There are no stats for "guys who wear out D lines.It's an intangible "stat". I was assuming that's why we got Penny in,but we don't use him,so seems pointless to do. At least he was cheap

You don't wear out the DL with a RB who runs into them ... you wear them out with the guy that runs past them and makes the 5 or 6 yards to keep the ball.   Taylor isn't a basher runner...neither is Henry....both those guys have speed...  they run past the DL... make a cut and are hard to arm tackle from the side...they don't bulldoze and try to run right at guys.

Never said Sproles was a " basher"  ..for some reason that's you not understanding a conversation. 

I simply said Sproles was excellent in short yardage ..because he was no nonsense runner....saw the hole and hit it ASAP.  Got past the hole, one cut...North/ South running.

Finesse are guys who run sideways and danc around.   Shady was finesse... it's why he sucked in short yardage.

Lane was fine at practice. Got up this am w/ ab pain, reported to trainers, had an MRI, got treatment, now he's out
