IDK how we'd do it,but I would LOVE to get Maxx Crosby off LV..........Non stop motor, the attitude I love in defenders, the "killer" instinct. The man is a beast

With the Raiders likely going into rebuild he could become available but the asking price would be high…. No doubt a 1st round pick and some…. The question is how much would you be willing to give up for him

I don't slurp him up  like you do... he made a play at the end, Smith was owning him all game.   He isn't getting top money from me.   Certainly not $30 million like you are hinting at.   Not with the injury history of the knee either.

He has the most QB pressures in the entire league

F'getaboutit! Crosby signed thru '26 averaging at a little over $20 mill/yr in base salary alone. You can dream, but it ain't gonna happen

The only thing that truly matters is the cap hit… He also out an out in his contract in 2025 so basically has 1 year left on his current contract.

So if you traded for a guy like Maxx your going a new deal is likely in place before any trade happens

No I don’t think we would trade for Maxx because the asking price would be to high on top of us already paying Sweat and Reddick

Posted yesterday that Sweat's tied #1 and Reddick is 5th in QB pressures

But no possible way to think he deserves more than just less than half as much as others at his position, right?

Ian Rapoport reported on Wednesday that, "Pierre-Paul, one of the top rushers still available, is now willing to sign with the practice squad of a playoff contender, per sources.”

Surely Suh would sign on as well

Let's put a hold on the rebuild.. the coaching change might turn things around.

Congrats.... not getting 30 mil. Are you sure you aren't his agent?  Or Reddick?  You seem so eager to want to pay them?

He isn't getting 30 mil.   The other guys....that are getting paid...you think they get slightly more attention from the offense than Sweat does?    You don't think he benefits from the guys he is playing with?

Why do we need to add guys.   We have Sweat.

So you are saying we have more talent and a better D than the Browns and Niners…everybody else basically? Don’t think so.

I'm saying the guys who are getting paid....look at their teammates vs the guys Sweat plays next too.

Using your two teams... Bosa and Garrett.   Look at their teammates compared to Sweat.   You don't think those 2 in particular get more double teams than Sweat....or do you think those guys benefit more from their teammates ?

You have all 3 lines....take away Sweat, Bosa and Garrett .... which team gets hurt the least?   Which would you say would have the better remaining  DL?

But... let's Remember this...

Before doing anything....Reddick and Sweat count for 30 mil combined cap hits next year.

So when they get new deals.... let's see what happens to those #s

We will Remember this because it's an easy # to remember.  Plus let's be honest... we both think each other are idiots... so this will finally shut one of us up when it comes to cap management.

I say with new deals they create more cap space.   To add already to the good amount that they have.   Looking forward to seeing what happens.

I'll make sure we post $30 mil...every so often so you won't conveniently forget as you seem to do when you are incorrect about something.

I see it as Sweat and Reddick both deserve and are looking for nice raises based on their performance.

Except I didn’t say the opposite. Key point. You created something that didn’t even exist. Hope you win out on your make believe false narrative putting words in my mouth I never uttered.

But money owed on the cap even further than next year still remains an issue with these two.

Yeah I know he's not cheap but what a player. He would love to be on a winning squad. Quite the success story.beat alcohol addiction. Was afraid he would never play. He is making the most of his 2nd chance

How much would he "settle" for to have a ring? He is 26,that would basically be a 5 year window(maybe 4). Who thought we would get AJ?? Never EVER underestimate Howie. Never underestimate what a player will play for to put a SB ring on his finger. Yeah maybe I'm dreaming, yet I never thought AJ would come here,or Slay,or Bradberry or CJG,but they all did!!!!!
