Good solid RB. I know you were smart and got him on your fantasy bench. A few more games and there will be no choice but to let him lead. I'll trade them one of our RB's for Jeremy Chinn 🤣

BTW I have him as RB 2 in 2 leagues,I need to make a change real soon LOL. Already benched him in 1 and put in Mostert who had a monster game

But gotta self scout and improve many areas crucially needing to be fixed.

Don’t think the players are doing all that bad seems more the lack of creativity in our play designs atleast for the passing attack.

Not sure what you are judging this on? Just this season with the panthers? First game he was decent…but they got way behind. Like three scores. You can’t keep trying to force a rushing attack down three scores. Context matters here. They have a rookie QB nowhere close to looking like he’s ready. Then they played the Saints week two. If you don’t have respect for the Saints D? Nothing I could say would convince you to consider anything different anyway. It’s looking like it will be a tough haul in Charlotte for awhile. Just no version any D isn’t going to stack the box. Run blitz and attack Bryce if he tries to pass instead. He isn’t ready. So clear to attack him and rack up the sacks. Why would any D sit back in any Cloud…Cover 3….or any Deep coverage? Not even worrying about needing to double anybody. You could maybe blame their Oline …but not so sure they are the real cause of problems. Looking like one of the easiest O to defend league wide. Think you aren’t considering much context to judge Sanders on their whole team situation. I’m curious as to what RB you are saying would be achieving so much more than Sanders…in the Charlotte situation so far? Down multiple scores week one…which RB is the coach sticking with the ground game? Forming an educated opinion…what RB is dicing up the Saints with no reason for such a talented D to not stack the box and attack every single play? Nothing to point towards Sanders being fantastic these first two games, clearly. That case can’t be made. But I’m very curious as to what would make you expect him to have produced anything more these first two games?

Judging on his career thus far…average, not bad, not great. Good player but not worth the price.

Who are the three RB ahead of him in Indy…actually on their roster? I have some fairly strong knowledge of NFL players league wide, not just Eagles. But don’t know much at all about their three RBs. Just know Irsay is rich and egocentric enough …he’s going to show Taylor…regardless of what’s good for the franchise. But Sermon making a PS …good for him. The fact he cleared waivers showed we didn’t need to waste that roster spot all of last season. The point he didn’t need protection should have already been fairly clear just based on we were like 20th in the waiver order to have got him on the first place. Niners that released him…were after 20. So only left 11 possibilities even to begin with.

But Sermon reuniting with Steichen hopefully gets his career moving. Wish him well.

Price wasn’t really very much. But can respect your opinion being based on more than just the two games in Charlotte so far.  I don’t consider him one of the best RBs in the league either. He has clear flaws. But is dynamic and has the burst to make sone plays. Around 800 rushing yards his first three seasons rushing playing in 11 games in each. Over 500 receiving his rookie season before Siri arrived taking that roll away from him. Pro Bowl season kicking butt last season. Pretty darn good RB to me. Sanders with Swift and we really would have put together a backfield for this season. But didn’t have to be Sanders.  He specifically would have been  complimented by Swift nice though. Both players I see as playmakers. But question each on the durability front. My thoughts have been steady though on wanting the two good back tandem. Sanders situational awareness and some details bother me though. Just a bit too boneheaded of a player. I don’t see his price tag as really being so high dollar though. Much of what they are using against RBs value after their rookie contracts end …is being used up accumulating so many carries. That’s where Sanders almost is completely opposite from the norm. He only had the one year of usage in college…nothing near the over usage abuse many top RBs come to the NFL with. Then with us was used sparingly enough. Felt like we purposely were not abusing his usage looking at the option of retaining him for a much longer haul. Siri was always against him though. Is what it is.

Six mil for a starting NFL player though? I just don’t see that as any big money.

6m makes Sanders the 11th highest paid RB… so no 6m might not be a ton it is pretty high for a RB in todays nfl

The only one that done anything for Indy is Zach Moss… Deon Jackson was dreadful in the 1st game of the season. Jake Funk is the 3rd guy hasn’t done much either

The fact you still being this up is more alarming… Real fact is spot 53 on our roster wasn’t changing the season outcome it’s that simple.

Just an awful signing...similar to Hargrave... just way overpaid

I blame Ward .... we wasted a spot on him all season, instead we would have signed and dressed the difference maker in the Superbowl.

Because he has the lowest tread usage on his tires. 6 mil isn’t much for a starter in the NFL.

About the same as Marcus Epps signed with the Raiders.

There is a reason his tires aren't used that much.

But let me ask... what is he being saved for??? Why does he continue to be taken off the field on key plays for guys like Gainwell and Hubbard?
