LMAO,yeah, but my point was thats all they had to go on when our top 2 bit the dust

But Douglas didn't have the final say. I will give you an example. In last years draft the only player they took that everyone in the draft room agreed on was RB Sanders. That means that Howie had final say on the rest because there was no consensus. Look at it this way 93, Any successful fortune 500 company changes their higher management structure with people from the outside of the company  for fresh ideas. The Eagles are worth 3 billion dollars but I sure wouldn't call them a success at winning Championships if that was their goal. Lurie has owned the Eagles since 1994. That is 26 years with two different GM's (Joe Banner & Howie Roseman). Plus Joe Banner trained Howie Roseman. Okay we won 1 Super bowl in 26 years with these two guys at the helm and what has Joe Banner won with the Browns or Falcons since he left? If these two guys would have won 3 or 4 Super Bowls in 26 years I have no problem with them being permanent fixtures but my definition of success is not 1 Super Bowl in 26 years. By the way, I don't hate anyone! Just sayin!

Lmao yes he didn’t have final say you don’t think he had a massive influence on who they took though get real....Howie final say is like the tie breaker of two sides.... He isn’t neglecting what Joe is saying going oh well everyone in the room likes player A but I want player B we are taking player B....

What Laurie has done and what Banner has done has literally nothing to do with Howie you can’t fault a guy for the past guys failures.... In a decade since being GM Howie has done what no other GM has ever done with the Eagles won a SB....

Of course, see Jjaw was facing our less than stellar secondary. He found out other teams had good ones lol

So he missed 7 games in 2015? Big deal. The supension had nothing to do with his health, but lets pull out ancient stats lol

Sorry about pulling up a long list of an injury history when you state there’s no way to predict a guy could get injured. My fault.

LOL so 2015 he should have retired cause you know, you cant come back.So it obvious to me he had no sense playing in the SB game,he was a wash

BTW his SB game he played injured. We shoulda benched this loser. So what I need you to do is pick FA's that you guarantee wont get injured.I will send that list to Howie

yeah that explains his poor play IN game.practice he had noone TOUGH guarding him.But once again,he was all we had left to play WR

Why was he all we had left? Because we didn’t keep enough guys in the 53. And the Hollins and JJaw were part of the small numbers. That and the fact we took JJaW over Metcalf(can’t really not put this as part of the issue).

Ozzie Newsome since people liked him as a GM in comparison sake become the GM of the Ravens in 2002 was not the GM during the first SB would not win his first SB as a GM till 2013 so until 11 years on the job.

Well ,lets see what he learned, but I know they will look at him more closely now and assume he cant take his practice reps into a REAL game.I suspect they play him on some garbage snaps to find out if they have a guy or a practice snaps darling

yeah you can argue that. But as I recall that was a rather tight cap year and we only had a few draft picks(you can blame that on Howie and I may agree with you on that)

We fired the WR coach. I agree with that call. Let’s see if quality coaching helps him develop? He came in late from the stupid PAC rules. Didn’t play with Carson during the preseason. A bunch of stuff was going against JJAW. I’m willing to give him a fair shake this year.

BTW we had other positions that went down at the same time.hard to get 53 with all those injuries we had.So do you stock WR's or line man? We chose linemen and lost on both counts

Agreed,we shook that up AND the med staff again

Have rooks coming in.Although I agree he gets a slight pass,he needs to beat out these guys coming in

So we lost 2 WR's today.Where do you feel we add some competition? I know these are UDFA's but what positions do you feel we need to try and add competition to?Was Clement one of the 2 or did we add him and still have 2 spots left?

Out for the night TC all

"I feel personally we’re going to have to lean on our veteran players [this year],’’ Pederson said. "We’re going to have to lean on DeSean Jackson and Greg Ward and guys like that.’’

An issue I had last year.... too many linemen.  So instead of saying JJAW took Ward;s spot... maybe it was Rugby guy, Herbig or one of the 7 DEs?   In fairness... Ward and Perkins should have made it in front of 2 linemen.... the numbers didn' t make sense to me.

Then you need to dump wild card weekend. How else do you decide 2 teams with identical records who have the same W/L vs common opponents?

Yes, you dump wild card weekend and have 4 playoff games per conference.

The NFL has a procedure for playoff tiebreakers that is 11 steps long.  That's not an issue.

Would we dump wildcard weekend or just make all the teams play in wildcard weekend?   If you are going to make it 4 division winners and 4 wildcards, probably just keep the titles the same?     IDK, but we will have this by 2030 at the latest.  Along with 18 games.

Hopefully it means they finally figured out Ward deserves a spot on the roster.
