After the Jets we have our string of 6 tough games(because the wuss always play us well). I can't expect to win them all,but getting through these will be the real test. Should see some good football here!!

Anyway just wanted to add I was very pleased with how the defense did. Not perfect, but they stopped the Rams passing game pretty well. I was worried most about that since they have good receivers. On to the Jets. I have a W beside this one. Not that I want to take any team lightly, but we should win this one. 5-0 looks really GOOD at the moment

The D pitched a 2nd half shut-out. I can live with that.

Fins WR Achane out several weeks w/ knee

Sorry, RB

We get to see "old friend"  Mostert, have to give him a warm Philly welcome.

Watching Kupp this weekend and that dude is something else no clue why the Rams went away from him he is damn near unguardable

Wonder if his conditioning didn’t become a bit of a factor? First game back. They really tasked him early.

Desai adapted to try and eliminate the inside stuff in the second half. Went from Ricks and Goodrich…to even a LB…think it was Morrow once or twice left in that role first half. Never going to be a successful solution. Most teams will target and easily take advantage of such easy predictable matchups inside against us.

Didn’t find Kupp’s game targets number easily. He did have six just in the opening drive alone. So he clearly was targeted plenty in his initial return from his hamstring injury. He was injured before that also remember. So he hasn’t played significant snaps before this game in a very very long time.

Could you have understated Desai completely shutting down Sean McVay in the second half any more? Arguably top O mind in football. First year Desai just trying to scrap together something enough for him to call his D. Adjusted and shut McVay down…with all his O weapons at his disposal.

After Washington drive right down on our D….this was a huge vote of confidence moment for Desai.

About to play some real meat of the schedule tests coming on now. It’s difficult for us outsiders to really know if the players are behind any new coordinator. He’s short some talent. So has that excuse built in. Rams we’re looking so good on O too. Clearly a huge day Desai put together to stomp out a hot O. Better O teams can have off days and such. But Rams came out firing on us. Coaches clearly answered that hot offense right in the thick of the game and need.

You bet, I'm lovin' this D!!!

Was thinking the mistakes against Washington might have forced facing the D just can’t be relied on at the end. Looked pretty grim giving up the late drive to Howell so easily. But can’t think of an O to shut down being really more impressive than Desai accomplishing what he did in McVay’s home even. Gives me a shot of there could be a real chance our DC could actually be ready for the big boys.

I just don’t see Desai having enough personnel. Can only accomplish but so much if limited so extreme up the middle like this D is.

Looking to get Dean back here. Clearly been seeing him as the main difference maker at the second level of the D.

Maddox we’ve all wanted to succeed so bad. But just never really has worked out. Out of position to start. But his durability just hasn’t been near rewarding enough.

Roby is a clear piece that was needed. Can’t be light at LB, S and in the slot.

Any …really any pro O should easily be able to take advantage of a massive opening up the whole middle.

Sydney Brown should be getting back in here soon also. Evans as well. Two S and our main mobile versatile LB…with a capable Slot CB should close down that gaping confidence building hole in our pass D for our opponents.

So in other words he adapted to the situation.

A refreshing change from last year

Think we have to give props to the guys up in the booth, they're the ones studying the in game trends and come up with solutions.

Kelce really blew up about the O, should see some improvement there this week.

Roby made the difference....was a great segment Jason Avant does on CSN .... showing the difference in communication from Goodrich and Roby.

On the 1st half TD...Bradley was calling for a switch,Goodrich didn't acknowledge and caused the mix up in coverage leaving Bradley to have to cover 2 guys.     2nd half, same motion and Roby signaled to Bradley the switch...then covered Kupp to force the incomplete pass.

I don't think it's coincidence....again, not discounting " genius strategy" ... but players absolutely are the main factor.
