Since I'm in a good mood with the Phillies win... let's go with the first Tankathon update.... Saints pick coming to the Eagles is pick #50.

A twist to it....Saints have pick 11... they have the first pick out of all the 3-3 teams....which means they pick last in round 2... brings them all the way back to 50.

So when the season ends, it's idea that whatever record they have, that they select 2nd out of those teams tied...so round 2 they move up to the 1st selection of that tied group.

Next update...Thanksgiving... lol

That's your assignment and we expect those now 🤣

Losing a HofFamer would hurt ANY OLine. Opeta is serviceable. Driscoll was bad….rusty maybe.

Hurts is not processing fast enough right now. I really think he MIGHT be too concerned with AJ. AJ is a stud. Process faster and get to your next read.

Jets took away the run game. Teams will try to duplicate that. But other teams dont have the Jets D Line talent.

I would rather have this bad game vs a team that will probably not come into tie breaker play. That's the only silver lining, but I'll take what I can get

Jason Avant does a great job breaking down the game for CSN Philly.    Really showed those plays where Hurts being indecisive and holding the ball too long hurt us.

See the field and make the throw....really seems his issues are seeing the field.   Dudes were open for the 5 to 7 yard pass, and he was holding the ball for 4 hitches...you gotta take those vs a good DL.   Avant used the term " hero ball"  ... bringing back the vibes of how the previous guy ended his tenure here.

The last interception just awful... we haven't seen that from him in the clutch....he usually manages the game really well....not losing it for his team.

Move on to the next one... all QBs have awful games.

But this can't be a trend now...4 year QB, he can't keep getting confused like a HS QB.

It happens though, Herbert didn't see a wide open Eckler on the game ending INT.   Move on to Miami,  break out the Kelly green

Believe I just call it like I see it

Yet I’m a hater for calling it like I see it when Hurts already had more turnovers this year in 6 games v all of last season mmmmm…. You definitely don’t call it like you see it you call it to fit your narrative excuses galore for guys like Hurts

Yes each game is unique, but there are games you need to win. We aren't going to go 17-0,but I would rather lose to a team that we should or might lose too,not the Jets FGS. But we move on either way. just a BAD BAD loss that was unnecessary

Well, the "good" news is that is was a non-division, non-conference game.

That was a silver lining, longshot at being a "tie breaker" game. It was a bad week for alot of "sure things"

I'm not there, but this new OC could have some issues about telling Hurts how to "change" IDK, his deep ball accuracy seriously improved, but now it seems the "take what they give you" has dried up,so yeah hero ball is a good term. It's 50 yards or take the sack. Can't do that in the pros. Lack of use of "alternative" weapons basically doesn't exist. Goedert is a legit weapon being ignored in the game plan like he is a rookie "outlet savior". Running 2 yard routes to the sideline. Very stupid use of a legit downfield threat. Not seeing the RB's being used as receivers, other than(once again) cheap outlets. Slot guys are now invisible. I'm wondering what is going on with the OC and if the QB coach is going along with it. Hurts looks like he regressed 2 years. I get the OC is learning on the job,but man stop "fixing" what ain't broke. Siri needs to step in and if he comes out with ish on his shoes,he needs to change how things work. We have so many weapons that are being ignored,I have to agree it looks like HS where you have 1-2 guys that can actually play,so you go there exclusively. This entire offense looks sluggish and not on the same page. That has to be the OC. So far he's not learning to my satisfaction. not that my opinion matters, but we need a dynamic OC,not a guy learning on the job in a year we could make another run. Yes I understand we are 5-1,but I think that was DESPITE the OC,but because we have the talent to overcome that.We look like a bunch of guys who are playing together for the first time and it shows. If we keep playing this way,we are going to get schooled

SF lost to an NFC team too... everything is back to square 1.

I'm not even worried about it...the division comes first...Dallas won the game that has zero tiebreaker implications.  Still sitting good there.

Really I always just look to get the wins now...around Thanksgiving is the time to start Iooking at the standings.   For now...Eagles win and Saints lose.  That's it.

When you see the analysis... it's not about the OC.   They show plays that are there, and not being seen or made.

I was listening to first drive on the radio...sure seemed like they were passing to the RB.

Quick really ripped Smith on the wide open drop, questioning why he even jumped....seeing it afterwards in highlights...Smith looked awful.

Drops, fumbles... 400 yards of offense..etc.

I realize everyone on here thinks they can be a GM,  coach or play caller... but come on... our players have to see things in front of them and handle the ball.      No matter who the OC is, plays don't work with how our players played yesterday.

O line was an issue without Lane. If that's the case we're in for a BAD stretch until he returns. Drops and turnovers are killing us as you said, but as I said,it looks like guys that are playing together for the first time

With Hurts.... he needs to make the quick throw...  we have seen when he waits... it allows the defense to set up.

And yes...he has a relatively weak NFL arm...it's why he struggles going left...or when he has to plant and launch when the timing is off....we see defenders break up those passes.

Once he gets in that zone when he is ok throwing a 5 yard pass on early downs... or if he starts seeing the open guy early....now it opens up everything else.  It's how our pass rush gets slowed down...we need to do the same...then go long once they over play. Then start running once they back up.

Offense can't be run or throw long.

4 turnovers. I thought Hurts was smarter than that. Jets D pretty good,we're going to face better ones soon and we need to have answers or we're going to be 5-6

Not at all on the plays Avant was showing.... 4 hitches... guys open...no throw.   Nothing to do with OL.

But I agree that they can't run the ball as well without Lane...and probably Jurgens too.

Going to face better offenses... so going to need to put up more than 19 points

100% Missing those mid field plays with Goedert and the slot guy. Zach isn't great, but he is usable,so is Goedert and even Stoll. Why are we ignoring the 5-12 yard passes, thats all Hurts USED to do,dink and dunk, and now that has disappeared. We can grind away on some teams running, thats nice to see,but some teams will stop that and we need to do better on mid length pass plays

I got bashed for saying 30 per game(AVERAGE),but really thats what you need to do,maybe you lose 34-30,but most times 30 will be a win. Of course we scored more than 30 in the SB and lost that, but it wasn't due to lack of offense, they just had more offense. Lane's BU's are not good

I suggested while Lane is out that we try to roll Hurts left, but that's his bad side and IDK if we can do that. I would try to run left also. it's worth trying. Mailata and Dickerson are now the "strong" side,so we need to see if we can run left as well as roll Hurts left

Anyway, home game vs the Fins. They are really tough. Like us they have a potent running QB,great WR's great RB in Mostert and we need to play our best game. They will be coming for Hurts all day

It's more than just Goedert and the slot guy... Avant showed a few with Smith not being thrown at... you have to stop with this predetermined agenda of Goedert or whoever.  Each play takes a life of its own... Hurts needs to be in the moment without an agenda....just taking what the defense gives him.  Not all about Goedert.   It's whoever is open on a given play.

Again....worrying about a number.   I used 19 because that's how much a bad Jets offense got.  The point is we are going to need to do better....and vs better offenses it means we won't have the ball as much...less opportunities.  So we need to make them count.

How about Hurts just sees the open guy and throws it to him ASAP.   Let’s not make it rocket science.

Sadly he did at the end of the game Sunday

LOL I have no Goedert "agenda" please. He is an unused weapon. Running 2 yard sideline routes is not his best use. It's a waste of talent

The number 30 should be the goal for every team(not just the Eagles). It's like realizing how many millions you would make at golf, if you simply shot par

He fumbled...probably should have been unused on that play.
