Weak attempt. I’ve said it over and over. Can’t just drop the ball. But Fields knew he’d be rolling that way. Guy was going to be left unblocked. Totally different when a LB at the line doesn’t get touched because Seumalo missed his assignment and blocked nobody. Big difference. G was supposed to block the LB for Hurts. Can’t presnap read Seumalo is going to flail for a second time in a row. Fields guy wasn’t ever supposed to be blocked. So presnap he should have recognized the issue. But then whatever the heck he did with the ball? I wouldn’t know. It was really goofy

You see the problem here?   It's not a win now mode with the Bears.   They have legit assets ...top level assets.  They can't play the middle with those, they need to build something.  

At least get a comp pick for losing Fields. But gives him one more big chance. High pick with tons of ability. Could be worth trying to figure out some way to get him playing well.

So,how much do we trust Opeta. He is the last RG we have

Shew did not play like Hurts and the offense was designed for Hurts. Hard to win when you have to alter the playbook. We lost,but he wasn't THAT bad,he was a square peg in a round hole. Not much of a team in Indy either. He is a BU QB,but he really never had a team for the long haul.So he will be relegated to BU duty.but you can make a nice living at that

I think we can win,but it will be an outside shot 34-24 Rams. Key once again is getting into Staffs face,we need to do it. Really like Hurts deep ball accuracy. Much better,but he needs to throw those mid passes,the 15 to 30's. We will need to do that to win IN MY OPINION

I would like to see Smith play in the slot some(or coming on a cross from outside). He's really good at it if you can catch him in stride over the middle(much like my boy JJ). Goedert down the middle also. Swift/Gains used in the passing game. They have dangerous WR's. We will be tested

Allen has been gifted a big time play making D. You chose poorly already on your second QB. The guy that never wins in OT or at the end. Turnovers in the clutch. Looked average before they acquired Diggs 

Allen puts up big time plays. Scores a bunch. But you haven’t watched much of Buffalo if you missed everything going for their team. S and LB. That even make plays. They some  how can afford it even though they can’t cap mastery as well as Backloader Rosie. Had good pieces come and go all around that team. Been a top five whole roster in the league for years now. Great coach.

That’s your second choice of a guy that carries his whole team with no other contributing players? Kind of love that you think this. Because I can’t disagree more. Best roster since he’s been there of any team in the league. Even afford S and LB some how. Just embarrassing numbers and play originally. Traded for Diggs that makes everything happen. Not many WR you can put in front of Diggs. Sick. Fast and catches everything usually creating huge space to easily complete passes too. Gets wide open when double teamed even. Quality Oline. Even though you don’t think anybody else is good and we are always the best. Got a good RB now. Had one before that they struggled with for some reason that didn’t last with him when he went elsewhere.

Second WR is captain of the team. Been developed. So not Pro Bowl..especially from day one. But heck of a second WR. Clearly brings the intangibles. 

You choosing Allen second highlights exactly what you miss watching football. He throws tons of yards and TDs. But that mostly is in the first three quarters. Does the opposite of what you should value: clutch. He isn’t clutch. I don’t believe he’s ever won in OT. Seriously…think he lost every time. That’s your boy? Seriously! Had the arguably best roster the whole time. What’s he accomplished with the best team around him every year? Allen is a picture of the flash and illusion of quality stud QB. Rather have less big play in the second quarter and him not throw an interception on the final game winning drive. I need to check the OT Winning percentage out. But how can your guy be the one that never is victorious in OT? Never? That’s your guy? All flash. Substance is lacking. Your guy can’t carry the best roster to win the SB. That’s your guy? Best roster…isn’t enough for him to bring home the parade. I’d look for a guy that could even pull it off with the fifth best roster. It’s frankly embarrassing he can’t win and finish in the big moments. Several times throws interceptions on what should be the game winning drive. Terrible! Can’t really even work with that guy in my book much. I’ll take less flash stats and arm. But gotta have a guy that is clutch and can handle the big moments. Need to win in OT. Need to take the team down at the end and score. Win the game. Not his main moments he turns the ball over. Great D the whole time. A game managing QB would have won a SB with them at least once.
