Here come the excuses.

Don’t need excuses. Gotta recognize and acknowledge clear talent competition though. Donald and Williams are the best!

The experts have loved the way Jurgens looked in the run game.  But with your extensive research in the All 22 film studies...what particular aspect you see where you believe there wasn't a drop off at RG?

Trying to exactly point out how your viewpoint is too narrow.

Not just RG. It’s the Oline.

Listen...one can easily live in the theory world and completely miss the reality of what has happened.

Our old poster Woody would always assume a heavier guy meant that he was better blocker or better short yardage runner...not taking into consideration the actual skill involved and the technique.  Plus the brain and thr heart.

I'll use an example...Sproles was our best short yardage runner since Westbrook.  Both of them were excellent in finding the hole quickly, ran decisive and had power, brains and heart to get the short yardage....regardless that we had bigger backs...they were more successful.

I agree that philosophy wise the idea was Jurgens next to Kelce wasn't ideal... But he proved that incorrect...with the biggest critic being Brian Baldinger.

But these analysts actually analyze... and admit that their initial ideas were incorrect after actually reviewing what happened.

In this case...Opeta had one nice game in pass protection.   But the reality is, he has struggled since.

Only about 2 more yards per carry than with your boy at RG

I can't say I'm thrilled at RG. I believe there is someone better out there long term for us and If Jurgens and Dickerson(both C's) are playing G,then we need to find a TRUE center very soon. I would think some decent round draft picks could help C,RG BU RT and Jurgens would be fine as a BU,but let's see if he gets better as the year goes on. I'm hoping he will grow to the point we only need to find a better BU. I mean we can't really crucify a guy who has played so little,so let's not panic yet

Jurgens is your future C.  So I agree we need to find the guy that will play on his right side.

Just a PFF...   Jurgens overall grade 65... Opeta 52.

Not that it is the only thing to go on... but it backs up the experts analysis.

Theory, like Dickerson was supposed to be Kelces replacement also. So C and RG in whatever capacity still needs work and we need to find a better RT BU IMO

So once again it would not shock me if Howie went with linemen(mostly) in the next draft

My viewpoint being that the guys whose job it is to watch film for hours and analyze the specifics ....have given their opinion....which also backs up the results we have seen on the field.

That's narrow minded.... but only bringing up a Rams game and pass blocking is the enlightened broader viewpoint?

I still like Jeremiah Trotter JR for us though,I can't lie

Idk that Dickerson was supposed to be Kelce's replacement.   I think he just played C his last year in college buy had experience in other spots.  He was just so physically dominant  I never really read them saying he was specifically going to replace Kelce? I just think that was assumed by a lot of outside people.   Jurgens was Kelce's boy... the guy he specifically recommended to the Eagles as a C. .. which is his natural position.

Shock?  I absolutely expect it.  It makes perfect sense.

Sure but I still like Trotter for us in round 2. The Georgia center seems to be a natural at the position

I said it would NOT shock me lol

Unfortuately the Saints schedule is a cake walk from here out, although Carr is not playing well there either

Against two of the most elite DT in the league though, right?

His measurables work perfect to pair next to Kelce.

G arguably most of all should be a massive strong moving bolder.

Mobile at G is not needed nearly as much as it can be utilized at T. Even C.

Siri came out right away praising Opeta play.

Nothing you ever look towards the coach in charge or the playcalls?

Had good run plays that worked and OC just didn’t come back to them.
