Eagles S Kevin Byard has been highly effective against Travis Kelce in previous matchups. Byard has held Kelce to 3 catches on 8 targets for 37 yards as the nearest defender since 2016, per Next Gen stats.

The Bears didn't start over...they stuck with Fields...who has done worse than no name backups.    At some point you can't keep passing up the top pick because you think Fields is the guy.  

Bears suck...  Bears suck worse with Fields.   Is it his fault they suck...absolutely not.  

Is it his fault they suck WORSE when e plays...  you could logically say absolutely yes. 

2 absolutely bad reasons to stick with Fields would be ...

1. Trying to prove OSU QBs can play.

2. Not wanting to " start over"  

The only reason to pass up the #1 QB in two consecutive drafts....is because you feel ... like almost certain...that Fields is the guy. 

Because now the rookie deal is over and you gotta pay for him.   

But I'll ask....why do you care so much about Fields.... is it an OSU thing?  If so, you can understand why a GM can't look at it that way.

Logically they should move on from a QB who does worse than scrub backups...  imagine passing up 2 years worth of QBs just because you are afraid of moving on?

I think they start over so they don't have to pay Fields while they try to rebuild. They have nice RB's, DJ Moore I have a man crush on,Mooney is fine as a WR,but their O line is weak and so is their D. I don't particularly care either way

Bears could have 2 top 5 picks. If they don't go QB THAT would be insanity. They should see what they have in all their players and move on from there.

But I feel they go ahead and take one of the top 2 QB's and trade Fields so they can avoid paying out a big contract right now

If they decide to trade Fields they could have 3 round 1 picks. I like Fields in NE. I think the Pats would be interested and let Jones walk

I was hoping before the trade deadline we could make a deal for Kyle Pitts. ATL has no clue how to use him.Really wasted talent. Goedert/Pitts would be a formidable TE duo

Totally agree with you here. Big target,especially in the RZ. I hope to see our D bashing on Mahomes. The field in Glendale really hurt our pass rush which is one of our strengths. This field should be much better. I hope alot of Eagles fans take over Arrowhead

Dallas Goedert, Derek Barnett, Sua Opeta, Rashaad Penny, Moro Ojomo, and Tanner McKee.

Steen got the nod over Opeta. Scott must be ready to roll now with Penny healthy scratch. McKee I think can Emergency duty anyway.

Disappointed Ojomo won’t get a chance even tonight.
