Hurts was under duress most of the game. That didn't stop Johnson from constantly having his quarterback take deep dropbacks against the Chiefs pass rush, who finished with five sacks.

In bed on phone. Just saw that and had to share. Gnight

I still don't know how we won. It wasn't that we were good,it was the key mistakes they made. I'm glad the curse is over for Jason I'm out also. I will just shut up and take the 9-1. Don't forget the say after Thanksgiving is the first "black Friday" game ever. Amazon can't give up 1 week

https://www.drafttek.com/2024-NFL-Draft-Position-Rankings/Top-College-Offensive-Guards-2024-NFL-Draft.asp  This is a Howie type pick and we could use a G if Jurgens moves to C. Cooper Beebe(ranked 36th at the moment)

What big plays? Please Hurts was terrible LOL. AJ brown 8 yards? Seriously? Like everyone else says they lost the game for themselves with drops.. We tried hard to lose but they tried harder. Just an awful game by Hurts. We dodged the bullet MANY times in this game. Swift was a key player,but we went way from the run(again). We were LUCKY.If Hurts keeps playing this way we are not going to the SB

If Hurts keeps playing this way? Yeah we all know he wasn’t great yesterday but he’s been great the last few weeks.

Second ranked D. Best of all time TE. Great Oline. Huge list of B list WR. Pacheco constantly dicing us. Hurts had Quez drop that deep ball in the SB. Good tough game. Chiefs are a good team. Not some scrub team. Are you kidding me?

OL for KC not that great on the edges...they have been struggling. Mahomes knows how to move to avoid the rush while keeping his eyes downfield.

The QB play wasn't close.  Our guy was looking for the DL all game, regressed a lot there.    The play where he runs on 3rd and long instead of throwing to the open guy down field is perfect example of where he isn't close to Mahomes yet.

See the field..... make the throw.    Hurts has gotten better at the 2nd part... still struggling to see the field.

Classic Monday night football game. Fly Eagles. Can we get to 16 and 1? Hope so.

My goodness can you imagine… I guess the bigger question is what do we think we need to get the #1 seed which is the key.

14-3 as long as the 2 losses are not to Dallas and Seattle.  That should take care of tiebreaker with Detroit.

Let’s hope so. I was rather hopeful Detroit had put themselves in too big a hole on Sunday just to give us a bit of breathing room.

Like Mahomes did in that perfect pocket throwing the interception to Byard?

Well fellow birdbrains it's gonna be a wonderful day here in Chiefs country. Well for me anyway.

Of course i wouldn't have gone anywhere had the Eagles lost

They lost to Seattle... 3 games left...2 vs Minnesota and vs Dallas.   They lose one of those it should allow us to get 1st seed at 14-3....as long as the 2 losses aren't Seattle and Dallas

Really impressed with our squad!

I wouldn’t go this far lol by all means great we are finding ways to win while we still are not playing our best ball….But at the same time we are looking really bad at times think I’m ready for this team to put it all together and start playing its best ball complete game O and D

Detroit might be the team i wouldn’t want to see come the playoffs…. Very similar to our own squad just tough gritty team that is finding ways to win games and don’t look like they are playing there best ball yet

Was just going thru Detroits' schedule as well. Except for KC they haven't won a game vs a good team. KC was the 1st game of their season, they're always up in the air. Got blown out by Baltimore, which isn't hard to do but it wasn't even competitive

Steelers fired their OC - too late

"Eagles play-calling does Jalen Hurts no favors:  Entering Week 11, Philadelphia ranked in the top five in scoring (28 points per game) and total offense (376.8 yards), but Monday night showed why Philly fans this season have been frustrated with offensive coordinator Brian Johnson, whose playbook primarily consists of bubble screens and quarterback draws (with a couple of miracle deep balls to receivers Devonta Smith or A.J. Brown thrown in). "

Not getting on Johnsons' case, last night he called back to back bubble screens to opposite sides which did nothing but lose downs. Do we even have a rub route? Even if he's going to blow bubble - do it 5 yds down field. Deep drop backs when the OL isn't holding up? These are the things that bug the crap out of me about his play calling

Carter on attempting to intercept the spike;

"I saw it on the internet, I seen it on YouTube," Carter said. "Some high school kid tried and he actually caught the ball. So I thought, that's a good idea and I knew they were spiking it, so I tried to go for it."

Never seen that attempted, didn't notice he tried it during the game. Here it is again, nice closeup;

My issue was ....we run for 11 yards...and then 3 straight passes.

But if they had to ban a play....instead of the Brotherly Shove....ban the bubble screen.

That and the read option ....I could go without ever seeing again.  It's high school BS.

@JeffKerrCBS

Jalen Hurts has won 13 consecutive games against teams with a winning record. The longest streak by any QB in #NFL history. Hurts passed Peyton Manning and Vinny Testaverde for the all-time mark.

HAve the Cowboys beat anyone with a winning record?

The thing about the read option is how many plays can be run off the same set. We did go 10 set a few times w/ a very underused Gainwell in as a blocker

Nope, got blown out by SF but gave us a tough game - or did we give us a tough game?
