You can't seriously believe we wouldn't have run the clock down to bring in Elliot?

You take Elliot 17 games ...to take a game winning kick at the buzzer.

Hopefully they learn from this... stats and points are not worth sacrificing wins.    Run the clock....keep their O off the field....win the game and eliminate possible injuries.

I hope Blankenship didn't break his wrist under McClauren foot near the sideline.

That shouldn't happen.

MANAGE THE BLEEPING CLOCK!

The possible positive spin on things is that hopefully these lessons are being learned while still picking up the W. Need them learned early. He’ll have to face our media grinding on him about the mistake pretty hard. Otherwise he really showing some good signs at things improving. Gotta be willing to take some lumps with a guys first time at the job. Undefeated and scoring plenty while learning on the job training is as good as it gets.
All as long as no injury occurred on the Wash final drive or OT.

Vegas spread was 8.5

Wjy are Redskins games always so damn close

Washington really plays us tough don’t they lol 😂 but we found a way to win

I have no clue neither do you. When you see a TD pass open you take it and count on your defense

Whew

So now we become Patsies fans

I know you are right….but can’t accept this mentality anyway. Rooting for Dallas to lose is the only way I can see things with these two involved. Makes a huge difference for me!

I’m not sure if Sam Howell is good or not but he is finding ways to help keep Washington in games right pieces(coaches) around him could become a problem in the division

D should have never allowed that last drive

It was a good game today. Got tested. Did Jurgens ever return? I didn’t notice.

Matchup wise? Their WR and TE are a problem for us. Could consider other guys at their positions league wide better. But they can give us problems across the board there.

Robinson the RB has really helped the ground game, they have always had some decent WRs, Thomas is solid at TE…. OL is meh and obviously with Ron and Del Rio the D unit is going to be solid

Tough game, 4-0 still looks good on my sheet

I just talking in general Washington has played well throughout the early part of the year…. Only real bad game was Bills last week and the bulls just made Miami look bad so

Opeta was in on the last drive

Can’t believe Riverboat Ron didn’t go for two in regulation. I was so sure they would. Never know what would have resulted. But hindsight now I’m so thankful he didn’t. Shocked he decided on OT against us(a highly favored team).

I was getting eerie thoughts of "the DRIVE" when I lived in Ohio LOL

Yeah….that game last week was so embarrassing. They have a pretty solid team. But specifically match up tough for us. Slay and Bradbury are big time players. But I’m not real confident with them against McLauren.

I sit corrected when I said Johnson should be sent to a high school, should have specified not a high school in PA - wouldn't wish him on them.

I’ve had this assumption that Desai would love to utilize three S looks. But our D is completely dependent on Blankenship. Only S option. Such a massive key when considering the LBs abilities also. Dean and Blankenship only guys that can keep such a giant gap from being exposed.

C’mon now. Huge critical mistake. But his first season at the job. Gotta give consideration for how he’s learning on the job and putting up the amount of points we have. Not like he’s struggling to the levels of making mistakes AND only putting up 10 points
