Did Jalen Carter get hurt at practice yesterday? Ankle injury after full practice yesterday. Sure hope he’s just getting a breather like the vets get. 

This injury has me worried. Felt like just last season right when Davis worked his way in to things fully he got injured. They muffed his recovery and he never returned effective again last season. Carter injury feels like one they keep close to the vest here. Carter being significantly injured is a big deal already. I’ll try not to over think this injury.

Really don't know why with all the Spring leagues and the CFL why we haven't found a P. Maybe they do want a revolving door there to keep an extra player. P is more important than we treat them. Imagine us with a guy who has great hang time to pin opponents inside their 5 yd line.

Logic is just telling me that there is just a shortage of quality punters

Man, keep looking at the trade deadline and really wanting Budda Baker. Is he just a money guy? What would he give up to play for a shot at the SB? Or would he or the Cards hold us over a barrel cause they all know what the addition would mean to our chances? Augh!!!

Talking heads predicting Broncos are going to have a fire sale, Kareem Jackson would be nice depending on what they value him at.

This is mostly about the red zone, but also about some player usage. Getting down the field hasn’t been a problem for the Eagles, only the Dolphins, on a historic pace to start the season, have more yardage. The Eagles have the fourth most trips to the red zone, but once they get there they grind to a halt. Last season they were 3rd best in scoring rate, this season the Eagles are 27th in red zone scoring, worse than the Giants. That’s inexcusably bad. One correction should be changing personnel usage. The Eagles have handed off the ball to a RB in the red zone 26 times, 13 each to Kenneth Gainwell and D’Andre Swift. 14 of them have failed to gain the Expected Points, and 10 of those were by Gainwell. Getting Gainwell the ball before the red zone is fine, D’Andre Swift is on pace to set a career high in touches in his 12th game this season, the Eagles have to manage his workload. But once in the red zone, the Eagles already have five great options in AJ Brown, Devonta Smith, Dallas Goedert, D’Andre Swift, and Jalen Hurts. Giving the 2nd string RB the ball is not the best use of the Eagles offense. Throwing a short pass to deep threat Quez Watkins on the Rams 15 yard line on 3rd and 2 is not the best use of the Eagles offense. The Eagles have the talent to dominate in the red zone, they need to lean on it more.

I keep seeing Chinn popping up - is he  anything more than a b/u? Budda and Jackson seem more like immediate improvements.

Because almost every other team is getting the guy instead of us. Logic first tells me that ST coach can’t see real P talent. Had to be somebody that could start bad and at least he developed.

Who else gets a pass in the NFL for three years on the basis of just wasn’t any quality player options to do better?

I’ll have you know that several P that are ahead of ours came into the league since Siri has been here. Just a helpful hint…in case you think about throwing your…,’logic’ out there again.

That’s not even accurate. How much you want to bet that a guy not employed in the NFL or behind 32 ranked P will step in and perform better in the future?
