There’s just nobody out there. Is a terrible logic when other teams got better guys during these three years he’s been here. Better P have been around. He just can’t see talent at the position for crap.

If you have a bad P…then why not switch to another guy? At least rotate until you accidentally stumble on to somebody.

Thinking both. He wants the respect acknowledging he’s the best. A stud player like him I’d assume would believe we need him to get it done. Just consider how much he’d transform our D. It would be massive!

Chinn is a very good tackler. We could use his enthusiasm,he loves to hit. One of the better players on the Carolina squad. Good nickle. Still young,would be a nice long term signing if we can do it

So, I assume sauce will be on AJ which means Smith should be a home run hit all game( and use Goedert like we did last week)

On the bright side of things Covey has the looks of that he’s grown and developed. If he can show some durability would be crucial. No reason he can’t show capable of being put in for any WR play. Am I getting too greedy here? Just need Covey to get out there and run those defenders wearing them down. I’d say be nice to see him do a screen or end around. Maybe catch a pass or two a game. Be nice. But receiving touches we aren’t shy of better targets lacking enough touches right now.

With both sides missing secondary pieces,should be a nice game to air it out. Get a lead, then sit back and pick them off(see Blankenship) while they are having nightmares with our passing game run Swift. if we do the play action fakes early,we will stymie them all game. If they try to cover both then Hurts takes off. They really have their hands full with us. Should be no reason whatsoever to struggle(famous last words). They have some pieces,but nothing we can't overcome. Breece is stoppable,they will need to beat us in the air and if they want any chance at all,they have to do this from the start. I read an interesting piece that we should use Gains more moving downfield and save Swift for the RZ. I kind of disagree a little. Maybe we can use him a little LESS,but he is our best RB. Playing at the same pace he would be on track for 78 total tackles. Less than his first 2 years but more than the last 2 FWIW

I’m really invested in these young DBs. Be so critical for this franchise to find a few that are serviceable.

Jobe already looks like he’s not far off. Screwed up that ending of Washington. But mostly otherwise showing tight coverage. QBs and WR have confidence in the matchup. So they still have been completing on him. But had to be good throws. I’ll take that.

Ricks feels more like the playmaker style CB. Not down on him. Not sure his first showing last week warranted more playing time just yet however.

How can I put this more clearly.  Who has been unearthed in the last 3 years at P?     Around the league?   Which teams are finding punters recently?

Again....which teams got better guys recently?   The teams already had better guys and the Eagles and a bunch of other teams missed out... that's different than why can't they find a guy now.    Or why has it been this way recently.  

It's a difference of 4 feet...in the rankings from 26-27 to the top 13 or 14.     The league has some bad punters at the moment.

I agree....keep switching to another bad punter.  If he was good, he wouldn't be available.   Correct,  I agree with that.  This is why we see a bunch of crap available at the position.
