Queen and Simmons we add? Then I see is in a SB window. Smoke and mirrors of 5-0 I think really caught too many believing we are so much more than we are.

This loss to a quality D at a bad time. Could face real slap in the face adversity here. Need to just fight like heck to avoid a sizable losing streak.

Dolphins, Skins and Cowboys….then bye. We might lose four straight here.

Four game losing streak going into the meat of the schedule.

I haven’t heard Siri, Lurie or Rosie mention anything about SB aspirations this season. I don’t think they do believe this is our year.

We took a clear step back from last season. New coaches. Less talent. Injuries actually being faced. How many times have teams gotten worse and reacted the SB?

The story of this season would have to read: lost experience is better with fledging playcallers learning on the job. The older CB trio we possess all got a step faster and recovery time for each defied Father Time. Losing experienced LB and S? Got nothing to spin there. Tougher schedule means less resting fourth quarters to stay fresh for key starters. 

Am I alone on this? Everybody else here think this team currently is a SB favorite level team?

Sure would struggle to base any SB expectations on anything this team has actually shown this year so far. 

Looked bumpy and choppy pulling out wins over less than playoff teams. Maybe that second half shutdown in LA has been the best sign.

I think it’ll take awhile for this team to get three more wins this season.

We have a punchers chance. Mostly Hope lies in improvement throughout the season. This team can beat anybody. Will say that much. But also could lose first playoff game. Reality to me is that playoff game could be on the road. Missing needed talent at certain spots. But where the talent is great gotta put that together still. O is just pieces. AJ can go to. Swift, Goedert …DeVonta. Talent is there on O. But nothing looking like any of it is working together. AJ isn’t seeming up Goedert and the run so much. It’s just one at a time..alone. Playcalling far from putting it together. But already behind on the congestion and gelling. Nothing on O looking crisp and clean enough. Already looking way behind of what should have occurred during TC.

That 5-0 start going to be huge carrying this team this season. Starting 5-0? That gets me to believe this team can get 10 or 11 wins. 

I’m not sold we win our division 

When I think of SB season stories of the past: it’s dream like stuff. Everything stepping up and coming together so fantastic. Down the line across the franchise everybody having career type seasons. Players and coaches being hot and on the pulse of themselves. Not bad injury luck. Not inexperienced playcalling coordinators not being ready just yet. Not playcallers running their side of the ball coming out of TC looking like they didn’t nearly have a great plan to get their guys what was needed in the offseason. Not losing experienced talented trust worthy type players to downgrade to lesser talented..lesser experienced players. Slay looked like he hit the wall last season against age. Not looking like he’s showing spring youth found him again. Maddox done for the year. 

If I was GM I wouldn’t be buying hard to go all in this season. I don’t see it. Will add long term solutions. Would even willingly sell. But no one year rental band aid. Every dollar invested this season bites us the next years. 

Don’t see some elite 15-2 squad here. 5-0…I’m just not buying the hype over. Great needed wins. But I’m not looking at 5-0 or 5-1 meaning this team is on top. It’s a quality team with reason to be hopeful based on youth and inexperience improving throughout. Hope looking at the Conference. This team has a decent shot versus all but the Niners in the NFC. But weeded out to the playoff NFC teams? Think we are just in the lump with all the rest. Niners are setup. I like the Lions as second.

Rams, Cowboys, Saints, Seachickens…? Not feeling confident we dominate any of them come playoffs. We could beat any…but lose to any of these.

This should be a fun game to watch. Both have offense,both D's have to deal with running QB's. It will be interesting to see who wins the chess match

We should slow Mostert down,but we will have difficulty running the ball. We need to use the RB's in pass catching mode(so do they). Both Swift and Gains. WHY did we sign Penny not to use him???? I mean AT ALL. Tyreek will be an issue for us

Seems to me with both D's able to stop the run it will be an aerial show since both secondaries are going to be weak. it will hurt if Achane plays,but he is doubtful
