Heal 'em up,rest 'em up,push them a little harder, Should have all those coming out of the bye. STUDY film with the rook secondary players, Teach the linemen to raise an arm going in so there are no clear throwing lanes. maybe get a tip that can turn into a pic. Steen played alot better than I thought he would, and he still has lots of upside,so there we have a future RG.for when Jurgens takes over at C, Howie has a nice pipeline of lineman going. Both lines need to win the trench war, Still feel we can do even better with a sharp quick slot that has speed and hands. Like to see Julio used at near GL distances, say bewteen the 20 and the 5. Once you get inside the 5 he would not be as effective, but we may need him with Goedert out. Big O(because I can't pronounce his name) has tons of upside. We need to get him into the mix immediately at TE and I will still push to draft Jeremiah Trotter jr (LB) on draft day with our first pick, Ricks and the other rook secondary guys should study film all week. Any learning they do will help them and us. Need to hammer that film room and study your upcoming assignments.Putting that knowledge on the field will take time, but I hope they study hard this off week

Good for you giving Gainwell credit. He did play his best game of the season. I actually like him. He picks up blitzers well; runs with authority; blocks well for his fellow RB.

Correct, used properly he is more than fine within a committee.  That 3rd guy is the key here....I'm hoping they figure out things during the break..colder weather should mean more rushing down the stretch.

Believing if Desai can get the middle coverage tightened up it will allow the outside guys more flexibility to do what they are best at.

I believe if we stop the huge cushion and the soft zones.... to where it's pitch and catch...especially up the middle...that will be the biggest factor.   When you see replays you don't really see LBs getting beat....you see a hole where the receiver goes and is wide open...usually the LB drops or moves... in whatever the scheme is. You could have the 3 best LBs of all time...of the scheme tells them to move here, and they pass there... nothing they can do.

Half the time if we planted a LB 7 yards directly in the middle and just said " stay here"  I think it would have worked better.

Idk what the reads or the scheme is...but these huge holes where doesn't seem like anyone has the assignment to cover a guy is a problem.    I can understand " deep safety" but it's ridiculous how deep they play on a lot of these plays and just have such a huge gap in the middle.

I mean.. the other obvious thing...you blitz and force the QB to get rid of the ball on a short pass...it's much easier to cover that.  Mixing that up and saving your DL from getting exhausted might help.

We can't have 3rd and 10 converted so easily with a soft zone and 4 DBs playing 20 yards downfield.

The #Eagles have had the ball thrown against them 362 times, easily the most in the NFL Last season they had the ball thrown against them 556 times the entire season Teams can't run on the Eagles (fewest attempts in NFL) so they are passing it basically the entire game

I thought our run D was an obvious weakness?  Lol

I think Julio would be fine to use inside the 5.  Probably could even be the best at that being its really one move, use your body and catch the ball type play.

This new TE from Denver looks to be good in this area also.

You could be right, especially with Goedert out. Toss it up to either him or AJ and take your chances

Nah we're good at stuffing the run. But lately we are giving up more than before. We were stuffing their running game and we HAD one, both of those have taken a turn for the worse

I would do this,it's not like we have riches going on here. We need the talent. Byard was a bit disappointing, but I will give him until after the bye since he's only been here a short time

Agreed,we are so worried about getting beat deep,we are letting them drive down the field with those open holes glaring us in the face. I also don't know why on 3rd and 7,we run 6 yard route patterns. How about running 8 yard ones??? Rocket science?

Lol Just seen Jordan Matthews was signed to the panthers active roster I didn’t even know that man was still in the league

Wow, Baldy just broke down a play that would have lost us the game if dak had the time to look to his right instead of going to his right. Blankenship blocked a pass to a WR on the left, but they had a crossing route on the right which left the totally underused Cooks wide open for a walk in TD. Cooks is almost as MIA as our Penny

Chalk another one up to the pass rush

Sweat tied w/ Parsons at 50 pressures - yet never heard talked about!

So sweat tied #1, Reddick 5th most in NFL

Sweat really starting to come into his own one of the better pass rushers in the league.

7.5 sacks splitting reps in 2021

11 sacks last year

6.5 sacks already this season

I'm ok on being a yard short....that's automatic with the QB sneak.  That hasn't been a factor yet.  But that cushion on defense repeatedly keeps the other team on the field

Right...he missed wide open Cooks and Ferguson on the 4th down play too.

Big mistakes at the moment of truth.

LA signed Wentz

Both big time paid guys that are….way underpaid still.

Wow they are in real bad shape obviously 😉

What's worse is the gnats may start Matt Barkley this wk

My way, if Bells' tackle was illegal, he wouldn't be able to play until Goedert could
