For the record....No Mas is open to all trades where the other team is the idiot.

Cox and Gannon....I'm sure Cox would love that.

But let's look at the bigger picture... unlike No Mas with the close minded view.

Let's say the Eagles trade a popular player within the locker room...a mentor to the young guys...long time Eagle, who took a pay cut ...

Let's trade him to the crap situation in AZ after all he has done.

Unlike No Mas, I am a man of vision... I can see where the player and the agent would be upset to get traded to the crap team and play for the former DC, who isn't so popular.

From my view in left field...I can see how this wouldn't go over well within the locker room.  Where it destroys the good will that has been built over time here.

Good thing Cunningham thee Man!   Is smart enough to see this big picture... unlike the close minded No Mas!

I was thinking. ...Kelce has good trade value now...  we should look to trade him along with 3 first round picks to get a LB.

No Sauce tomorrow for Jets.

Gotta have the sauce with the Sunday pasta!

LB Nakobe Dean was activated from injured reserve.

WR Quez Watkins was placed on injured reserve.

WR Devon Allen and CB Mekhi Garner were temporarily elevated from the practice squad.

Sauce Gardner out for Jets

https://nfldraftlounge.com/player/2024-nfl-draft-scouting-report-georgia-s-javon-bullard/  Want to keep my eye on this kid. Once again the Georgia connection. Alot of our guys will know how good he is. versatility we need/look for. has played both S and CB. Yet "Howie doesn't draft Safeties in round 1" Watching NC/Miami. maimi played lousy last week, they should bounce back and give NC a game

I would be ok with this. Not a prolific guy really. he seems to have alot of "freak" injuries. I mean to the point it's coming close to "alarming". If he can stay on the field this year,I would be fine getting him. The problem is Hurts is either is not looking at the slot through is progressions(because they are failing to get open) or doesn't see them or both. Similar to the season start with Goedert which it appeared last game was finally addressed by the OC. So I would be fine bringing him in if we USE him. It's hard to judge him playing with the crap he has in NY. Zaccheus is also being ignored except for that 1 TD he got.As I said before I would like to see more plays from the slot. I'm hoping as the OC grows he starts to call some plays for them

The Eagles have been around since 1933... never drafted a safety in round 1.   Idk how old Howie is... but 1933 was well before he was born to make that policy....lol

Idk...my family down there and my neighbor from Baltimore who is a die hard....was laughing at the idea of them trading Queen.  Basically saying the same thing.

I think you fantasize about a player and you talk yourself into believing he is available.

If he doesn't get traded..will you finally let it go?

It is what it is. Wasn’t even my idea to start with. Media reports of rumors. As soon as they traded for Roquan it was a clear message to Queen.

But you can’t be a die hard Ravens fan. You’re just a thief that stole Cleveland’s glory just two seasons before the dream was realized. Cleveland suffered and suffered. Not much good happened. Those are die hard fans. Much like us for so long. Ravens stole the team in the middle of the night and were gifted a parade in there second season. They have no idea what die hard would or could actually mean.

Fined for a stiff arm?

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert was fined by the NFL for unnecessary roughness from a play that happened in the third quarter of Philly's 23-14 win on the road against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 5. Goedert caught a pass from quarterback Jalen Hurts on the left sideline and barreled down the field for a 49-yard gain. At the end of the play, the 6-5, 256 pound tight end delivered a stiff arm to Los Angeles defensive back Russ Yeast, which resulted in a $11,473.

NC/Miami excellent game going

Yeah,I know, but really we need to address this spot. I know he loves his lineman and that's fine but a high pick (first  2 rounds) would give us a solid piece instead of having to hit the market all the time. IDK why he is afraid of those 2 positions, but he has been and that's a little sad he avoids them so badly . Blank was a great find, brown could be also,so IDK what to say. if they are finding these DITRS then the need NOT to draft high seems good. but you can't always count on finding those. I remember drafting Sidney Jones in round 2 because he was injured, but I think we could use a talent infusion even if those 2 work out. The guy I posted could go in early round 2,so I could look for him there

I think the Ravens would probably trade a 3rd for Cox.     It's why logically they won't trade away Queen.  They want the best players for THIS YEAR.

I've been saying this the whole time.

I can respect your opinion. We really just don’t even know. Queen has been rumored by several. Exactly why I rather play things more vague than specific. Whomever the best options are before the deadline need to be weighed out to choose the best path. If we can’t make an addition(s) that really improve our ability to win it all this year then no need to make any additions that aren’t strictly long term solutions.

Or you could be very happy for Fletch traded and extended for all that locked up money ahead. Congratulations Fletch. All knew all that money wasn’t coming from the Eagles.

Covey must not have passed concussion protocol

Ok....what word would you use for a fan that's from Baltimore and follows the Ravens like we do the Eagles?   Whatever term you like.. that's someone who was pumped talking about his team having Smith added to Queen on the defense.

After you bring things up coming off arrogantly like an expert for other teams...I have a few sources of my own with ( Whatever word you want to use instead of die hard) for a few teams.   I ask their opinions and follow up with looking at a few news stories on the player.

Nothing suggests Queen being traded from a Baltimore perspective.

A post or blogger saying a player would fit another team is one thing.... I've been seeing the Knicks bloggers being so thirsty for Embiid... so out of touch with reality.

Queen isn't going anywhere.  Reality over fantasy.

So Blankenship and Brown projected to be the starting safety combo....weren't both brought in here as rookies... not guys hitting the open market?

You shouldn't respect my opinion about the Ravens... you should look at the opinions of people that follow the Ravens.

Any idiot can make crap up that a player can fit another team.  Doesn't mean he is available.

Btw... I have never seen any rumors of Queen being available.... can you send me some links?

Or....you could understand the importance of teams keeping certain players happy....so in the future the agents prefer to deal with teams that have a good reputation for taking care of the player.

Again...  who benefits from Cox being traded to AZ?

He was offered more money to leave, he wanted to stay.  Twice!!!!!   If it was about $$ he wouldn't be an Eagle.

Stop trying to spin things to make yourself feel right.... you know Cox would be pissed to be traded now.    He could sign in AZ after the season.

Why isn't this obvious.

It's why I continue to believe you are just being a smart-ass with trading Cox.   No trade with him makes sense for all parties involved.

To keep him happy,  he goes to a contender...that makes no sense for the Eagles though.  Not a difficult concept to grasp.

Did he go into concussion protocol again... after he played against the Rams?

I was thinking the Olympic guy is replacing Quez after he went on IR?

Yeah congrats for taking less money twice to stay ....but now Ham is telling you money is more important now that we are 5-0.   Forget that you wanted to stay...we decided it was more important for you to take the money....exactly now. Because why win here first...and then just go get paid next year..🤷‍♂️

What about Bradberry? Slay?

I think Cox wants another ring, and we CAN do this.Tougher schedule this year. I'm HAPPY about that. Iron sharpens iron. Maybe the record ends up not as good as last year, but we will be more prepared than last year
