Well…that is after game one where Siri forced Gainwell down everybodies throats as…the starter.

You love to take your shots at Gainwell don’t you lmao…

You do realize Gainwell vs a stout NE D had 3.9ypc yet the best D unit Swift has played to date LA held him to 4.1ypc right…. We talking difference of .02 yards

Obviously swift is the better pure runner but it is also pretty clear why Gainwell won the starting job during camp when you actually watched Swift and the other guys try and pass protect.

Kinda hard to so case your running skills when you don’t really have contact in camp.

At 5-0 why would we set aside winning it all???? I thought that was the idea. I'm wrong as usual

At 5-0 I am in the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" group. Now if we were 0-5 that's a different animal, and while I am a staunch proponent of planning ahead, there is no reason to trade Cox(or anyone) who is doing the job they are paid for. Quez IMO is expendable right now, and slot guys are not hard to find. I also love the loyalty from Cox. He should go out an Eagle. Respect!!!

But the mismanagement of the cap with only $59 mil... and the shortage of draft picks next year.

Saving that $3 mil is so crucial in recovering from the huge whole the Eagles are in.  🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🧑‍⚕️

Idk... I don't speak in tongues or code... have no clue what this means?

What about Brown?

You mean the brown on our roster or another Brown? if you mean the one we have he is a rook,so the jury is out on him. We can hope he is another Blank but hard to know right now.

Trading Fletch now is exactly an ideal time. When is better to trade such a franchise stud player? Sell high on a guy that is nearing the end. That would clearly be identified as this season in my eyes. Can’t be only willing to trade garbage players and expect much in return. He works for any other team both with name recognition and play. DT position is well stacked. Ojomo just coming back. Would get him more opportunity to actually play. Tuipolotu more opportunities this season. Haven’t released Street yet. Keep him if you trade a DT. Likely just release if not. Carter, Davis and Milton look ready for the task. Have backups and rotation. Couldn’t really have the position in any better standing to absorb such a loss as Cox.

3 mil is CHEAP for the play you are getting

A big part of sports is " us vs them"  mentality.

If you get rid of a player that is a huge part of the " us"  culture...  you better bring in a huge upgrade in play.

I could even justify a huge relief in salary cap.

Trading Cox doesn't do either.   Not even close.

5-0 with the coaches here now

So you haven’t noticed any difference though? Really? Do you honestly believe our O has been playing at its peak potential level so far?

True.. I guess in reality we can use Chinn while letting Brown develop... a big reason is probably because both guys are versatile.   They could play at the same time along with Blankenship.

He should retire as an Eagle out of respect for the man, even if we had to bench him for running out of gas. He deserves that respect IMO and it would not shock me if he even told the coach to "put someone else in" He's been a team player all the way

I believe that playing at peak the 1st five weeks means absolutely nothing. I can't stress that enough.  Dallas would have won 10 Superbowls this century if that mattered

I had Hubbard in a few leagues...we shall see.

Sanders blows....Carolina a dumpster fire with the type of decisions they made like signing Sanders.

Whole franchise is a dumpster fire…but you’ll spin the agenda putting it all on Sanders. Predictable! It’s really looking very obvious that Reich just isn’t the guy. He’s a great OC. That’s his job. Maybe he can get back under Pedey in Jax. Likely give him a second season though first.

Ok... I'm going to entertain this absolute stupidity and ask... what do you get for him now?

Give me a trade that makes sense for both teams.

Which doesn't actually cost the Eagles cap space.   Give it to me.  What trade you see make sense...right now involving Cox.

Brown seems to be coming along. IDK where his ceiling is. Too early to know. He has things to learn.Maybe he will. His advantage is he is cheap,Chinn you'd have to lose assets for,but Carolina is 2-3 year out from being really good(provided they don't make more bonehead decisions) and IDK if Carolina is willing to pay Chinn for a new contract

Be good for those fans that really overblew Reich’s role in our SB. Huge role…as OC I’m not taking away at all from him.

By not trading Coz we build good cred w/ other potential players.

Lack of draft picks? We have 10 including comps

There aren't any good early college games. Want USC to beat Notre damned later. Oregon vs Wash later could be good, only matchup of top teams

If I remember, and I could be wrong,Chinn played at CB before converting. I mean if that is correct and Slay went down we really wouldn't miss a beat. Once again could be bad memory lol

Why do you see it as " all on Sanders" why do you make it that way.  Where did I say or imply..." all on Sanders "

When it's one of your boys... you lose credibility because you can't ever critique any of them.  You still can't blame Hurts for fumbling untouched.

He played a brutal game vs the Giants...you never acknowledged.

Sanders isn't good... Carolina has more problems than just Sanders...but Sanders is absolutely one of them...and was a bad signing.

I like Chinn because he loves to hit, kind of like Vander-Esch at LB,he just wants to hit people and we could use that mentality. He is an excellent tackler. I guess I need to watch brown more(if he plays)

But what about the 1.5 mil of cap space?

Cox has high trade value now. A bad team is going to trade for a guy who already took a pay cut to play here.

It's an obvious move

If both can play together, it's a great move

Sanders was dropped in EVERY fantasy league. yes I know its fantasy, but obviously he is underperforming. Hubbard is the better back in Carolina and while noone expected anyone to replace Caff,it's apparent the Sanders success was all due to our O line. People here are "unhappy". he is on the verge of being benched

Trade Cox so we can play Barnett....this is the logic???   🤦

The big trade can be absorbed with more confidence having Barnett as a possible rotation option. One Out of like 5 guys backing up. The simple logic is…stay with me now here….DT room won’t have a huge dropoff. Gain experience needed in all these younger hungry guys ready to play. The obvious being a stud LB or S coming in makes the overall team better than keeping Fletch. This I absolutely believe is true. We don’t know all players that can possibly be traded for. But the two we know are possible S Baker and LB Queen…one of those guys makes a massive difference in the D. Massive difference to either the second level or third level of the D. Adding a stud S or LB so obviously improves this team. Even if it costs us Fletch.
