If a player doesn't miss a practice rep...just decides to wear a brace for support as precaution....

Does it need to be reported?   Did the player look hampered at all after using the brace?

He absolutely looked slow in the first half ...PRIOR to using the brace.

Where you gotta notice reality. Not baseless conspiracy. He came into the game injured already.

I believe Hurts did in fact injure his knee in LA. Look considering this at the whole Jets game. He was dealing with that knee in the Meadowlands .

  • Author

Now if the injury occurred during a Brotherly Shove play it’s going to be a huge problem.

  • Author

He went off on SoFi

  • Author

But then was Hurts purely just sloppy at the end of the Jets game? Throwing off his back foot rolling away towards his left.

  • Author

He was hurting. Struggling. Couldn’t plant anymore with his right knee.

  • Author

Much less squaring up planting running towards his left.

Turnovers have to be looked at much more specifically than lumping together. First…like to take a step back towards more: turnover differential. Need the D to make more plays. Believe that’s looking probably more than possible. But every O turnover hasn’t been remotely the same. Hurts needs to protect the ball much better. Starts there. A couple specific turnovers I attribute directly to him. How much his injury has played a roll does seem to bring more to light. That’s if you don’t believe the injury report, like me. Not sure I’ve even read about anybody here that’s even acknowledged or recognized he’s been playing hurt. This is known, right? Some claim happened in LA.

So... you attribute the turnovers to a QB.... when he fumbles as he knows he is getting tackled and sees the defender...or he just loses the ball.  If he gets hit from behind, then you can blame it on protection or play call.

If QB forces a ball into coverage, or gets the ball deflected where he sees the defensive players...that's on him.

When the WR runs the wrong route or they aren't on the same page, then you can take blame away from the QB.

This year... Hurts has made poor decisions and execution on the bulk of the turnovers.

It seems uncharacteristic...unnecessary hero ball at times, just sloppy at other times.

I don't expect that to be the norm.  6-1 ... we move on and look to improve.    Part of which is we should hope our defense to create more turnovers to even things out...if not even completely flip it to our favor.

The beauty is....while there are absolutely Hurts stans who just refuse to blame him for things...Hurts himself absolutely realizes his key role in the negative aspects and no doubt he will work to improve.

Glad we acknowledged Davis playing hurt.... let's go through the list of players we need to acknowledge....this way the Hurts stans can be satisfied.

Yes I think he has been hampered big time.

It's hampered his brain?  His vision?

Such a jaded point of view on AR. Hall of Fame coach. No doubt. Best coach that’s been dominating for so many years now. AR proven so much without Mahomes. But he shouldn’t have won this last SB. We should have taken them out. AR completely pawned Gannon. Just that obvious and simple. Mahomes wasn’t making anything extra occur the second half of this SB. Made like one huge conversion run with his legs. We weren’t stopping Pacheco. Wasn’t even live coverage showing us trying to contest receivers. By receivers I’m mostly talking about just Kelce and JuJu. Neither guy that possess some Olympic speed we just couldn’t keep up with. Kelce being so obvious Gannon should have been bracketing with three defenders at least even. Two TDs on that comeback not a single defender acted responsible to even cover the guy on. Two unguarded wide open TDs? Really! SB! Wasn’t Mahomes Magic happening. He just was hitting the easy wide open playcalling targets. All off of Pacheco keeping things honest and good down and distances. Pitch and Catch! I’ve never seen anything like that in the SB before. Our D had big time talent on it also. Looked like bums.

Not jaded at all.... go watch KC play....like really watch them.    Look at times where you expect them to fail....and then all of a sudden it's Mahomes going off script to keep the drive alive.

If you want, we can go over game by game and look at the key plays?  Or tou can do the usual and just be " No Mas, I know more than you, why would I lower myself to talk specifics instead of my usual Sigmond Frued approach at football philosophy to where I cannot be proven wrong with actual facts "

As do 90% of the players.

So nowhere do you ever start at the source here?

Long throw to AJ looked pretty decent.

Already with excuses for just some piss poor decision making and not seeing WRs that were open..  the knee isn't an excuse for that.

Why I receiver bobbling a catch turning to an interception just isn’t on Hurts. Happened twice.

  • Author

A rusher not even getting slowed by protection hitting his arm during the throw isn’t all him either.

Yes...the source is the guy with the ball making the decisions.  A bad snap...i start with the source...the center.

The player who fumbles when he isn't hit from someone he can't see... that's the source.

The passer who shouldn't make the decision to throw it... or just makes a really bad throw...that's the source.

But instead of just being the ordinary not real involved fan blaming QBs always. Or giving praise always. Start with what was happening. Was the O operating well? Good down and distance? Good score situation game wise? Then did the 11 all operate correctly on a play that resulted in turnover?

  • Author

Was a block missed? Was a route not correct? Did the QB not recognize and adjust to a quick throw?

  • Author

But Jets game really had me wondering why our stellar WR combo and TE weren’t getting more open?

  • Author

Heck really almost just why weren’t our receivers getting open?

  • Author

Both starting CBs out for Jets. Should have been a huge mismatch advantage for us.

  • Author

Why didn’t we see plenty of them getting very wide open?

You read a lot of fiction and conspiracy theory stuff in your spare time?

Investigation going on at Michigan in college. Foolish to think this can't happen in the pros also.  Not saying it is,but we need to find out. "Noone deflates NFL footballs" until they are caught doing it

The QB has the most to do with the turnovers...the whole world knows it.

The world -1
