Fields can be a franchise guy. I recall some guy named Hurts who didn't play well for awhile. had to work him in for a few years too,Fields went right into the fire

Fields isn’t a Franchise Guy.

And I’m not even saying Fields is a franchise guy but put hurts in the same situation and the Bears will look equally has terrible… And no it isn’t a knock to Hurts rather then just how terrible the Bears are.

The OL is really bad outside of Moore and Cmet nothing on O the D has been horrible most of the year.

Reich just isn’t HC. He’s a QB coach or OC. But good for him that he got paid.

I would agree with this but doesn’t mean he will step back down to OC

Says who though I know you’re not going to say the Bears who are terrible is the reason Fields isn’t a franchise guy…. I mean one bad mistake shouldn’t alter that either…. I mean fields doesn’t have a Jake Elliott to bail him out when the Onmakes terrible mistakes or a D the bail Him out for a terrible start

Seems like you are alluding to comparing Fields to Hurts. Seems like you are in the majority on this site to think like that. But your opinion there would be wrong. Just missing so many of the key ingredients our leader brings to the table.

Hurts has transformed this whole franchise in his image.

Yeah they have talent, but apparently their staff can't put it together

I think Reich is a great OC and a great #2 think Joe said it he can make a game plan he can tell how to attack teams etc.

I don't agree. He helped get the Colts started on a rebuild, starting with nothing and also a trash owner in Indy. In Carolina they had a nice start on a rebuild, they got rid of all their guys. How is either scenario Reichs fault? Give them man some players and some time

Not at all I think you are missing the fact of how much more talent we have on this roster v the bears…. I think you are missing how massive it is to have a top 5 OL(hell the best OL) in football blocking for you…. Having a D that bails you out for mistakes.

It isn’t like Hurts hasn’t had a turnover problem since he entered the league especially fumbles which has cost the bears and fields two games.

He just made a time of money to set himself up. He hasn’t made near that in all his years before. I think he maybe just hangs it up. Really felt like the Colts situation took plenty out of him. But seeming like to me this year with the Panthers was a frustrating nightmare. I doubt he wants to rush back into anything right now.

Colts had a good roster though just lacked a QB and he kept hand picking his own Vet guys and still couldn’t get over the hurdle until they kept underachieving

Owners expect HC's to take the team from the bottom to the top in 2 seasons-not happening

So even with BU QB Minshew they look alot better than before. Pittman playing well, they have Taylor, need more pieces and a deep threat QB. Reich got them turned around, booted him before the job was done

He is my final take and you can take it how ever you want.

I think Hurts would look equally as bad as Fields on the same exact Bears roster because that is how bad the bears are

On the flip though I’m not sure Fields would look as good as Hurts if he was on this Eagles team… I do think there are things Hurts does that helps us win

Colts are 6-5,same as Houston with a TOP QB

Elliott is slowly putting his name on the mix for best Kicker in the league definitely one of the most clutch outside of who Tucker not sure there is any kicker I trust more then him

I trust Elliot more than Tucker..  At the moment Elliot is better.  Tucker has the reputation though.

Was Demeco on our roster then Doug was HC??? I was watching a clip of them talking since they played each other but I don’t remember when Demeco left us

The Bears have plenty of talent. More than we had Hurts first two seasons.

This is fair Tucker was honestly the only kicker I could think of to compete with Elliott

We'll never know. Hurts was just AWFUL for 30 minutes yesterday

Just an absolutely massive clutch kick

That's the best kick in franchise history... considering everything involved.

Intangible gap Evil Knievel couldn’t have jumped

Lmao lies and so horrible false tell me with a straight face the bears had a better D then us???? Or a better OL???? Or Cmet is better then Geodart, Herbert is better then Sanders????

Both should make the HOF IMO. Tucker missed one yesterday, cost them the game

Didn't Baltimore win?

Everyone yammering hot hot Stroud is(and he is) but the Colts have the same record
