31 PPG wins games as long as(which you keep missing) your D doesnt ALLOW 31. IDK why you keep arguing it won't,but have at it

Game was full of exactly why stats just don’t tell the whole story. Like the block by OZ. Running out the clock to insure victory by scoring less points of 27.

You are driving...Washington just Allen their 2nd timeout 1:45 left.  2nd and 4 on the 28 yard line... you get the 4 yards....it's a 41 yard FG.   Chances are obviously that you can move the ball a few more yards closer on the next 3 -5 plays... but let's say it's just a 41 yard FG at the buzzer...  

Much closer than the one he made to win it in OT...but without all the extra plays ....the risk of losing or injury. 

Just a dumb decision that hopefully they learn from.

OK, 1:43 left on the clock in a tie game, we have the 2nd best rushing O in the league right behind Miami, one of the best OLs in the league and you don't run out the clock?

Still surprised Ron didn't go for 2 

Looked back and made sure. 2nd down with 1:49 left to play in regulation. So didn’t even need to gain a first down to have run out the clock and won.

Dude.... it was 24 to 24.   31 is the same as 7-0 at that point 

..it's a one score lead..the opponent can tie or win if you give them the ball.

When you kick a FG at the buzzer.... you can't lose.

Winning by 3 or 7 is irrelevant because it's one score.   Win the game by 3 and don't give them the ball.  Very easy strategy that nobody would disagree with.

Anyone here that agrees with going for the quick TD please speak up... so we can put this stupidity to bed. Finally after 2 years of hearing these complaints.

THIS GAME 27 points was the better decision.

The D should have never been on the field.  Howell's game was done...until we scored the TD to get 31. 

We can’t rely on all we did this game all season. Washington should have gone for the two point conversion. We couldn’t have answered. Elliot nailing those FG was absolutely critical. All of them. But a 54 yarder in OT? Wouldn’t fault him for not hitting that one. Or if the weather is in anyway less favorable. On and on….but a miss there practically gives away the game. Field position meant our D would have been relied on to completely shut them down.

We needed to get 4 yards..  then they call their last timeout... ball would be at worst on their 24.....for a 41 yard FG....three Tush pushes later....and kick a FG. What do you think.  38 yard FG at worst...at the buzzer.

You brought up the 31 PPG not me,and as I keep saying the D should not have allowed 31 to this team. Bills had NINE sacks last week

Tried to spin the clock management mistake turning positive in real time. Faith in the D could be relied on to seal the deal at the end. Whoa opposite result! Think it was a crucial blow to anybody in this whole organization having faith in the D coming up big again. Siri, Hurts….not to mention the D themselves. Tough blow to this season…even being undefeated still.

That's your opinion,obviously the OC took the TD and counted on the D to stop them(which they missed by ONE SECOND). Call the Linc and tell them they suck,please
