Nothing against Fletch. Just leaving out emotions and focusing solely on the task of the business at hand.

By not trading Coz we build good cred w/ other potential players.

Lack of draft picks? We have 10 including comps

There aren't any good early college games. Want USC to beat Notre damned later. Oregon vs Wash later could be good, only matchup of top teams

OSU played Purdue, but you had to stream peacock to watch it.pisses me off

Sanders was dropped in EVERY fantasy league. yes I know its fantasy, but obviously he is underperforming. Hubbard is the better back in Carolina and while noone expected anyone to replace Caff,it's apparent the Sanders success was all due to our O line. People here are "unhappy". he is on the verge of being benched

Sanders will be an Eagle again in 2 years.... on a cheap deal.  3rd string.  Only issue is he gives zero in the pass game.  Which you need for backups, specifically ones who don't offer anything short yardage

If both can play together, it's a great move

I think Chinn is the perfect nickel fit

And nothing against this awful idea...but show me a trade that you think the Eagles could make for Cox?

We can save $1.5 mil of cap space this year by trading Cox.  3 mil over the next 2 years.

It's crucial because we only have $59 mil plus of cap space next year.

But... let's not forget if we trade Cox...and get another player...then that player also will count toward the cap.

So it could actually cost us money to trade Cox.

But this comes from someone who actually looks at the reality of things... I'm older now, I can't judge the ball anymore so I pitch and play infield... don't spend much time at all in left field!

How long did it take you to come to this brilliant realization? That adding a Pro Bowl level stud especially will cost money. Big investment! Left fielders can hit the crap out of the ball. Name a Left Fielder that doesn’t hit home runs?

What do you think we get for Cox?  4th round pick?   Idk...you yell me...I don't see value for a bad team to trade for him.   Why would the Eagles trade him to a competitor?

It's a click or a quick " Fletcher Cox over the cap" into my phone...and you get the #s

Really not rocket science

I don't want him back, even as a 3rd string. It's obvious RB's successes here are because of the O line and while to date they are not up to what I consider "dominating" Swift is having a great year. I expect the O line to improve. I was wrong about my misplaced judgement of Opeta. He played fine,so I will eat crow on that one

Leaving out emotions,he's playing at a high level?

So we can agree a bad team has no use for Cox this year, especially knowing he really isn't going to be happy leaving Philly.

So do we trade Cox to KC? SF? Dallas?  Detroit?    Buffalo?

Who is the team that makes sense to get us the day 3 pick?

Right...  leaving out emotions... strictly business...  what do you think we can get for Cox?

I think we can get a 4th round pick from a contender.    I don't think bad teams are going to give up much for him for one year.

I don't want him back either...but he will be absolutely be available.

Seriously he is OLD,IDK of any team that would trade for him. he knows this system and the players he plays next to. moving to another team he would have to start all over with new coaches schemes etc,so unless one was really desperate, you hit the draft

Great move to dismantle that team and let Chip take the fall.  Was best thing for Lurie and Howie

Makes little sense to me to pay for a player on his downside who can't be re-signed for a longer term

Like Sanders was a remnant from Ped. New coaches, clean slate, let him get who he wants and I am certain he(siri) wanted Swift here. One could argue it was a bad move after nearly winning the SB to not retain all the same players, but the cost didn't warrant it. I liked the move to lose him

He absolutely has value...to a contender.   As the Eagles why would you do that?

To go from 59 to 62 mil of cap space next year.

To get another day 3 pick?

Makes no sense.... no matter how many times you say no mas....no sense it the reality.

If I'm wrong...very easy to come up with a trade scenario that would make sense.

Problem is...when you like to speak in theory and code words ...etc...you don't like to engage on a conversation that can have a definitive answer.

No shot Howie was going to pay for Sanders.... seeing him for 4 years... and not trusting him after 2 fumbles in the SB.  No shot. He isn't a winning player.

May have value this year, but once again it's only a patch. I doubt he plays next year. He knows his time is ending. not really anyone you could plan to re=sign for 2-3 year extension and he;s playing at a high level and deserves to retire an Eagle

Yeah soon you will have to pay for everything but commercials

Joe,do you think Cox has his number retired? So many kick arse years here

But you don't think a KC , Buffalo or Dallas would give up a 4th round pick to add him in their rotation this year?

I do....and I think the Eagles do not want to do that.
