Not sure where I stand on that choice. Trading up to number one for Franchise QB…owner is getting his guy. Have to hire the coach first. Many times it’s very obvious whom the choice will be. Looking like the Bears and Panthers screwed the pooch.

If you’re the owner you should want to win trust your coaches and scouts…. Owners overstepping is when you see terrible picks lot of the time

Not going but just recently Elliott has been pretty consistent most of his career so far and has made some huge kicks since he came in as a rookie and hit the 61 yarder v the Giants

GM supposed to take everybodies opinions into consideration and decide. But rumors were flying up until the end that there was hot debate going on right up to the draft. Bears and Panthers looked to have really screwed up. Coaches, GMs, owners…all at fault in the mix ups. Heck the way Stroud is looking plenty of teams really messed up. How many teams would you say it was a mistake they didn’t trade for Stroud?

I agree nothing wrong with Young but I’m still of the opinion if I hire a coach especially going into a draft knowing a QB I’m getting the guy he wants…

In Hams case if the owner wanted Young from the start then should have hired a coach that was 100% all in for young if the reich wanted Stroud was true
