But I’m 30 and I never really seen a dominate eagles rookie…. Like I’m trying to think but nobody is coming to mind…. Jordan Hicks maybe he came out strong but injuries obviously. Corey Simon maybe???? Djax???

I mean we have had some good players but they didn’t dominate as rooks

When I was a kid....LB Jerry Robinson.... S Randy Logan...  CB Roynell Young... WR Mike Quick

Then a little later....Jerome Brown, Keith Jackson and Eric Allen were all really good right away.

Recently probably Lane .. but he had his one awful game vs the Chiefs right away,  but dominated pretty much right away.

Hunt was picked up before the browns even signed him I give my guy that one…. I would have preferred ford but my waiver pick was behind the guy that got him…. Breida isn’t the worst consolation prize especially with Eleker questionable for me

I have good RB's but I will stash Hunt until we see how the usage shakes out. Breida was also on my bench,so not a real big deal, but think long term Hunt will be around longer as a fantasy option. But we don't know that yet.Ford looked good, but I'll take a chance on a bench rider for now

Yea lol 😂 im a young buck that’s why JJ is my favorite DC though a i known Joe not quite as high on him as me

I liked his scheming.....JJ had the secondary.... didn't benefit from the dominant front like the previous guys and the recent guys....so he was very creative and fun to watch.  Definitely the best for someone your age here.

BTW picked up nacua in 1 league and Atwell in the others. Once Kupp comes back(I don't have Kupp) it will either hurt or help, but still they can be good subs on bye weeks

I watched a few Toledo games. I have a friend whose grandson attends and they call him Bryant ROADBLOCK,so an interesting pick-up. He is a good stash, with no expectations of playing he can sit and learn. Penny being similar style should be a decent enough mentor for him. If he can't cut it,easy cut since not paying out like we were with Sermon

Thought JJ had the best blitz packages and obviously shaped my opinion on aggressive play calling a ton as well

I find myself quite often having to be like no the decision was correct take the points when I’m screaming at my tv go go for it

I want Jeremiah Trotter jr. in the next draft. I know Howie will buck history and listen to me 🤣. But he needs to. I work fairly cheaply. I suspect they lost my contact info since they haven't called me yet

He had to blitz...didn't have the dominant DL....I'm not as high on the Trent Cole and Hugh Douglas guys as most... probably due to who came before them.

If you can watch some of those games from 1991....that defense was fun to watch.   That dominant front 4, with Eric Allen and Seth Joyner behind them... you expected a turnover on every play.

I posted a vid about that '91 D. Awesome stuff

I'm thinking in time, this front can be as good!!!!

Actually once I post the bottle I got in,I got this because of the memory of that D. You'll understand when I post it(in 4-5 days) 😁

D Jax came out hot but had a big time blunder on I believe this would be his first (near) TD.

Great stuff... imo that team would have given Washington and Buffalo serious competition for the SB...even if just McMahon stayed healthy.  No doubt a healthy Randall puts them up there.

Howie gets the front line, but wish we could add the pieces of the puzzle this D had(LB),but as the vid said it was a "perfect storm"

Kyron Johnson back on the PS

Out of curiosity I guess do we have a jumbo DL package ? Just the 4 guys on the field are Carter, Davis, Cox, Milton?

Iggles champagne. Got in today. I had to go with the Kelly green

Been a busy  and rough day in Chicago. First Fields calls out the coaches(for the reason I stated before 😁 because I saw it for my own eyes), later he says "I'm not blaming the coaches" TOO late LOL. Then the DC up and resigns(for personal reasons)

https://www.footballguys.com/article/2023-reading-the-new-defense-philadelphia-eagles Forget the early fantasy stuff, the meat is later(as it should be) You can't have any pudding if ya don't eat your meat. It says June of this year so IDK why it's showing players from last year(like CJG) but it gives you an idea of the various sets we use most. about all that was out there info wise

Step son in law and wife in AZ sent me a lanyard which just happened to fit one of my dogs,so now it's a collar LOL
