The O that scored 35 points with the QB fumbling untouched...in their only meaningful loss in 2 years?

What else you need from the O coaches for more success?

Are you speaking of other coaches here man? Mainly making your point based so heavily on Steichen …when my point is based heavily on him being gone now. Man you aren’t noticing so much I really thought was obvious stuff here. Offensive coaching has changed this year. Biggest factor being it’s a new offense under a first time OC …first time playcalling. O hasn’t been terrible really or anything. But so far from cohesively gelled together. OC is learning on the job here. He has to figure out for himself how to put it all together here. Seeing …to me so blatantly specifically piece by piece…of him working through getting this puzzle together. I still consider him far from completing this task. Which is scary good to think about. But also just such an easy basic assumption that a seasoned top O mind would have this O much better…ughh more complete is probably more the point. Think a couple issues it appears he possibly missed in TC and offseason have to be overcome. Additional to just what a seasoned pro job he must overcome now.

What kind of message you send to Carter and the rest of the guys ( that you are trying to build culture) ...if you trade Cox now?

The reply to the Jets coach with the " we will have to kiss him 11 times"  ... the celebration during the Phillies win...has really put Cox in a great situation with the fanbase.

You really want to trade Cox...exactly now??   Couldn't pick a worse time.

Btw...are we trading him to a contender?  Because as per usual with your fantasy scenarios...why would a bad team want him right now?

5-0 with the coaches here now

BTW everyone in every fantasy league has now dumped Sanders on the waiver wire LMAO

Playing and leading well... 40% of the price of Hargrave.

Great mentor for the young guys,I mean who else is better to learn from than a pro bowler?

BTW the OSU game is on peacock, soon even college games will all be PPV

Yes, for Sanders,even trade 🤣

For a guy who talked about intangibles when the QB couldn't see the ocean or throw it in there the first year and a half...

How do you want to get rid of Cox and his leadership right now?  Not to mention he is playing extremely well.

" the contending window" why would you trade away who brings all this while we are within that window?

Your inconsistent ideas that come from left field are hilarious.   Let’s get rid of Kelce,  Lane and Graham too... lol

Love the first line HAHAHAHA

I had Hubbard in a few leagues...we shall see.

Sanders blows....Carolina a dumpster fire with the type of decisions they made like signing Sanders.

Carter is a better trade chip.

Why do we need a trade chip? We are 5-0 with a well stocked draft upcoming. I mean if you want a guy like Chinn we can part with Quez and a pick

He is in the whole culture of the city right now.... I wish you guys could be here now with how the city is on fire with the Phillies leading the charge.   Cox was out there dancing in the stands as they won the last series.

It's more than just Eagles culture... it's a Philly thing

Trade Cox so we can play Barnett....this is the logic???   🤦

I got him in 3/4,another guy already had him on his bench. They will definitely be looking at RB in the draft, maybe 2

Yeah not there to "feel it". I was in that position in SWFL when the Heat took the title(well they forced game 7 with the mavs). i was at the game(6) when the chair throwing began after the comeback win. Philly could use things to cheer about

IDK we're 5-0 heads need to roll, wholesale changes must be made. I was never a Barnett fan even on draft day. I know we keep bringing him back, but really he does the very minimum and I always thought we could do better. I would not miss him at all

We can save $1.5 mil of cap space this year by trading Cox.  3 mil over the next 2 years.

It's crucial because we only have $59 mil plus of cap space next year.

But... let's not forget if we trade Cox...and get another player...then that player also will count toward the cap.

So it could actually cost us money to trade Cox.

But this comes from someone who actually looks at the reality of things... I'm older now, I can't judge the ball anymore so I pitch and play infield... don't spend much time at all in left field!

So No Mas very curious how you see things have played out so far with our O. For me it’s been so heavily glimpsing a first time OC struggles and learning curve. Well…that is after game one where Siri forced Gainwell down everybodies throats as…the starter. Sadly expect it still will happen again. The other major factor revolving around the franchise mission of changing Hurts game play. Specifically around his health and durability. The whole plan is to NOT have Hurts play like he did in that SB you referenced. He has to pick his spots very wisely risking his ability to play going forward. Huge shift actually. But very necessary. O shouldn’t need him to carry the team so heavily week to week. Felt like playing in SoFi was important to Hurts. Rams presented a challenge he had to answer. But he’s very aware of how important a big stage SoFi is. Hurts is such a deep thinking player I don’t doubt he can envision himself having the biggest day of his life there. Could be potential playoff games he faces there. So far ahead thinking here but…believe it’s 2027 or ‘28 that SoFi will be awarded the SB. Educated guessing here. That stadium was built for the biggest events. I’d even jump to assume Hurts could possibly win two SB in that stadium. Especially speaking from Hurts thinking and point of view. Meaning, Hurts expects to be contending for a title in 2027 and 2031. Everybody else opinions can be what they may. But think we all know to believe Hurts believes this to be the case. Anyway…picking games to willingly accept higher risk for Hurts. Explained why I believe Rams game was important to him. Cowboys two games are really the only games should qualify. Until getting towards the end of the regular season and perhaps factors demand more from him. I’m actually thinking more likely at the end of the season might not be much importance to risk him much at all. Being the one seed forcing Niners to our hostile nightmare awaiting them would be huge. About only factor that really matters that can be accomplished in the regular season. Don’t think it’s happening. Niners I’ve clearly stated as being on the mission to get it done this year. Incredible team! Best team league wide coming into this season. Other than forcing NFC Championship repeat nightmare for Niners in Philly? Nothing else matters much at all towards the ultimate goal. To make sure we are all clear: ultimate goal is celebrating at a parade for our Eagles. If can’t get the one seed I’m not concerned really at all about what seeding this team comes from. 7th seed on the road? I expect we can win. Just brings the Niners matchup sooner the lower the seed. But towards the ultimate goal? Doesn’t make a difference what round we face the Niners in. They will be there. One seed on our field in NFC Champ game….or on their domain this time. All that matters convening ultimate goal is one seed and player health. Team growing and developing obviously.

I DO think(for the record) getting Chinn in for a long term deal would be beneficial. Howie avoids S and LB in the draft, maybe because he doesn't understand them. Seems he likes to have proof, then go out and get the FA's Chinn would not be cheap, but over the span of say a 3-4 year,I would love the addition. He is still young(25) he is one of the better players on the Carolina D. He gets little help,I think he would thrive here as a nickel.

The whole thing here with the Braves SS ( shortstop not strong safety for those who need clarification) ... making that " atta boy Harper" comment... then Harper hits the 2 HRs the next game with the stare down rounding 2B...was classic.

Cox just gave it back with that " we have to kiss him 11 times"    the city loves that when players don't take any crap and send the message to not give us bulletin board material.

They love athletes who go to the other sports events...etc.  A workhorse like Cox sticking around to finish business here...

You don't trade that unless you are totally clueless to the big picture.

Now setting aside being all out going for winning it all this season. Winning the division is a nice feather in everybodies cap. Stats and playoff earned seed can also be a nice feather achieved. But what should decisions be based on choosing? What’s best for going all out to win the SB? Just week to week putting forward everybodies all? Highly focusing on winning the division being the regular season paramount goal?

At 5-0 I am in the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" group. Now if we were 0-5 that's a different animal, and while I am a staunch proponent of planning ahead, there is no reason to trade Cox(or anyone) who is doing the job they are paid for. Quez IMO is expendable right now, and slot guys are not hard to find. I also love the loyalty from Cox. He should go out an Eagle. Respect!!!

I believe Cox isn’t nearly believing this is his last season. So not completely limited to a trade to playoff bound teams. Everybody is very aware of Ravens being my top trade option I’m aware as being possible. Could easily see Gannon bringing him over. Makes plenty of sense.
The clear message being sent to Carter would be belief in him now being The Guy! But also showing that even an elite stud at his position isn’t untouchable. Slack off in the next couple of seasons getting distracted in the NFL and he’ll find business comes first.
