Consider the defensive calls. 6 vs 5 is not a porous line actually. It’s not possible to block that with those numbers…..sooooo, OC, SCHEME against that…..and NOT THE DAMN BUBBLE SCREEN! Please!

And there was one series later in the game where on first down they ran and gained 10 or 11 yards. The next THREE play calls were passes and bad route decisions….no-one to throw the ball to. That’s overthinking things….and forcing your offense off the field quickly. I am not proposing to run every play. I am suggesting to run plays on early downs that can get you to third and short or medium…PLEASE!

That's why we miss Goedert,he was a key cog in our offense. He could pick up that blitzer,or do damage as a pass catcher. We really need to find an adequate BU IMO. It was supposed to be Calc, but he's never been 100% and now he's hurt again. The guy from Denver showed promise, maybe he can be the 2 soon. We really need to STOP 2 things(well techincally 3). As you said bubble screens, and what I call flairs to the sidelines(maybe you call those bubble screens as well) to the sidelines. We did that like many in a row and they all FAILED. WHY keep doing what doesn't work? The other is called QB runs, that is not how Hurts excels,he excels on "broken" plays. Trying to "mimic" a broken play is not working, yet the OC keeps calling all 3 of those plays. We got away with one-congrats,but that was a rarity. I'm no OC or pro,but christ stop doing whats not working.Any pee wee coach knows that. We were LUCKY KC beat themselves,it wasn't it was because we were the superior team. We were also doing those flair passes when Goedert was in. Great a 1 yard pass play, Please,Goedert is best 5-8 yards downfield. he's not a sideline guy. Really being misused even when he was in. This OC bugs me some after watching the plays called vs KC. We ran the ball fairly effectively, not great but we were picking up yards and they STOPPED doing it TOO early. The game was close,no need to panic, but he did. Swift was getting yards, instead we did the 3 and out passing.really getting to me a little now. The college offense doesn't work. Still waiting for Penny to earn any of the money we pay him

So what do we think about Leonard? Is that a move we should explore?

Think it comes down to his physical and whether he wants money or a possible ring.

They have been pulling Leonard on passing downs. That’s damning. Not picking up that contract on waivers I’m sure. He needs to clear them to even get to the discussion.

Matching up the NFC versus the AFC:

Eagles ——Ravens

Lions——Chiefs

Niners——Jags

Seahawks—-Dolphins

Cowboys—-Browns

Some seem to tout the AFC as so much better. I don’t see some great divide in favor of the AFC this year.

Welp,we'd have to pay him almost a million per game just this year alone if we got him off waivers

Why if he cleared waivers? It's up to him if he wants paid or a possible ring and for us to do our due diligence with his physical

Agreed at the top...especially with KC losing to both Eagles and Detriot...Baltimore beat Seattle and Detriot though.

The next level is where the AFC us probably seen as better.   Teams 6 to 10 or 12.   Minnesota,  Saints....then who... vs Pitts,  Cincy,  Houston etc.  Probably perception that Denver and the Raiders ....Chargers and Jets...  compared to Atlanta, Washington,  Tampa...etc.

Overall the AFC is deeper... I think at the top its even because the teams are good....none are all time great though.

Yeah but if we put a claim in we'd pay. We're 31st on the waiver list. We can hope he clears it AND wants to play here AND Howie would pay him

He's not happy, but he sounds like a guy who would be an instant fit here culture wise and we have the former Colts staff members. His concerning medicals would hinder any team from giving him big money, but if he wants to be a BU here for BU loot and his meds check out, then maybe we make this move. Maybe limited play will help his recovery and he could do more in '24. Lord knows we could use help at the position. Isray is a total JERK. The Colts enjoy eating dead cap LOL

Nobody is going to claim him

Nope,too expensive with his meds

BTW RB Henderson still interests me as well. He's like Sproles, only 5'8" but 205

Some thoughts on a potential #Eagles signing of Shaq Leonard: ** In some ways a no-risk, why-not move. If it is just money, and won't really impact cap, no harm in seeing if he can return to the All-Pro player he was 2 seasons ago ** I don't think they NEED to sign him. Morrow and Cunningham are playing better than they are given credit for. Signing Leonard means one is no longer going to be playing and I don't think either deserves to be benched. ** FWIW, of all the linebackers the Eagles and Colts this year, Leonard has the lowest PFF grade ** Last year he barely played because of injury, but this year he is getting 70% of the snaps and still hasn't been great. So it is fair to wonder if he is the same player after suffering a back injury, which is a tough injury to recover from

The speedster MVS drop seems to have awoken the need for Quez off IR

How about getting Julio more involved?

Justin Evans, it’s rumored,  has suffered a setback. They opened his practice window for return off IR last week. But he was limited off the bat. Today he was nonparticipant. You only get three weeks of practice before the team must activate. They might have screwed this one up.

Knee injury. Might be a problem going to that well too much.

Crap. Wierd one of the reasons we lost the SB was a dropped Quez pass then won Sun with them dropping a pass. Still thinking who I'd rather face in the SB if we get there, KC or Balt - the devil you know.......

Not getting ahead, let's take Buff 1st
