Oh c'mon! You both agree to the same argument! We've let guys go who do well elsewhere. We've kept guys who suck and yeah - we've hit on a few. Heck, we've taken guys who kinda sucked, tossed them and they've done well elsewhere! The proof's in the pudding - we need better talent evaluation

You bet, and people that can develop them. Or if they "peak" people that can say "ok this ain't gong any further" and cut bait. I said earlier, this would be my number one thing this off season,to get those people in here. I would "overpay" them a bit if I had to because the end result is I pay BIG WAGE people LESS

I go to the grocery store all the time, why do you have people shop for you? Thats insanity lol. I will be having Thanksgiving with my family as I always have and always will, and will also have CHRISTMAS dinner. I constantly donate to veterans all throughout the year, not just on holidays

My Deb and Robin were laid off at the same time from a nursing home. Both are professionals. My Deb had a serious accident that leaves her compromised, which means I can't compromise her by going out. Robin is young and healthy, she's also doing this for a living. I told her several times I felt guilty sending her in harms way. She told me not to feel that way, it's how she's putting food on the table and paying the bills. That and she really likes my veggie lasagna. She's a pro, a nurse actually, but they're both laid off from a nursing home that had 96 cases in the 1st few mos of the debacle. I also told Robin she's only allowed to shop for us during the 6 am senior hours, when only seniors are allowed and everything's been cleaned. We also live in a mask required area, outside your home maskless is a $300 fine.  Yeah, we take this seriously and take care of each other, that's why we have a less than 1% infection rate, actually less than .5. Still I will not risk Deb's health. Mail sits out in a bin for a day. Nothing comes in this house that's not disinfected - groceries, mail - nothing! I care about Deb, that's what love is.

OK,sorry about all that. I thought you were paying them because you were afraid to go. I apologize, I did not know the back story.Masks don't work, there is no evidence they do(check the long study just released from Denmark) unless they are 95's,and those should not be worn constantly. There is a 99.98% recovery rate even if you get it. Thats like locking down because you fear being struck by lightning on a cloudy day(actually your chances are higher of dying from that ). But I'm not going to argue this, I will not wear a mask unless I feel it's necessary (I do in some places like the drug store, and doctors offices which I have always done, for years, because there are SICK people there)

Um yeah, masks do work! Avg masks can prevent 80% of transmission - mine are 95%. Combine that with an %80 accession by the other mask wearing person not receiving - well duh! All I can do is supply the science, Unbelievers just make this thing worse. Could have been handled back in March. A lot of my friends would be working, still in business. It's people who won't believe in the science that have made this thing drone on, killed people and their deaths are on them  - and they won't take responsibility - mass murder by proxy. Can't refute science - it's proven. Not trusting the science is a choice, a very uneducated one.

DO you really believe what you wrote? OMFG! - we are so f'n lost if you do.  Please tell me you're joking! That's truly sad, disheartening and will only make this last longer.

BTW - a vaccine is not a cure and I really don't want to know where your recovery numbers come from - Mad Magazine but they're defunct. The Heritage Foundation?

Andrews is a RZ threat. Thats all they needed him to be. Ertz would give them the TE play between the 20's. I assume that's why they were looking

IDK, Andrews was targetted between teh 20s in the pouring rain on Sunday.   I think they are fine there, and that other dude ain't bad either.

I don't know where they are getting that he struggled. On the tape it is pretty clear where the pressure came from and who got beat, and it was generally some combination of Kelce/Pryor. And while I don't put a lot of stock in PFF ratings, he did grade out pretty well. Sometimes those ratings are off, but in this case I think the tape matched what was happening on the field.

There was a play when Wentz tripped over him on a key third and one, but it's hard to know if he was at fault or it if was Wentz. But if it was his fault, it's hardly a capital offense for a guy playing in his second game.

IDK... the line seems to let guys leak by all the time this year.... yet " everyone grades out well all the time"    ???    It is what it is, expectations are low when you go 12 and 13 deep on your line.  Playing well... " for his second game"   ... I have a buddy that always says.." you look good... for your age"     It's what it seems like all the compliments and grades for our OL are about now... we expect brutal and they play bad, so it's ok.      However the grading system is, we need to fix the OL UNIT.   The 5 seem to all take turns either messing up individually or communicating.   Those plays add up during a game.

Personally, it's why I want to see more running and then playaction or rollouts built off of the run plays.    We had the opportunity to do that , like we did in the 3rd Q.   It makes the game easier... more time for WRs to get open, puts Wentz further from the line and needs to be chased down, more time and more room to make throws.

Just feel w/ Covid this season already has an * on it. Feel it was a prime opportunity for a partial rebuild - then we did nothing but lose to the gnats. Schedules don't mesh - gnats win. Not where my heart is, sure where my $ is. Then again, bet against Ne last week, only lost on that and Buffalo. No such thing as almost perfect. Would like the natural low picks instead of trading for them.

IDK... I mean... what is a rebuild?    They year you play a lot of young players?    It's pretty much what we are doing.   We are doing it while absolutely trying to win games though, so its actually working out a little bit ... but the mindset is still win now, that's why we are negative.

Plus I think the idea of us winning the division with like 5 or 6 wins is annoying.   Drops us in the draft and gets the harder schedule...etc.  But if we do not win the division, I hope that some team actually gets to 7 or 8 wins... I just don't see it though.  Who knows?

I also think there is a major flaw in the philosophy regarding positions.    I get the hierarchy ... you get the QB and you build on the lines.    But I've said for like 2 decades now, the Eagles go to far to the extreme on this.    they would pass on Ray Lewis or Ronnie Lott for Todd Herrimans.    Gotta stop that kind of stuff, don't make it rocket science.   Take the best guy there and move on.   This keeps leading to having to chase a replacement in free agency.   Then it's at a position you don't want to pay, so you end up with a bargain free agent, and it doesn't work, rinse repeat ...and see where our back 7 has been for a while now?    2017 the exception when the LBs were all here ... Andy drafted Kendricks, Chip drafted Hicks, then Schwartz brought in  Bradham.    But it took 3 different coaches to get each on in here, finally got a good group, then it doesn't last.      We got lucky with our secondary early in Andy's tenure.... Dawkins, Vincent and Taylor held the fort down being they were all around the same age... so no need to address secondary for years.    They get a nice draft in 2002, extends the CB good play for a while... then we spend on Asante, lasts for a little longer... then boom... decade of not much.

Are they good at selecting OL?     Basically 20 years of 4 guys playing OT.  Thomas and Peters at LT for over 2 decades.... Runyan and Lane since 2000 with a 4 or 5 year gap in between.   Is that lucky to have those guys be hits and then you don't have to address the position, until Dillard????  IDK.   looking forward, do we have any solid units to look forward too?   Reagor and Fulgham seem to be the best possibility, but still major ???

Yeah,he was a nice surprise for them. Ertz would be just an additional target for Jackson. I have Andrews as a TE in fantasy(got my TE too late lol). He let me down the past few weeks lol

If a vaccine is not a cure what is????  Locking down until you are 120 years old? Please. Nope,no thanks

Yeah I'm with you on this. A guy can miss a play or 2 and still grade out well. If every guy on the line makes 2 crap plays, they still grade out well, but we get 10 sacks, so it can be deceiving lol

At playoff time ,everyone is 0-0. Just get there first. So, we are 1 and done in the playoffs. Still nice to hang the banner at the Linc

It probably was the right call for the reasons you mentioned. When we drafted him it was under the assumption he would be down a year and maybe a few games. But the re-injury happened. I just don't understand that when they leave, not many get injured on their new teams. The is sad and scary to me. Then we get Djax, who is always injured when he is HERE.(not sure if he was injured anywhere else?)

I mean yeah I do find it very strange that we seem to suffer more injuries than most other teams. Not sure what they can do though? I mean is it the conditioning of the players?

‘58 and NC....I don’t think I’m with either of your thoughts on this COVID situation. NC your ‘recovery‘ rates are more the fatality rates. But people are having long term issues that don’t go away even after they have  ‘recovered.’ Just because you don’t die doesn’t mean you come out of it the way you went in. It’s putting some people in the retirement home because the effects take away their freedom of living at home. It’s not just older people either. I know someone in their forties that had to get a pacemaker after their ‘recovery.’ But to the mask point: I see people wearing masks like never before. Yet the numbers are skyrocketing. So clearly the masks aren’t working. Do you really think we are having record setting numbers all because people aren’t wearing masks? Everywhere I go everybody is wearing a mask. So I call BS on that so called science.

I think is where you debate bringing back Peters. Should you just be rolling with the Mailata’s of the team?

It seems like it’s conditioning, maybe diet and a big one is the misdiagnosis and mismanagement of injuries. I mean, Lane  missed the last four games of LAST season with his injury. Then had surgery during TC this year. Still dealing with it. That’s just a missed diagnosis. Probably even lead to him injuring his knee. I have no proof the ankle lead to the knee....but these things can lead to such problems.

Yeah, F that! If I want to go on a bike ride I shouldn’t have to wear a freakin mask. I put one on to go in stores. But telling me I have to wear a mask while riding in a car by myself....that’s just stupid.

I think we need to check out everything. How long has it been since the turf was changed at the Linc? Alot of injuries happen with inferior turf(ankles and what have you). It just seems we suffer more than most, and we need to figure this out pronto

No 99.98% is not the fatality rate, and I will take a shot here that you don't come out the way you went in for auto accidents, lightning strikes, cancer or name any other issue. Life is fluid, noone stays the same. As you age you will find that out in a hurry. But the fear mongering over this "flu" is unprecedented. Did you still have your required masks left from H1N1? Did you shut down your life for mad cow? Noone I know did. So for me,if I am high risk and I feel a mask is needed in my PRESENT surroundings, I will wear one, otherwise noone in my life including govt, no ESPECIALLY govt can tell me how to live my life. I didn't fight commies all over the world, so they could lecture me here at home. They can PISS OFF. And while early on we lost some, because we didn't know anything about it(yes I wore a mask for the initial 6-7 week lockdown), but now we know, and we also know hospitals get paid 13k more per death if it's listed as covid. So jump off a 10 story building, but if you test positive, that's a "covid death". Please, the insanity is running amok. For some, such as 58's wife,I would wear one, because of the fragility of the body and lowered tolerance levels of the immune system and any effort helps. For others, this is not a big deal. The regular flu annually claims more lives, but we never panicked over that did we? So,for some masks should be worn, but I don;'t think a mandatory order for everyone is needed and I will not follow it. I have slight COPD and they make breathing difficult for me. So, to each his own, but I am adult and I have survived 64 years by making decisions for myself and I'm not stopping that now. peace
