Hargrave with that huge salary has 1/2 a sack more than Davis or Carter, but Hargrave laying more snaps.

Davis not a run stuffer any more. He and Carter have great speed for big guys.

 

Wonder how Reddicks' thumb's doing? He's nowhere near the player he was last season.

Any word on what happened to Dickenson?

That was the guy covering the WR.. he wasn't really open, Hurts basically threw him open.   Great patience making the 4th read and putting the throw past the cover guy and into the window  from the side angle you can see its not even close...here the ball is already past the defender.

A lucky throw is where help coverage is there and misses the play....this guy diving was the guy covering the WR the whole way... making a desperate attempt at the ball because he knew he was beat.    

That's not luck.  This is the whole question I had of Hurts.   Seeing the field,  making the throw....an NFL level throw...DOWNFIELD "  Right as he takes the hit.    There is nothing more difficult that having these elements all involved... late read, about to get hot, difficult throw in window... downfield. 

That's why I was annoyed at missing the wide open Goedert right there in front week 1.  

Lots of legit complaints... I'm going to avoid using an insulting word...but one would be pretty " special " not seeing this as a great play by the QB...all around with every element involved in the job.   Calling it luck...." that's special "

Eagles run D.... 48 rushes for 145 yards.

Yeah....Sanders and the Eagles opponents through 3 games.... 89 rushes for 284 yards

Swift half the carries... 24 more yards. 

Only ran out the final 9:22 on a stud run defense...on their field.

Going thru stuff about the game. All my complaining about Goedert not getting the ball up the middle. Turns out he was WIDE opena bunch of times, but Hurts was busy forcing it to AJ. Guess the squeeky wheel still gets the grease. Make the right play, not the one to your buddy. Just like Hurts should have run for the TD, wide open lane to his left but he had to try and get it to AJ that failed.

Just an interesting thought and likely would t happen but should the Eagles consider offering a late pick for a guy like Chase Young? Definitely could be on the block and injuries have really hampered him.

Am I missing something?  Why would Washington want to do either trade?
