But makes sense from you to beat Hurts down so judgmentally when he obviously roughed out his injury. Gotta love fans that can appreciate that.

5-1 the 6 games before that....so 29-5 the last 34 games since losing vs the Chargers in 2021.

29-5....after starting his career 4- 9.  33-14 overall...  9 more this year, if he can keep thst pace...6-3 the rest of the way....I think only Detroit might have a shot to beat 13-4... simply due to their schedule.    #1 seed with the road to the SB going through the Linc. ...would be sweet.

What is beating Hurts down?   He had a great game this past week... barring the fumble.

This is where  you lose credibility....he never does anything wrong in your eyes.

I actually think the injury is going to be good for him long term.   It will force him to win without running....NFL QB style.

No picks... excellent passing last week.   Really that's 2 excellent passing games since the poor performance vs the Jets.

One more would be great before the bye.   Would be nice for him to beat Dak for the 1st time.   The Dallas fans need a little humble pie at the moment with all that Dak vs Hurts crap I see all over social media lately.

Turnover differential is a key element to the game. Trying to pin these all on Hurts like it’s some problem he alone needs to fix is just not accurate.

No I’m not trying to pin it on any one single guy but he is part of the problem you are ignoring by stupid comments lie "he is fine”it isn’t an accurate comment… Serious issue our turnovers and our differential isn’t much better still in the bottom half the league which I’ve posted numerous times about…. And it isn’t like our D unit hasn’t had a good amount of turnovers in the first 8 weeks so makes our turnover problem even more alarming

Just so tired of the biased excuses week in and week out for Hurts but then want to talk on every other player as it’s there fault damn.

And I don’t even think hurts has been bad this year he has been quite good this season outside of the turnovers. Don’t know why it’s so big deal that we look at an aspect of players game that needs to be improved on as so massive negative it’s just FACTS

But no we would rather talk about the 8 touches Gainwell might have that’s the real problem with this team those 8 plays

Byard's picked off Dak 3x, twice in 1 game. Should make Dak take just an extra thought before he throws his way.

In one score games does that not matter?

It seems pretty clear how Howell exposed our Secondary last game. The blueprint can’t be ignored. Our coverage between LBs, Slot CB and S just has to tighten up. Massive holes have been clearly on display in the middle of the D. Our big guy Blankenship was injured and not able to cover his normal ground. Not nearly as recklessly as he previously afforded to play either. Byard just came in. Ricks barely played yet. Dean barely played yet. Morrow just not a coverage backer. Sidney admitted he blew his coverage giving up a TD. That was playing slot. He’s more of a LB than DB in many ways however. Cunningham has seemed like the best option if lone. Think he’s capable of some Zone abilities. Good mobility and length.
I’m thinking…this is leading to having to put Slay and Brad not in the optimal positions Desai would like to.
So just got to pull this whole thing together tightening up the gaps across the middle.

Some teams are just really good at shutting down the run - period. A lot of a RB's success depends upon the OL opening up lanes. I've seen Swift choose the wrong one at times - they all do. Gainwell gives his best, just look at that touchdown where he twisted and turned to the left to get in. To the LEFT, where we don't have to depend on Opeta, who thankfully may be relegated to b/u this wk.

Roby makes a difference. Though I’m rooting for Ricks believing that he looks more than capable.

Opeta hurt his hip. So sounding like Cam should get the start.

Think Steen only got in there for a few snaps. Anybody notice enough on any opinions?

Been saying all along - and even the players admitted - the communication back there has been very unsteady. Only reps together to function as a unit can improve that

Can see how the D is probably being Read here in some instances. Playing Quarter Quarter Half coverage deep? They were manipulating.

Actually don't remember what Steen did, will look it up later. Just pissed I can't get out of going to see a play at 2 the other end of the cape, then drinks after where I'll have to act like I really want to be there!

Dullaz-another guy that can hurt us is their TE Ferguson. Byard should be up to speed now

Haven’t had the same guys back there in back to back weeks yet. Time to really close these gaps. These are the guys we have at this point.

That was a good one... instead of taking the 2 yard sack...flick the ball forward out of bounds...it's legal to do it underhand.    He needs to do more of that and stop losing one or two yards...QB should never run out of bounds for a sack...throw it away, you are outside the pocket...it's legal

I think he got 8-9 yards on that specific play, but he DID carry the ball one handed with the ball DOWN and he DID drop it,so he needs to start taking care of the ball. We don't need our D to overplay and get gassed because of offensive stupidity and turnovers

I’m viewing this whole picture on D as Desai just building it all from scratch here. Has some very quality pieces to work with.  But now going forward? Who all can he incorporate into this D for the end of this season. Maybe two or three more a big part of the picture. Can’t predict any further than that in this league. Dean, Cunningham, Byard, Blankenship, Roby looks like can be a part of Desai Secondary here during that. Maddox probably a good part of the future. Have Bradberry and Slay outside. Keep stressing how we need just a couple more young building blocks to develop. Sidney, Ricks, Jobe, Ringo…couple others Gardner…Goodrich. Doesn’t matter much to me which young guy things click with. If Desai can get three if these guys to contribute enough this D really going to get tough on people.

Get 5 drinks and glue yourself to the TV.

Hurts does that a lot. Noticed it last game running to his right, thought he was going to get stripped but brought his hand up just in time as the defender was bringing his hand around for it.

Nope, going to avoid all media and watch it as soon as I get back

Jerruh's talking 2 faced, saying at 4-2 they belong in the upper echelon but don't belong on the field against 49'ers and Eagles - what?
