It could, but I'm on the "glass half full" side. 1 game at a time

Sidney Brown and Terrell Edmunds at S this week by default…if nothing else.

1 game at a time is the reality.

You're posts came off as a pessimistic clairvoyant lol

LMAO, page 3300 is entirely (except for 1 post)  a novel that would take as long to read as War and Peace. 🤣 Unreal

Even if Lane stays out this time,he will be back the week after. I posted the impact he has,so if he returns, whenever that is,we will have some type of running game. Fins secondary is as beat up as ours,Both D's can stop the tun, should be a fun aerial game to watch

The top 2 offenses in the league.   It's funny, we are #2 offense but our OC stinks .. according to a lot of people.  Lol

Should be a fun game to watch, evenly matched, even the injured players positions are similar. Going to be a chessmatch type game

As long and turnovers don't negate that again

Don’t think we are looking nearly as good as plenty of fans seem to believe. A bunch of 5-0 no need to change or improve anything comments from certain sectors. I want our OC to succeed. But a losing streak right now could force a playcaller change. Could be what launches this team towards its full potential this season…and going forward.

I'm curious....who on hers said " no need to improve anything "  ????    In every aspect of listening, reading or watching Eagles fans... never on any one of them did I ever read, hear or see... " no need to improve anything "????

Just curious where you get this information?

Our O just didn’t come out of TC looking very together and ready. My viewpoint he’s been behind all season on the developing? Everything on its own and everything being put together. Playcalling he doesn’t seem to come back to working plays against that opponent. Hasn’t come off as any vision for future plays anticipated to call…setting everything up all game. I always like showing a certain look and doing two or three different plays that all look the same presnap. I haven’t been really that thrilled with much of the route combinations and WR spread depths. Lane went down. How long did it take Johnson to get Driscoll help? Oh we are still waiting for that? I see. He’s very obviously learning on the job big time. The AJ TD with 1.5 minutes left on the clock? Bad.

The Hurts section concerning the OC is its own. They’ve known each other all Hurts life. So extreme to need to fire him or anything. Really would be a very tough move. But since Johnson is so behind in so many areas with this Entire side of the ball? Maybe he should relinquish playcalling. Give him ability to focus on everything else. Siri supposedly would be on that job as well mostly.

This situation is very tricky!
It was great to have him as QB coach. No brainer having him on that job. Most, including myself, thought he was the obvious choice. I’m not of the thinking that Brian has shown he can’t do the job very well. Just wasn’t ready off the bat this season. Green. Work in progress. Figured this would be the case mostly. I prefer if the decisions being made are looking more long term still at this point. Long term I see Brian Johnson working out actually. So how many of the lumps do you take along the way to develop the coach? Yes they need to be developed also sometimes. Always a work in progress job.

Playcalling is just one area OC could spend all his prep time on. So maybe best for him to give that up here. At least trying the RB coach I’d think would be my first. Siri could step in. That actually could work very well.

Noticed several moments so far this season I just really didn’t like the route combination or the spacing. Point straight towards the rushing game against the Jets.

Sorry if it comes off as doom and gloom. I fully expected some large growing pains having both sides of the ball with new playcalling. Desai much further ahead, contrary to expectations. He’s trying to pull off some Goodrich/Ricks combination in the slot? Guy is reaching and coaching. LB? S? He’s already gone through plenty of guys at these positions. Goodrich got the boot. Really early call on him. But is what it is. Next man up. Desai figuring out everything at his disposal. Getting such early looks at all these combinations of players/personnel.

How long are you sticking by Brian Johnson?

There absolutely were times I didn't like the route combinations....the play calls... the drops....the decision to go for a TD instead of run the clock and kick last second FG....and plenty of awful decisions and receivers not seen by the QB.

I've also seen, read, watched or listened to everyone who discusses Eagles....say all these same things.

The Superbowl is played in February....  21 weeks of NFL football... we are done 6 weeks.... 2/7 of the way so far.... long long season left.  Ups, downs...etc.  whoever " looks" the best or worst now....really doesn't matter.

5-1 is all that counts at the moment.  Everything that went right....and everything that went wrong ( which includes all the awful play by the QB) isn't going to matter in a 3 months...just that we are 5-1 is what will effect our playoff position.

All the other stuff needs to be hitting stride as we get down the stretch.

I’m seeing this year’s squad as: hoping they can win the division…and a playoff game.

Brian Johnson will be OC until he gets a head coaching job elsewhere and we get a 3rd round comp pick.

How do you see this year's squad for KC?

5-1 facing the Phins. Then Skins and Cowboys. KC, Bills. That whole part of your statement could be looking in real jeopardy. Looking at the schedule here. It’s that point in the season. Things will get ugly real quick if there isn’t a massive collective step up. Injuries obviously being huge hurdles.

Does he retain the playcalling?
