As we get into the season.... the passing game will need to step up.   For now....just win baby.

I mean....they were missing 2 starters vs a top group of WRs.    

Let's be realistic....backups are not going to perform well vs very good starters.   It's just not going to happen.

Cousins throwing for 364 yds isn't bad?

At least our run D held up. Great game by Swift. Penny looked like he held the ball a bit loosely - may be why we don't see him more. OL did a good job opening lanes, Hurts' protection not good enough. There were times in the 1st half he should have handed it off, must have gotten a talking to then the run game took off.

The main good takeaway i have from this game is the coaches saw that the Vikes were dropping 8 into coverage and they decided to run the ball down their throats. With that O line it should be happening more often.

I'll take a boring win over an exiting loss every time.

On another note this is the second time Brown has whined when he doesn't get the ball. Something to keep your eye on.

We had games like that last yr when we couldn't get the passing game going, had to run then take our shot once we drew their secondary in. Still don't think our OC is NFL ready. The video peeps were horrendous, constantly using tight shots that didn't allow us to see the coverage or what was developing down field. Saw some slant and goes, mostly on replay. Were there crossing patterns, etc? Did not see Goedert up the middle that I can recall.

IDK I saw 1 play from behind Hurts that showed a guy waving in the middle of the field and I guess Hurts didn't see him?. I asked in game who it was,but as 58 pointed out fuzzy and not far enough out vid wise to tell

With Bu's on a short week? Slay can't do it all alone. They got the stops when they counted. Some nice bataways at the GL. Even so,Slay didn't shut down JJ like he did last year,so alot of yardage there. But they held up enough to win,now 10 days to get the starters back in

O line was fair, I expected better. They were getting beat early in the game. Swift was bouncing off potential tackles and adding needed YPC,so some nice running by him

Killed me in fantasy. Smith just got open more this game,that changes week to week,surprised AJ doesn't understand that yet. Maybe he wasn't open much. As 58 pointed out the vid work was too awful to tell

Remember you posting just after that play. May have been Goedert. It was too late as Hurts was already running, their D was actually moving to cut Hurts off

Going to be a long one, got a call at 3 am to help a buddy pull his boat out - augh! It's pretty much a rule up here you have to go, that and when there's stranded wildlife - dolphins, turtles etc

My next outing to the "bah" will be on him

That's a given lol. I remember tying off my boat in FL standing on the aluminum lift rails in 85 MPH wind-FUN!!!! Trying to tie off better while swaying in the breeze
