Penny at 220 is the heaviest we have. How about adding a 240?(Of course they need talent also (LOL)

Don’t know anything about him really but if we don’t really trust or like Penny for whatever reason why not give the rookie RB Lew Nichols a chance who is on our PS.

Good size RB as well at 5’10 220.

I dont get it. A Jets D player knocks down an Oline player, but a TD was scored. WHY couldn't LA decline it? Why did they have to run it again(1/2 way to the GL). It's like LA was penaiized for the Jets penalty having to run the play over. Really stupid. What if they didnt make it?DUUUUUUUMMMMMMBBBBB

Michigan got a letter, penalties are coming.

I like 93's "hot hand". You can't just pick guys and say "ok you're getting 12 carries, you're getting 8,you're getting 6" Early on Swift was tearing up defenses(easy ones to run on). Like WR's Some games AJ will rule (and has) Another game maybe Smith gets open. I would put each one in for a series and see whom does the best vs that particular defense. IF Swift is killing it,he doesn't need to come out. If Gains is,then Swift will have to settle for less touches that game, but agree we shouldn't try to force it to one. Swift had a bigger workload in Detroit so I'm not worried about wearing him out. If he is running amok in a game, then let him(not that we can't spell him once in awhile) but am against a pre determined amount of touches.I would also opt to use Penney more and early on to wear out opposing defensive lines. Isn't that why we got him,or if not WHY did we run out and get him? He was nasty in Seattle. So I hope this bye will be a time to review vids and make adjustments for the tough stretch. not just players getting rested, the staff should be full tilt figuring our where our running game disappeared to. Swift can also be extremely effective in the passing game, but not seeing that either. WHY???

There hasn't been a hot hand... Swift sucks because he is being used too much. Bring the 3rd guy in to keep them fresh and maximize their productivity as a unit!

OT-pretty cool. I still talk to Jackie Fuchs, aka Jackie Fox. If you know, you know 😊

Preaching to the choir, where is Penny? He doesn't suck,he is averaging 4.6 so far this year, about what he put up in Detroit.(one year it was 5.5) If our O line is so great he should be posting better numbers, especially if we actually used him in the passing game. I'm a bit dismayed that we aren't opening running lanes. Our O line should be opening holes you can drive a semi through,in which case we could use any of them. The fact we aren't doing that well means we use the most talented guy and that is Swift, thus his "overuse" is due to our inability to open running gaps

Gainwell had his best game I thought. Quality block on that play he had for Swift.

Good for you giving Gainwell credit. He did play his best game of the season. I actually like him. He picks up blitzers well; runs with authority; blocks well for his fellow RB.

The DBs had a ROUGH outing. I have to say this is the worst blitzing team and they RARELY blitz. This defense rarely plays in the backfield.

Michael Irvin made a comment that the Eagles beat the Cowpies on a "technicality.” I didn’t read it as there is no point. Irvin was the WORST commentator beyond Emmett Smith EVER. I refused to watch NFL NETWORK when he was on. Dude is a thug! Cannot stand him. Screw him! Eagles tried damn hard NOT to win that game.

Why does this defense allow every QB to look like an all pro?

Which is what RBBC is supposed to be. It concerns me when a team depends too much on 1 RB or WR. Injuries happen, players leave etc, then that team has to scramble somehow to uphold that room. RB or WR by committee should prevent a great drop off in that area.

Only prevent a dropoff if you raise the level of the personnel. Utilizing three mediocre guys doesn’t do much good. Not having much drop off from first to third isn’t great if the first just isn’t that good. Injuries happen. But nothing can just replace a talent like AJ at WR. If he goes out? There is a drop off. That’s good though. Means that guy is very talented. What you want.

Gotta just hope things pull together. Haven’t spent much time together working things out yet. Roby should be ready after the bye. Bradberry, Slay, Roby, Byard and Blankenship should be the Secondary. Need those guys gelling together. Let Desai figure out how to work off that group.

Got experience going with a few of these young DBs also. So hopefully they can be added into the mix also.

Problem has been related to the LBs also.

Haven’t covered a TE …yet

Believing if Desai can get the middle coverage tightened up it will allow the outside guys more flexibility to do what they are best at.

Kind of been stuck so far on just whatever the defense as a whole has even been capable of….more than setting up the playmakers.

Maybe we're sandbagging for later 🤣

The #Eagles have had the ball thrown against them 362 times, easily the most in the NFL Last season they had the ball thrown against them 556 times the entire season Teams can't run on the Eagles (fewest attempts in NFL) so they are passing it basically the entire game
