Because we don’t field the best OL in football for hurts? Not paying what 25m+ on top 3 player makers for Hurts? Think Lane and Kelce alone are like 25m? Not giving Hurts one of the better D units which is surprising a huge factor for teams that consistently win look at Brady D units throughout his career?

But your right should be spending 15m on a RB that why our entire team sucks completely falling apart because we don’t have a RB

It's week 1... it's why we are all giving our team...including your boy....a pass.  KC, Cincy and Buffalo lost.....what do you think about their chances of one of them winning the AFC?

Right..explain why SF or Dallas hasn't had our success?

Dallas? One answer…HC. Niners? 3 out of 4 years NFC Championship game…at least. This year? Both look better than us currently sadly.

To get off this hamster wheel..

Jason Peters just signed with Seattle earlier today...  gotta pay those debts.

Who had better success ...Eagles or 49ers?  Simple question.
